Logic Mind: like i said, you are only trying to reconcile your religion with scientific facts. The conclusion you've drawn from your argument is illogical. You've not drawn out any fact. Rather you've been more emotional than logical. All the same, it's left for the viewers of the post to draw out their conclusions from the arguments and counter-arguments. So, case closed. |
Logic Mind: backwardness is badIt's true. I don't advice anyone, not even my enemy, to be backward. Unfortunately some give advice but don't follow it themselves. |
tbaba1234: And to God belongs the east and the west. So wherever you [might] turn, there is the Face of God. Indeed, Godcorrect. |
Jarus: I don't think it's necessary. The Qur'an just tells us to attend Friday prayers and continue with our businesses afterward. 2-hour break(1-3) on Friday is enough in my opinion.Get it right. The one who created this thread just wants to draw everyone's attention to the prevalent injustices. Are you aware that many work places and schools deny Muslims the opportunity of even the jumat service? |
LagosShia: in what we know of birthdays.commemorating or remembering the chosen ones of Allah (swt) involves educating ourselves about their lives and reminding us of how to lead our own lives as they did.I repeat Islam is about evidence and not i think it's right. Did the prophet's companions do it? I know the shia don't revere the companions for reasons best known to them. Did Ali do so? Do you understand Islam better than Ali? |
maclatunji: Simple question, simple answer.the non-muslims are seriously bewildered about how the Muslims now use "their tool" to defeat them. Sorry logical mind. We're no push around here. We were taught and we learnt unlike.......... |
tiarabubu: @tbabayou're right Muslims in Nigeria face the north east for their qibla 'cause that's where it lies. The direction of the kaabah is northeast. There hasn't been any serious issue over that i suppose. |
lepasharon: my dad said if ur shaddow is behind, you r facing the east!it depends on what time of the day it is. In the morning, if your shadow is behind you, you are facing the east although sometimes not perfectly east. In the evening, if your shadow is behind you, you're facing the west or close to that direction. |
amosy007: how many countries have sundays as their first day of exept the arab nations?perhaps you should check your dictionary for what the first day of the week is. Even primary school pupils know. No matter how much you try, sunday will always remain the first day of the week anyday anytime. |

amosy007: Even before u carry religion on ur head... Saturdays and sundays has always being work free days.. Opin ose like d Yoruba people will call it... Do u even think its only muslims and christians owns this nation? If every religions start claiming they want public holiday for d day they worship.. Are we gona have days dat we will work? Think b4 u suggest... Sundays aint abt christians going to church.. Its normal calender we have being using b4 u were bornYou are wrong you know. Sunday is not "opin ose". Sunday is the first day of the week in all countries. Know that now. Sunday is free Just for Christians to worship even though it's not traceable in the bible. I wonder when sabat changed from Saturday to Sunday. |
Or ontop the bible ![]() |
@logic/illogical mind. So when you face your mother and are talking to her you are facing her aass/ass right? ![]() |
It's so unfortunate that some Muslims in a bid to propagate their religion say things that are incorrect and rather than guide lost people, misguide them the more. Pls note the following: 1. The prophet (S.A.W.) fasted on Monday which was the day he was born. 2. He was born on the 12th of the 3rd month but there's no record that he fasted on the day. Remember that his birthday could be Monday this year and Tuesday or Wednesday next year. 3. Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) was a prophet and an example to mankind not an ordinary man like us. 4. His companions who are the best of people as reported in narrations from the prophet (S.A.W.) did not fast on their own birthdays. They knew the prophet (S.A.W.) and loved him better than we do. 5. Any act we do expecting to get rewarded by Allah must be traceable from Quran and sunnah. My personal advice is don't do it. Those who claim that you can but shouldn't make it flamboyant should provide their evidence. Islam is about knowledge and not I think that it is correct. Intention only doesn't make an act valid. The deed itself must be valid. (Check An-Nawawi's 40 hadiths). That's what differentiates us from others. May Allah keep us guided. Allahu 'aalam. |
