Anytime GT Fund managers sends you funds performance of their various mutual funds check the bottom of the message a clause is always written there informing investors that the rate displayed are gross.

The industrial rule is that fund managers are to display net rate otherwise it should be stated just as GT Fund manager is doing.

Oh..thanks..may have seen that...had thought you meant on the app. Anyway the apps are hardly info-rich.

May have to move most of my equity to a fixed deposit or something...need the most yield since I don't have any use for it atm.

Always note that what is displayed by GT fund managers is gross; this is always stated at the bottom of their display. You will need to remove the management fees to get the net yield.

STL ASSETS MANAGEMENT ..there money market fund is currently 19.01%

First Ally MMF is 18.26% today

I may have to reduce my equity in Stanbic MMF (15.30%) soon

They are big (currently managing about 410 billion naira assets under their mmf). Their mmf rate has remained consistently above 17%. Deposit is instant. I withdrew only once and I got credited within an hour.
They automatically send your interest to your account at the end of every quarter, so if you want to reinvest your profit, you'll have to send it back to your account every quarter. Deposit attracts 100 naira charge. Capital remains there unless redeemed.
I once sent them an email on a Sunday and they replied on that same day(Sunday) and fixed the issue, so I'm thinking their customer service can be rated high.
They've been in asset management since 1994.
They need to improve the user interface of their App, especially for stocks trading, but the App works fine.

I think the interest is reinvested if you select that option when you initiate the MMF.

I funded my mmf with GT fund managers and my account was updated after 9 days of continuous email. I abandoned the account two years ago. I discovered that they operate via app and I decided to give them a second try.

So far, no major issues.

They only show their management fee on the demo. I want to believe they only take it at maturity.

I am going for the 91-day tenor like I said earlier.

I know of Blunest already but it doesn't have the 91-day tenor which I want.

A physical branch visit may be required. Email or call them.

Let him/her try and see. The technical issues with Blunest in that aspect can be very strong sometimes. About a month ago, I transferred money to my Stanbic Blunest wallet for a TB advert I got from them via mail. After sending money to them, I tried to invest for about 10 days or so that it was available to no avail. Every time I try, after completing the process I will be told that it seems the network is bad from their side that I should try again and I will do that to no avail then I got tired and removed my funds. The next day I removed it, I got the attached message.


He/she can also send them a mail so long as he/she operate an account with both of them, letting them know that he is in a location where there is no branch right now (Not necessarily telling them the exact location) but what to invest. They will reply him on what to do.

Stabic and technical issues are 5 & 6. And for big bank, that's unfortunate. I was surprised the web app has improved, some months ago, any action button click was snail-slow.

Someome of these banks want diaspora investors but are not diaspora-friendly.

A Stanbic IBTC T-Bills offer shows a management fee of about 1% but no withholding tax (WHT) stated.

The value shown/estimated at maturity is also without additional deductions.

Is WHT and/or additional deductions expected at some point?
