I want to go into hatchery too. Currently I am doing my training in Asia. Hopefully I will learn enough to open my own. Also I am currently looking for foreign partner who has experience in the industry to partner with.

Poultry breeder farm is not easy.
Where will you get the fertilised eggs to hatch. Where will you get your parent stock.

Do you have any experience in poultry breeder farm farming?

If not you will lose a lot of money.

The above reasons is why only big farms in Nigeria have breeder farms

In Nigeria over 50% of the day old chicks are produced by foreign firms.

In South East there is no company that produces day old chicks, we still have to go to south west Nigeria to get it.

This is because of shortage of skills to operate a parent stock farm to produce the fertilised eggs in commercial bases.

That is day old chicks that can perform.

Also to produce feeds on commercial bases like vital feed you need the necessary skill and training.

Why are you against the training?

Can I get this training professional in Nigeria?

To learn more about Hatchery and Poultry feed. I will be going for the PTC PLUS training in Holland.

The incubation and parent stock management will start from 4th Jan 2016 to 29 Jan 2016.
The fee is Euro 3,650.

The Feedstuff and Feed formulation will be from 1st Feb 2016 to 12 Feb 2016.
The fee is Euro 1,950.
