My fellow Nairalanders, change is the only thing that is said to be permanent. What is happen in Nairaland is what we all has been calling for and expecting which is CHANGE. I like change if it will reduce my effort and improve my efficiency. I think that is what seun is doing in this new nairaland. Let's give this guy time and support he may need to enable him improve nairaland.

Remember nairaland is our own and therefore let's try to support it than criticizing it. This guy has really improved this new nairaland. If you have any suggestion you can drop it here or other avenue which he has made available. I must really commend him for this bold effort because this change has been overdue. So I plead with you to support him.

i don't like the way Mtn and other SA companies operate in nigeria. The siphon nigerians of their cash and transfer all to there country. Mtn don't have any solid structure in Nigeria. Most of there assets are on lease. In 2010 they made over 500 million naira profit with out nigerians enjoying from it. There whole profit was transfered to south africa to develop it. i just entered futo this morning to meet my old friend and i discovered a wireless network in my laptop. i connected and it gave me access. @poster, what i may say may not be sweet but hear it. You can't start any biz from the scratch and make it with 300k huz rent waiting. My advice as others said is to cut your expenses by looking for a huz that will cost less than 100k and let every1 around you know your situation now and back off from asking you for cash. Tell your wife to understand and locate a gud biz and start small. I bet you, you can come out from this. I don't like giving out my email but i bet you can come out of this. The 250,000 b/d mandated by the fg to be consumed locally is not charged. Is part of the JV agreement. Hw can you charge urself for what you own is not true. The 250,000b/d allocated 4 local consumption is drilled by d oil cow and send to NNPC at no cost. So you see if our refineries are working the cost that will be incurred will be only production cost. The transportation cost will be wiped out because the product will be send to depots through pipelines. Nigeria should but their refineries to work. Also, if what you said is true that nnpc decided to sell the 250,000b/d then nnpc should use it to pay 4 d subsidy. Thanks.

I wanted to out smart Nigerians because of the removal of fuel subsidy. I went to a bicycle seller to pick a mountain sports bike since is the cheapest means of transportation now. To my greatest suprise the bicycle seller told me that the cost of a sports bicycle is 1 million. Reason, bicycles are in high demand than cars. Lol.
