Foreign AffairsRe: Russia Warns America Over Interference In Syria by Underground:
CONFIRMED: US Claims Against Syria - There is no Evidence

https://i482.photobucket.com/albums/rr188/cunchor/CIAlogo.jpg
August 28, 2013 (Tony Cartalucci) - The Wall Street Journal has confirmed what many suspected, that the West's so-called "evidence" of the latest alleged "chemical attacks" in Syria, pinned on the Syrian government are fabrications spun up from the West's own dubious intelligence agencies.

The Wall Street Journal reveals that the US is citing claims from Israel's Mossad intelligence agency fed to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), a repeat of the fabrications that led up to the Iraq War, the Libyan War, and have been used now for 3 years to justify continued support of extremists operating within and along Syria's borders.

Wall Street Journal's article, "U.S., Allies Prepare to Act as Syria Intelligence Mounts,"

One crucial piece of the emerging case came from Israeli spy services, which provided the Central Intelligence Agency with intelligence from inside an elite special Syrian unit that oversees Mr. Assad's chemical weapons, Arab diplomats said. The intelligence, which the CIA was able to verify, showed that certain types of chemical weapons were moved in advance to the same Damascus suburbs where the attack allegedly took place a week ago, Arab diplomats said.

Both Mossad and the CIA are clearly compromised in terms of objectivity and legitimacy. Neither exists nor is expected to provide impartial evidence, but rather to facilitate by all means necessary the self-serving agendas, interests, and objectives of their respective governments.

That both Israel and the United States, as far back as 2007 have openly conspired together to overthrow the government of Syria
(http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2007/03/05/070305fa_fact_hersh?currentPage=all) through a carefully engineered sectarian bloodbath, discredits entirely their respective intelligence agencies. This is precisely why an impartial, objective third-party investigation has been called for by the international community and agreed upon by the Syrian government - a third-party investigation the US has now urged to be canceled ahead of its planned military strikes.

The Wall Street Journal reports:

In an email on Sunday, White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice told U.N. Ambassador Samantha Power and other top officials that the U.N. mission was pointless because the chemical weapons evidence already was conclusive, officials said. The U.S. privately urged the U.N. to pull the inspectors out, setting the stage for President Barack Obama to possibly move forward with a military response, officials said.

The US then, not Syria, is attempting a coverup, with fabrications in place from discredited, compromised intelligence sources and the threat of impending military strikes that would endanger the UN inspection team's safety should they fail to end their investigation and withdraw.

The Wall Street Journal also reiterated
(http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887324906304579039342815115978.html) that the US is planning to fully sidestep the UN Security Council and proceed with its partners unilaterally:

...if the U.S. chose to strike, it would do so with allies and without the U.N., in order to sidestep an expected Russian veto.

The US proceeds now with absolute disregard for international law, all but declaring it has no intention of providing credible evidence of its accusations against the Syrian government. It is a rush to war with all the hallmarks of dangerous desperation as the West's proxy forces collapse before the Syrian military. Western military leaders must consider the strategic tenants and historical examples regarding the dangers and folly of haste and imprudence in war - especially war fought to protect special interests and political agendas rather than to defend territory.

The populations of the West must likewise consider what benefits they have garnered from the last decade of military conquest their leaders have indulged in. Crumbling economies gutted to feed the preservation of special interests and the growing domestic security apparatuses to keep these interests safe from both domestic and foreign dissent are problems that will only grow more acute.

Outside of the West, in Moscow, Beijing, and Tehran, leaders must consider a future where Western special interests can invade with impunity, without public support, or even the tenuous semblance of justification being necessary.

The reason why the "rebels" have escalated hostilities to the level which we are now witnessing. Instructions from their Saudi masters.....

Bandar Bush, 'Liberator' of Syria

Pepe Escobar

Asia Times Online

https://i482.photobucket.com/albums/rr188/cunchor/Bandar_Putin.jpg
Talk about The Comeback Spy. Prince Bandar bin Sultan, aka Bandar Bush (for Dubya he was like family), spectacularly resurfaced after one year in speculation-drenched limbo (was he or was he not dead, following an assassination attempt (http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Middle_East/NH02Ak03.html) in July 2012). And he was back in the limelight no less than in a face-to-face (http://ca.reuters.com/article/topNews/idCABRE9760OQ20130807)with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Saudi King Abdullah, to quote Bob Dylan, "is not busy being born, he's busy dying". At least he was able to pick up a pen and recently appoint Bandar as head of the Saudi General Intelligence Directorate; thus in charge of the joint US-Saudi master plan for Syria.

The four-hour meeting between Bandar Bush and Vlad the Hammer by now has acquired mythic status. Essentially, according to diplomatic leaks, Bandar asked Vlad to drop Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and forget about blocking a possible UN Security Council resolution on a no-fly zone (as if Moscow would ever allow a replay of UN resolution 1973 against Libya). In return the House of Saud would buy loads of
Russian weapons(http://rt.com/news/saudi-russia-arms-putin-239/).

Vlad, predictably, was not impressed. Not even when Bandar brazenly insisted that whatever form a post-Assad situation would take, the Saudis will be "completely" in control. Vlad - and Russian intelligence - already knew it. But then Bandar went over the top, promising that Saudi Arabia would not allow any Gulf Cooperation Council member country - as in Qatar - to invest in Pipelineistan across Syria to sell natural gas to Europe and thus damage Russian - as in Gazprom's - interests.

When Bandar saw he was going nowhere, he reverted to his fallback position; the only way out in Syria is war - and Moscow should forget about the perennially postponed Geneva II peace conference because the "rebels" will be a no show.

Once again, Vlad did not need a reminder that the Saudis - in "cooperation" with Washington - have now taken over the "rebel" galaxy. Qatar has been confined to a (expensive) dustbin, as Vijay Prashad alludes to here(http://www.counterpunch.org/2013/08/07/qatars-bayah-to-the-saudi-king/). This is part of Washington's plan - if there is one - to isolate the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood and its shady jihadi ramifications/connections.

Wily Bandar, for his part, is not a fool to believe his own propaganda; he knows Moscow has more complex geostrategic interests other than just keeping Syria as a weapons client. And he might have suspected that Moscow simply does not bother with Gulf competition in Pipelineistan targeting European markets.

It's instructive to remember that in 2009, Damascus did not sign an agreement with Qatar for a pipeline via Syria; but they did sign the memorandum of understanding last year for the US$10 billion Iran-Iraq-Syria pipeline. So the point is for Damascus, the deal with Iran was much better; and if the pipeline is ever built Gazprom may even be part of it, in infrastructure and distribution. What Moscow has concluded is that Gazprom won't lose its energy grip over Europe to the benefit of Qatari natural gas. A case can be made that Gazprom holds more power over the distressed, decaying, virtually insolvent eurozone than the European Central Bank (ECB).

What Vlad does fear is a potential post-Assad utter chaos, to be fully exploited by Salafi-jihadis. It's never enough to remember that from Aleppo to Grozny it's roughly 900 kilometers. The next stop for the Global Jihad in Syria would be the Caucasus. And that's where Bandar Bush and Vlad the Hammer might converge; their mutual strategic interest is to reign in jihadis - although Bandar, in fact, is also weaponizing them.

The new Afghanistan
Moscow won't drop Damascus. Period. At the same time, as Bandar threatened, Geneva II seems more unlikely to happen than the Obama administration ceasing to drone Yemen to death.

As Asia Times Online has extensively reported, the name of the game, in practice, remains Syria as the new Afghanistan, with the House of Saud in control of all aspects of jihad (with Washington "leading from behind"wink. Deadly historic irony also applies; instead of clashing with the Soviet Union, now the Saudis clash with the Russian federation. Bandar is simultaneously the newWeaponizer-in-Chief
(http://english.al-akhbar.com/content/bandar-prince-jihad-expect-syrian-shift-power), as well as Liberator-in-Chief of Syria. The Comeback Spy is not accounting for future, inevitable, ghastly blowback; what's alarming is that the Obama administration is right behind him.

Bandar Bush's visit to Moscow simply could not have happened without a green light from Washington. So what's the (muddled) master plan? The Obama administration seems to believe in a remixed Sykes-Picot - almost a century after the original. The problem is they are clueless on how to configure the new zones of influence. Meanwhile, they're letting the Saudis do the heavy lifting. The first step was to eliminate Qatar from the picture. It's astonishing how fast the emirate, up to two months ago a prospective mini-superpower, now has been reduced to less than an afterthought.

Yet Bandar by now may have seen the writing on the (bloody) wall; Bashar al-Assad will be in power until the 2014 elections in Syria, and may even win those elections. The Saudis might accept a form of compensation in Lebanon, with their protege, the cosmically incompetent Saad al-Hariri, back in power in a coalition government including the political branch of Hezbollah - not the other one which the European poodles branded "terrorist". This also seems unlikely.

So what is Bandar the Liberator to do? Well, he can always direct his private jet to Dallas and liberate his sorrows in a sea of single malt, provided by the House of Dubya.

Saudi Arabia dangles lucrative arms deal in front of Russia in exchange for dropping Assad – report

Saudi Arabia has reportedly offered to buy arms worth up to $15 billion from Russia, and provided a raft of economic and political concessions to the Kremlin - all in a bid to weaken Moscow’s endorsement of Syrian President Bashar Assad.

The diplomatic initiatives were anonymously voiced to Reuters by multiple Gulf state diplomats and senior leaders of the Syrian opposition, in the wake of last week’s meeting in Moscow between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi National Security Council chief Prince Bandar bin-Sultan. The Saudi politician has orchestrated his country’s foreign policy in recent months.

"Bandar offered to intensify energy, military and economic cooperation with Moscow," a senior Syrian opposition figure told Reuters.

"Bandar sought to allay two main Russian fears: that Islamist extremists will replace Assad, and that Syria would become a conduit for Gulf, mainly Qatari, gas at the expense of Russia."

The $15 billion figure was touted by a representative of the anti-Assad opposition, which Saudi Arabia has strongly backed throughout the rebellion in Syria which has lasted more than two years. Meanwhile, a Gulf source claimed that no specific figure was involved.

Moscow and Riyadh, which traditionally acquires its arms from the United States, have had a massive contract on ice since 2008. Under Saudi Arabia’s terms, Russia would supply a huge assortment of equipment, including 150 T-90 tanks and more than 100 attack helicopters.

In the past, Moscow has supplied billions of dollars worth of weapons to Assad, as well as maintained a naval base in Syria.

Together with China, it has consistently blocked UN Security Council resolutions, saying they do not place any demands on the opposition - only on Assad.

Sources indicate that Bandar asked Putin to not oppose any future Security Council resolutions on Syria.

Bandar also reportedly assured Putin that Gulf states will not challenge Russia’s dominant position in the European gas markets, and promised him that extremist Islamic forces – which have gained prominence in the conflict – will not attempt to monopolize power in a future Syrian state.

While diplomats involved in the talks described them as “inconclusive,” one Lebanese emissary close to the delegation said its Saudi members were “elated.”

A Western diplomat told Reuters that Russia’s position was more a matter of prestige and geopolitics, and that the country was unlikely to publicly back down for the sake of mere economic incentives.

There has been no comment from the Kremlin on the outcome of the visit, other than to say that the delegates discussed a “wide range of issues” with President Putin.

A long-scheduled peace conference in Geneva, proposed by Russia and the US, has been pushed back and is currently under threat of cancellation. The meeting was supposed to achieve an immediate ceasefire and govern a political transition in Syria.

The conflict has largely hinged on whether President Bashar Assad will be banned from playing any political role in post-conflict Syria - a condition the opposition has demanded before it sits down at the negotiating table.

More than 100,000 people have perished in the conflict, according to UN estimates.

Syria: Another Western War Crime In The Making — Paul Craig Roberts

Syria: Another Western War Crime In The Making

Paul Craig Roberts

Update:

The war criminals in Washington and other Western capitals are determined to maintain their lie that the Syrian government used chemical weapons. Having failed in efforts to intimidate the UN chemical inspectors in Syria, Washington has demanded that UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon withdraw the chemical weapons inspectors before they can assess the evidence and make their report. The UN Secretary General stood up to the Washington war criminals and rejected their demand. However, as with Iraq, Washington’s decision to commit aggression against Syria is not based on any facts. http://rt.com/op-edge/syria-un-war-investigation-006/

The US and UK governments have revealed none of the “conclusive evidence” they claim to have that the Syrian government used chemical weapons. Listening to their voices, observing their body language, and looking into their eyes, it is completely obvious that John Kerry and his British and German puppets are lying through their teeth. This is a far more shameful situation than the massive lies that former Secretary of State Colin Powell told the UN about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction. Colin Powell claims that he was deceived by the White House and did not know that he was lying. Kerry and the British, French, and German puppets know full well that they are lying.

The face that the West presents to the world is the brazen face of a liar.

Washington and its British and French puppet governments are poised to yet again reveal their criminality. The image of the West as War Criminal is not a propaganda image created by the West’s enemies, but the portrait that the West has painted of itself.

The UK Independent reports that over this past week-end Obama, Cameron, and Hollande agreed to launch cruise missile attacks against the Syrian government within two weeks despite the lack of any authorization from the UN and despite the absence of any evidence in behalf of Washington’s claim that the Syrian government has used chemical weapons against the Washington-backed “rebels”, largely US supported external forces, seeking to overthrow the Syrian government.

Indeed, one reason for the rush to war is to prevent the UN inspection that Washington knows would disprove its claim and possibly implicate Washington in the false flag attack by the “rebels,” who assembled a large number of children into one area to be chemically murdered with the blame pinned by Washington on the Syrian government.

Another reason for the rush to war is that Cameron, the UK prime minister, wants to get the war going before the British parliament can block him for providing cover for Obama’s war crimes the way that Tony Blair provided cover for George W. Bush, for which Blair was duly rewarded. What does Cameron care about Syrian lives when he can leave office into the waiting arms of a $50 million fortune.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/syria-un-weapons-inspectors-attacked-as-they-try-to-enter-

The Syrian government, knowing that it is not responsible for the chemical weapons incident, has agreed for the UN to send in chemical inspectors to determine the substance used and the method of delivery. However, Washington has declared that it is “too late” for UN inspectors and that Washington accepts the self-serving claim of the al Qaeda affiliated “rebels” that the Syrian government attacked civilians with chemical weapons.
http://news.antiwar.com/2013/08/25/obama-administration-accepts-rebels-account-on-syria-prepares-for-war/ See also http://news.antiwar.com/2013/08/25/syria-accepts-un-inspectors-us-spurns-call-as-too-late/

In an attempt to prevent the UN chemical inspectors who arrived on the scene from doing their work, the inspectors were fired upon by snipers in “rebel” held territory and forced off site, although a later report from RT says the inspectors have returned to the site to conduct their inspection. http://rt.com/news/un-chemical-oservers-shot-000/

The corrupt British government has declared that Syria can be attacked without UN authorization, just as Serbia and Libya were militarily attacked without UN authorization. In other words, the Western democracies have already established precedents for violating international law. “International law? We don’t need no stinking international law!” The West knows only one rule: Might is Right. As long as the West has the Might, the West has the Right.

In a response to the news report that the US, UK, and France are preparing to attack Syria, the Russian Foreign Minister, Lavrov, said that such unilateral action is a “severe violation of international law,” and that the violation was not only a legal one but also an ethical and moral violation. Lavrov referred to the lies and deception used by the West to justify its grave violations of international law in military attacks on Serbia, Iraq, and Libya and how the US government used preemptive moves to undermine every hope for peaceful settlements in Iraq, Libya, and Syria.

Once again Washington has preempted any hope of peaceful settlement. By announcing the forthcoming attack, the US destroyed any incentive for the “rebels” to participate in the peace talks with the Syrian government. On the verge of these talks taking place, the “rebels” now have no incentive to participate as the West’s military is coming to their aid.

In his press conference Lavrov spoke of how the ruling parties in the US, UK, and France stir up emotions among poorly informed people that, once aroused, have to be satisfied by war. This, of course, is the way the US manipulated the public in order to attack Afghanistan and Iraq. But the American public is tired of the wars, the goal of which is never made clear, and has grown suspicious of the government’s justifications for more wars.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll finds that “Americans strongly oppose U.S. intervention in Syria’s civil war and believe Washington should stay out of the conflict even if reports that Syria’s government used deadly chemicals to attack civilians are confirmed.” http://news.yahoo.com/syria-war-escalates-americans-cool-u-intervention-reuters-003146054.html However, Obama could not care less that only 9 percent of the public supports his warmongering. As former president Jimmy Carter recently stated, “America has no functioning democracy.”
http://rt.com/usa/carter-comment-nsa-snowden-261/ It has a police state in which the executive branch has placed itself above all law and the Constitution.

This police state is now going to commit yet another Nazi-style war crime of unprovoked aggression. At Nuremberg the Nazis were sentenced to death for precisely the identical actions being committed by Obama, Cameron, and Hollande. The West is banking on might, not right, to keep it out of the criminal dock.

The US, UK, and French governments have not explained why it matters whether people in the wars initiated by the West are killed by explosives made of depleted uranium or with chemical agents or any other weapon. It was obvious from the beginning that Obama was setting up the Syrian government for attack. Obama demonized chemical weapons–but not nuclear “bunker busters” that the US might use on Iran. Then Obama drew a red line, saying that the use of chemical weapons by the Syrians was such a great crime that the West would be obliged to attack Syria. Washington’s UK puppets, William Hague and Cameron, have just repeated this nonsensical claim.
http://rt.com/news/uk-response-without-un-backing-979/ The final step in the frame-up was to orchestrate a chemical incident and blame the Syrian government.

What is the West’s real agenda? This is the unasked and unanswered question. Clearly, the US, UK, and French governments, which have displayed continuously their support for dictatorial regimes that serve their purposes, are not the least disturbed by dictatorships. They brand Assad a dictator as a means of demonizing him for the ill-informed Western masses. But Washington, UK, and France support any number of dictatorial regimes, such as the ones in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and now the military dictatorship in Egypt that is ruthlessly killing Egyptians without any Western government speaking of invading Egypt for “killing its own people.”

Clearly also, the forthcoming Western attack on Syria has nothing whatsoever to do with bringing “freedom and democracy” to Syria any more than freedom and democracy were reasons for the attacks on Iraq and Libya, neither of which gained any “freedom and democracy.”

The Western attack on Syria is unrelated to human rights, justice or any of the high sounding causes with which the West cloaks its criminality.

The Western media, and least of all the American presstitutes, never ask Obama, Cameron, or Hollande what the real agenda is. It is difficult to believe than any reporter is sufficiently stupid or gullible to believe that the agenda is bringing “freedom and democracy” to Syria or punishing Assad for allegedly using chemical weapons against murderous thugs trying to overthrow the Syrian government.

Of course, the question wouldn’t be answered if asked. But the act of asking it would help make the public aware that more is afoot than meets the eye. Originally, the excuse for Washington’s wars was to keep Americans safe from terrorists. Now Washington is endeavoring to turn Syria over to jihad terrorists by helping them to overthrow the secular, non-terrorist Assad government. What is the agenda behind Washington’s support of terrorism?

Perhaps the purpose of the wars is to radicalize Muslims and, thereby, destabilize Russia and even China. Russia has large populations of Muslims and is bordered by Muslim countries. Even China has some Muslim population. As radicalization spreads strife into the only two countries capable of being an obstacle to Washington’s world hegemony, Western media propaganda and the large number of US financed NGOs, posing as “human rights” organizations, can be counted on by Washington to demonize the Russian and Chinese governments for harsh measures against “rebels.”

Another advantage of the radicalization of Muslims is that it leaves former Muslim countries in long-term turmoil or civil wars, as is currently the case in Iraq and Libya, thus removing any organized state power from obstructing Israeli purposes.

Secretary of State John Kerry is working the phones using bribes and threats to build acceptance, if not support, for Washington’s war crime-in-the-making against Syria.

Washington is driving the world closer to nuclear war than it ever was even in the most dangerous periods of the Cold War. When Washington finishes with Syria, the next target is Iran. Russia and China will no longer be able to fool themselves that there is any system of international law or restraint on Western criminality. Western aggression is already forcing both countries to develop their strategic nuclear forces and to curtail the Western-financed NGOs that pose as “human rights organizations,” but in reality comprise a fifth column that Washington can use to destroy the legitimacy of the Russian and Chinese governments.

Russia and China have been extremely careless in their dealings with the United States. Essentially, the Russian political opposition is financed by Washington. Even the Chinese government is being undermined. When a US corporation opens a company in China, it creates a Chinese board on which are put relatives of the local political authorities. These boards create a conduit for payments that influence the decisions and loyalties of local and regional party members. The US has penetrated Chinese universities and intellectual attitudes. The Rockefeller University is active in China as is Rockefeller philanthropy. Dissenting voices are being created that are arrayed against the Chinese government. Demands for “liberalization” can resurrect regional and ethnic differences and undermine the cohesiveness of the national government.

Once Russia and China realize that they are riven with American fifth columns, isolated diplomatically, and outgunned militarily, nuclear weapons become the only guarantor of their sovereignty. This suggests that nuclear war is likely to terminate humanity well before humanity succumbs to global warming or rising national debts.

AND ABOUT THIS CHEMICAL ATTACK PURPORTEDLY CARRIED OUT BY THE ASSAD GOVERNMENT:

1.Why did the attack coincide with the arrival of U.N. weapons inspectors and no rebels were killed?

You would think if Assad's forces was using it, they would aim to kill rebels - first and foremost and

civilian would be collateral damage.

2. Furthermore, you would think the Syrian army would have advanced and taken control of that area - given the

fact that they had supposedly fired chemical weapons into that area.

So why are the "rebels" still in control of that area?

Surely if you are an army commander who has just gassed the area of combatants and civilians, you would order

your men to go clear the area of any remaining resistance.

3. Lastly, what is the strategic importance of that area, that drove the Syrian army to resort to desperate

measures like using chemical weapons. The Syrian army was already making considerable gains against the

"rebels" in a conventional manner so why the sudden need to use chemical weapons?

As a matter of fact, it is the "rebels" themselves that have been caught manufacturing and using chemical

weapons and when a similar but smaller attack was carried out in Aleppo, a leading UN Investigator voiced his

suspicions that the "rebels" most likely were behind the attacks based on the accounts of the victims he spoke

to. Below are all the stories in case you missed it:

It makes absolutely no sense, whatsoever, for Assad to use chemical weapons. He has the least to gain and the

most to lose.

Same thing I have been suggesting for years. Good to know that many others are using their thinking faculties well but sad to see that a majority of us are bereft of sound reasoning and quick to praise any project that is done in the name of religion forgetting to ask the relevance of it all. How does building an auditorium "to worship God" help the country keep pace with the rest of the world, find cure to deceases, empower youths or make our country (I wouldn't say nation cos we ain't one) an economic powerhoue?? We are they lands for farming, research facilities, factories, etc but we rather build more and more churches as if that is the medicine Nigeria needs to get itself out of this mess.

So I picked up the car yesterday. You wouldn't believe that Kia fixed the axle coupling which would have costed in excess of N400k for free. We only paid for the rear wheel bearing and other reoccurring service works such as the break pads! I am not sure if it's the letter from CPC that got to them or if they may have received authrorization from Korea to go ahead with the change. I guess it's a well known manufacturers defect which Kia Korea would gladly change for free but the fellas at Kia Nigeria see it as an opportunity to fleece unsuspecting customers. Thank God it is over though..
One thing I have learnt though: gra gra will get you by in this country where injustice and mediocrity reigns supreme.

AutosRe: Warning..do Not Buy A Kia Car Or Repair Your Car At Germaine Autos!! by Underground(op): 10:05am On Mar 29, 2013
So this is the update so far:
I called Ngozika Obidike of the Consumer Protection Council and I must say those guys are not organized or structured in any manner. They do not have a central line that you can call except Obidike's mobile number which sometimes is even switched off. I had escalated this issue to her since Monday 25th and even sent a mail but still yet, no action has been taken. It will surprise you to know that their email address is actually a yahoo address: cpc.lagos@yahoo.co.uk. Also Obidike claimed not to see my mail until Wednesday by which time I had resent the mail several times.Very disappointing indeed!! I again called her yesterday and she feigned surprise that none of her "agents" has called me back to take up the matter. I complained that their pace is too slow and that the following day- today- was a public holiday and that from the look of things, nothing,if ever, will happen until next week at the earliest. She told me not to worry and that they know what they are doing.... Abeg, does anyone here know anyone at CPC personally that can be talked to so that they take this matter seriously??

STAR FM: Let me not even go into that much cos I have been calling that number Chiebube provided and yet no one picks it up!!

Anyway, my lawyer is going to write Kia a letter this coming week. I was hoping that a three pronged attack which included the other options would put pressure on these guys to show them how serious i am and that i would not stand for their cheating. It pains me so much that we do not enjoy enough protection from the government and when stuff like this happens, there are not enough right organizations where we can seek redress.

I really want to handle Kia the way they deserve to be handled and put a stop to this nonsense! Just how can I company claim some damage, i then tell them to hold on, that their partner company is going to take responsibility for this claimed damage but they still go ahead and fix this claimed damage on their own without permission. That is entrapment and day light robbery as far as i am concerned!!! How can this get to the frontpage cos I want to make as much noise as possible and put this in public light.

oadah: Seriously those are the worst cars I wouldn't wish my enemy..
I got a Kia soul as a wedding gift and I totally agree with you on the shabby treatment I recieve for the exorbitant cost on minor issues coupled with the shabby treatment at Germaine.

Last year i was with a colleague who had a similar issue but his was a Kia optima 2010 purchased i 2011 and has issues on the the gear box and the vijay of a guy told him he is not under warranty (car under 45000km) and they asked him to pay over 400k for a new gear box, my colleague shouted and was beginning to attract attention they they suddenly changed their. Mind and replaced it free.

Like you said and i agree with you those Indians have succeeded In Taking a lot of Nigerians for a ride and they think they can do it with everybody, These have to stop.
Just imagine what you need to do to get these bastards to do the right thing. In fact, I am emboldened more than ever to get this thing resolved. Like I said before, I see this as a fight for all Nigerians that are being exploited by these criminals.

Thanks guys for all the support and info. Much appreciated!
AutosRe: Warning..do Not Buy A Kia Car Or Repair Your Car At Germaine Autos!! by Underground(op): 10:43pm On Mar 22, 2013
Thanks page 9. I have already briefed my lawyer and he is taking it up with them. My grouse isn't with the bill they are issuing but with the fact that they are trying to play a fast one on me and that they have obviously pulled this stunt on so many unsuspecting Nigerians and gotten away with it. I really want to put a stop to this nonsense and see to it that standards, from the quality of products imported into this country to the customer care we receive, is improved. Perhaps, you could also provide me with Star FMs number. I intend to create as much publicity as possible.
Germaine in particular has a history of poor service to customers. I have had an unpleasant experience with them with my Toyota in the past and several people I talked to had only negative things to say about them. The only reason we serviced the Kia at Germaine was because they were the only recommended accredited service shop within the area we live.

Naturally, I wouldn't buy a Kia or Hyundai but my wife desperately needed a new car then and the car fell into the range of what could be afforded immediately.
AutosWarning..do Not Buy A Kia Car Or Repair Your Car At Germaine Autos!! by Underground(op):
About a year after I bought my wife’s Kia 2009 Sportage 2.0L from Dana Motors on the 4th of Jan 2010, it developed a so-called rear axle fault and due to the car being under warranty, we took it back to Germaine Motors; Dana Motors’ accredited repair shop. This fault was supposedly fixed and everything seemed fine until I discovered the re-emergence of the fault again this past February 2013. Once again we took the car to Germaine Motors on the 23rd of February for repair but since it was just about a month out of warranty, they advised that we took the car to Kia Motors themselves for repair; that repair at their shop may cost up to N500,000.00 and also that that quite a number of these models of Kia Sportage had this re-occurring fault . Germaine mentioned that as a matter of fact, some cars had been returned up to 4 times for repair due to this fault. Please note that while the car was at Germaine we also decided to carry out the routine maintenance service.

On the 8th of March 2013, I, in the company of my wife drove the car down to Kia Motors. On our way there we were shocked to find out that the car that had just been serviced at Germaine Motors was seriously seizing and threatening to switch off. We however managed to get it down to Kia Motors safely. At Kia, we explained to the service manager, Vijay the history with this so-called axle problem and the refusal of Germaine to repair the car. He promised to look into the matter and come up with a solution. We also mentioned the seizing we observed on our way down to the technician on duty , Mr Kingsley Uka.

On Monday 11th of March 2013, I received a call from Kingsley Uka claiming that the rear wheel axle isn’t the faulty part but the rear wheel bearing actually was. When asked if our warranty still applied, he made a bizarre statement that for this particular fault, warranty expired after 40,000km. It should interest you to note that this car in question is just 45,000 km and that the warranty agreement stipulates a 3 year period or 100,000Km for coverage. Mr Kingsley Uka had conveniently stated 40,000km as the warranty expiration mileage. Very fraudulent of him indeed!
He went on to claim that the reason for the seizure was because water - probably while the engine was being washed by Germaine - had entered the engine and that the spark plugs, spark plugs cable assembly amongst other things would need to be changed. I immediately called his boss, Vijay and after much arguing, I succumbed to his stance that warranty wasn’t covered any longer and that I would pay for the repair of the rear wheel bearing at a spare part cost of N35,000.00. The total bill estimate for the repair of the car, including the damage attributed to Germaine Motors carelessness together with Kia’s labour charges, amounted to N127,000. 00. This was the state of things as of 11th of March 2013 and since Kia Motors repeatedly failed to send the bill estimate via mail to either my email or that of my wife’s over a 9 day period, I had my staff go over to their office and pick the estimate up on 20th Mar 2013 which I subsequently presented to Germaine Motors on the 21st of Mar 2013 as proof of claims of damage made by Kia against Germaine. The business manager, Mr Johnson, at Germaine Motors offered to take responsibility for the part of the bill that concerns them and was ready to send his mechanic down to Kia Motors to confirm any claims of damage as a result of negligence on their part.

Since Germaine Motors indicated their readiness to fix the damage claimed by Kia Motors, I asked Kia Motors to go ahead with the repair of the rear wheel bearing only. This saga however took a new turn that same day, when Mr Kinsgley Uka of Kia Motors - after granting him the go ahead to repair the rear wheel bearing and after he had been informed that Germaine will fix the remaining faults, called me to inform me that a mistake was done on the estimate and the right cost for a spare rear wheel bearing was N75, 000.00 not N35, 000.00!!!! I immediately asked him to desist from working on the car as this sudden hike in price after go ahead had just been given - and after over a week of charging a much lower cost - indicated entrapment and a ploy to squeeze more money out of me seeing that Germaine Motors was ready to handle repairs to the other damages claimed by Kia. Things got stranger when Mr Johnson of Germaine motors called me complaining that his mechanic had been to Kia motors this morning but was refused access to the car because Kia Motors claimed they had repaired the damage they claim was done by Germaine Motors but bizarrely left out the repair of the rear wheel bearing that they were asked to repair (before the price hike) in the first place. Mr Kingsley Uka of Kia Motors also insisted that cars are not brought into their yard without some sort of bill being paid and that their charges for the repair of damage caused by Germaine Motors Is N59,000.00

Any sensible human being will marvel at the absurdity of the manner in which Kia Motors and Germaine Motors have conducted themselves. It is rather sad that the shenanigans and ploys you would expect to face when dealing with a road side mechanic is what I am unfortunately facing with the these so-called “reputable and professional” companies. I seek redress for the inconvenience and stress I have been made to endure and for the immediate repair of my car and its return in good working condition!
Nairaland GeneralNGOs, Think-tanks And 21st Century Imperialism Explained by Underground(op):
This message is lengthy but provides a good insight into the inner workings of NGOs; the guises under which they operate; the myriad of greedy, shady and intertwined corporate financiers and bodies that sponsor them and how these "non-governmental organizations" are in the forefront in the execution of modern day imperialism.

These NGOs and "think-tanks" claim to be "pro-democracy", "pro-open society", "pro-transparency", "pro-humanitarian", "pro-human rights", "pro-progress" and pro any positive, progressive word that you can think of in the English dictionary. You will learn from this weeks message that these NGOs and think-tanks are not always there for altruistic reasons but are primarily pursuing and enforcing the interests of the governments, corporate bodies and globalists that they really serve.

No; in the 21st century, there will be no invading armies mass murdering the local population, plundering the resources and treasures and shipping them off to the kingdom's capital. In the 21st century, there is a less conspicuous and less expensive way to succeed in a campaign of hegemony and sovereign subversion - NGOs and "non-profit" think-tanks

In many cases, these think-tanks not elected public office holders draft the foreign policies and global strategies that governments execute. Also several members of these think-tanks hold dual positions on their boards and in key government offices to enable smooth implementation of policies. Individuals such as Shimon Peres, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Shlomo Ben-Ami and Mohamed ElBaradei for example sit as members of the International Crisis Group while serving in public office.

For an understanding on why America is shifting its military focus and strength to the Asia pacific region and seeking to re-activate military bases and build new ones in that region, look no further than the papers prepared by The Brookings Institution and the Strategic Studies Institute -

It should then come as no surprise that prominent members of the movement- the so-called "Syrian opposition," including Radwan Ziadeh, is actually a "senior fellow" of the US-funded institution - USIP (the US Institute for Peace) meaning the opposition leaders were drawn from US institutions, not Syria. In Africa, for anyone that isn't aware yet, the true reason AFRICOM is hunting down Kony and seeking to establish a firm foothold in Africa is cos of the vast mineral resources that lie in the central African regions together with the recently discovered vast oil reserves - possibly the largest ever in in-land Africa - in Uganda and South Sudan. Joseph Kony just served as the perfect bogeyman to be used as a pretext to demonstrate just how "needed" , "useful" and "humanitarian" AFRICOM is. Makes you wonder where AFRICOM was when Kony and countless other warlords were kidnapping and butchering people several years ago. Invisible Children has done all the ground work; it is now left for AFRICOM and the globalists to follow through with. Obama has after all been quoted as saying that the deployment of AFRICOM in Uganda and Central Africa "is in the national security and foreign policy interests of the United States....The deployment was consistent with the War Powers Act." Back home in Nigeria, former employees of Goldman Sachs, the IMF and World Bank populate the present administration's cabinet drawing up policies that are very unpopular at home but of benefit to our creditors e.g. the economic reforms; the establishment of a SWF which could possibly be absorbed by foreign powers should Nigeria default on re-payment of IMF and World Bank loans; the fuel subsidy removal saga; the allocation of a shady refinery contract to a shady organization overseen by the Minister of Trade and Investment who just happens to be a former employee of Goldman Sachs; and so on... Empire's Double Edged Sword: Global Military + NGOs

Tearing down sovereign nations & replacing them with global system administrators.
by Tony Cartalucci

Part 1: Imperialism is Alive and Well

February 18, 2012 - The British Empire didn't just have a fleet that projected its hegemonic will across the planet, it possessed financial networks to consolidate global economic power, and system administrators to ensure the endless efficient flow of resources from distant lands back to London and into the pockets of England's monied elite. It was a well oiled machine, refined by centuries of experience.

While every schoolchild learns about the British Empire, it seems a common modern-day political malady for adults to believe that reality is organized as their history books were in school - in neat well defined chapters. This leads to the common misconception that the age of imperialism is somehow a closed-chapter in human history. Unfortunately, this is far from the truth. Imperialism did not go extinct. It simply evolved.

Imperialism is alive & well.

There are several pertinent examples illustrating how imperialism is still alive and well, and only cleverly disguised with updated nomenclatures. What we know today as "free trade" actually derives its origins from economic concessions the British frequently extorted from nations under its "gunboat diplomacy" strategy - that is, anchoring gunboats off the coast of a foreign capital, and threatening bombardment and military conquest if certain demands were not met.
https://i482.photobucket.com/albums/rr188/cunchor/AsiaColonization_map_01.jpg
Colonial Southeast Asia circa 1850's. Thailand/Siam
was never colonized but made many concessions.

In the mid-1800's, Thailand, then the Kingdom of Siam, was surrounded on all sides by colonized nations and in turn was made to concede to the British 1855 Bowring Treaty . See how many of these "gunboat policy" imposed concessions sound like today's "economic liberalization:"

1. Siam granted extraterritoriality to British subjects.
2. British could trade freely in all seaports and reside permanently in Bangkok.
3. British could buy and rent property in Bangkok.
4. British subjects could travel freely in the interior with passes provided by the consul.
5. Import and export duties were capped at 3%, except the duty-free opium and bullion.
6. British merchants were to be allowed to buy and sell directly with individual Siamese.

A more contemporary example would be the outright military conquest of Iraq and Paul Bremer's (CFR) http://www.cfr.org/about/membership/roster.html?letter=Beconomic reformation of the broken state. The Economist enumerates http://www.economist.com/node/2092719the neo-colonial "economic liberalization" of Iraq in a piece titled "Let's all go to the yard sale: If it all works out, Iraq will be a capitalist's dream:"

1. 100% ownership of Iraqi assets.
2. Full repatriation of profits.
3. Equal legal standing with local firms.
4. Foreign banks allowed to operate or buy into local banks.
5. Income and corporate taxes capped at 15%.
6. Universal tariffs slashed to 5%.

Nomenclatures aside, nothing has changed since 1855 as far as imperialist "wish-lists" go. The Economist argued, as would any 18-19th century imperialist, that Iraq needed foreign expertise to catch up, justifying the evisceration of their national sovereignty and the foreign stewardship (theft) of their resources. Unlike Siam, Iraq refused to concede to the "gunboats" of modern-day Wall Street & London, and often as the British did during the "glory days" of the empire, they made good on their threats.
https://i482.photobucket.com/albums/rr188/cunchor/ZuluWar_Dfense_de_Rorkes_Drift.jpg
Image: The Anglo-Zulu War. Causus belli - diamonds & imperial expansion.
....

And just as the British did when they found diamonds beneath Zululand during the late-1800's, spurring them to invent a causus belli to justify the destruction of the Zulu Kingdom, the schemers of modern-day global imperialism likewise invented a dubious pretext to invade Iraq before commencing its plunderinghttp://landdestroyer..com/2011/12/iraq-invasion-ends-neo-colonial-rule.html.

https://i482.photobucket.com/albums/rr188/cunchor/ZuluWarBurningOfUlundi.jpg
Image: Anglo-Zulu War. Mission accomplished. The city of Ulandi burns and the British go about dividing Zululand into 14 chiefdoms led by compliant, obedient proxies. The British took great care to cultivate rivalries between the 14 chiefdoms to ensure they would never again unite and challenge British hegemonic ambitions throughout the region.
....

At the conclusion of the Anglo-Zulu War, the British despoiled Zululand, divided it into 14 separate cheifdoms, each led by a proxy obedient to the British Empire. The British ensured that these 14 cheifdoms harbored animosities toward one another and fostered petty infighting between them to ensure British interests would never again be challenged by a unified Zulu threat. Today we see what seems to be the "accidental" consequences of military interventions leadeing to vicious, protracted fighting and in some cases civil wars, in Iraq, now in Libya (which also had a direct proxy installed as PMhttp://landdestroyer..com/2011/11/new-libyan-pm-big-oil-goon.html), Pakistanhttp://landdestroyer..com/2011/04/carving-up-pakistan.html where plans exist to literally carve up the nation Zululand-style, and Syria. These are not accidental but intentional. Divide and conquer is a classic military stratagem that has not escaped the interests and attention of Wall Street & London.

....

If people can study history and see today's events are simply the relabeled repeating of what empire has been doing for centuries, the public as a whole will be less likely to go along with what is in reality an exploitative, murderous crime spree of global proportions - merely sold to us as justified intervention. One need only look at how Iraq has been despoiled and the profits that have been garnered by Fortune 500 corporations, while soldiers and Iraqis alike pay the price with their minds, bodies, blood, futile destinies, and lives.

Part II: British Imperial Administration (proto-NGOs)

A book of invaluable use in understanding British imperial administration is "Colonial Georgia: A Study in British Imperial Policy in the Eighteenth Century.http://dlg.galileo.usg.edu/ugapressbks/pdfs/ugp9780820335537.pdf" Published by the University of Georgia Press and written by Trevor Reese, it successfully endeavored to illustrate "practically every facet of British colonial policy" using Georgia as a case study.

The colony of Georgia, in what is now the southern United States, was founded by what is essentially a proto-NGO - and in this case an organization dedicated to "prison reform." What it really did, was assess suitable prisoners in London who could be sent to Georgia to fulfill the needs of the Crown. Beginning as the "Associates of Dr. Bray" and later becoming the "Trustees for the Establishment of the Colony of Georgia in America," or simply the Georgia Trustees, it encapsulates perfectly the use of noble-intentioned networkers to exploit human tragedy for the benefit of the elite.

https://i482.photobucket.com/albums/rr188/cunchor/GeorgiaTrustees.jpg

Image:
One face of the Georgia Trustee's seal. It featured the Latin motto, "Non Sibi Sed Aliis" which means, "Not for self, but for others." Truly a proto-NGO, a "system administrator." The significance of the mulberry leaf, the silkworm, and the cocoon? The silk that Britain's new colony of Georgia was going to export to London to enrich the empire. "For others" indeed.
....

While many may argue that prisoners in London were better off being shipped to Georgia, the underlying point is the dictation of one's destiny for the benefit of another, regardless of whether or not such exploitation results in a thriving new life in Georgia, or death defending British expansion in the New World. The same cost/benefit analysis could also be made for slavery, but done so in spite of its essential immorality.

Protestantism for England was also a precursor to modern day NGOs. Religious denominations were divided directly along political lines in 18th century Europe, and when shiploads of Protestants were sent to Georgia, so followed the political networks they represented. Again, noble-intentions were, and to this day are, in the forefront of many devoted to these political functionaries, and much good has been done in their names, but ultimately the purpose of each empire's church was to establish a bottom-up network of people who believed they were fulfilling noble, higher intentions, when in reality they were simply serving the elite of their respective empires. Unfortunately, despite the noble intentions and great works of many of these people, when the time came for the Crown to use these networks for less than noble causes, organizational indoctrination was used to marshal men to it. And just like modern NGOs today, Protestant organizations interfaced with and supported directly the primary regional administrators, in Georgia's case, the Georgia Trustees.

In Reese's book, he even notes on page 21, "in sanctioning the Georgia project the British Government was not motivated by any such charitable intentions as inspired the Trustees. The Ministry was not much interested in the plight of insolvent and unemployed debtors, but it was concerned about the defense of the empire." Similarly today, NGOs have truly dedicated people "inspired" as the "Trustees" were, but ultimately they are carrying water for their sponsors, who almost always end up being George Soros, the OCED, the US State Department's National Endowment for Democracy, and other purveyors of global corporate-fascist imperialism.

The British Empire's interests in Georgia were economic, while the rouse used to fill and administer the colony was altruistic. Another key characteristic to imperialism is keeping subjects dependent. Reese offers on page 27, "the danger of these [private or charter provinces] lay in the scope they provided for the construction of independent authorities, and this was contradictory to the whole principle of colonization."

This, within the contest of mercantilism - essentially the exportation of raw materials from the colonies, which would be refined in Europe, and then imported back into the colonies as manufactured goods - meant servile dependency, both politically and economically - despite the fact that even then, many features of "democracy" could be found throughout the colonies. Today's concept of "free-trade" agreements ensure that resources, manufacturing, refinement, and consumption are equally interdependent on a global scale despite the fact that technology now exists to make any state or province, let alone nation, fully independent economically.

https://i482.photobucket.com/albums/rr188/cunchor/BoardOfTrade.jpg
Image: Despite the good intentions, the religious causes, and loyalty to the crown, the ultimate destination of all these good intentions wrought was the "Board of Trade" which managed the unending flow of wealth out of Britain's colonies and into London.
....

Like NGOs of today, the administrative networks that made up the British Empire were in many cases entirely dependent on grants from London, as local contributions were almost never adequate. Reese notes on page 39, "constant need of money made the Trustees permanently dependent on Parliament, without whose support their colony could not be maintained." The British Empire maintained a careful balancing act to ensure that its networks received enough resources to fulfill their purpose, but never enough to become independent. Financial policy conformed to imperial standards and while local policy was set by local administrators, it interlocked with the Board of Trade back in London - just as local NGOs now interlock with international organizations in accordance to rule and norms defined by international institutions.

Reese quotes Vincent Harlow in his epilogue, who said of Georgia's eventual independence from Great Britain, "men's minds indeed conceive new thoughts and plan new projects, but out of ancient thinking and under potent influence of long-established characteristics."

Part III: Re-imagining Imperialism for the 21st Century

We have already seen some examples of how imperialism is very much alive and well. We also saw how imperialism was implemented by the British, but how exactly is it being implemented today? And why are people willingly going along with it?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3xlb6_0OEs&feature=player_embedded
Video: Thomas Barnett describes the building of an army of "system administrators" (aka civil society) to expand into "peace spaces" while US global military conquers "battle spaces." Soros' Revenue Watch along with the National Endowment for Democracy have created just such an army of NGOs. And just as soldiers witlessly promote imperialism believing they are fighting for "freedom," these NGOs expand Wall Street and London's global hegemony, believing they are promoting "human rights."
....

The term "system administrators" was used by US military strategist Thomas Barnett before a cackling audience at a 2008 TED Talk titled, "The Pentagon's New Map for War & Peacewww.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=d3xlb6_0OEs." At about 18 minuteshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3xlb6_0OEs&feature=youtu.be into his talk he begins explaining a concept of reforming the military into two separate forces, the "US enabled Leviathan force" and the "system administrators."

One takes down the existing networks of targeted nations through air campaigns, special operations, or invasions, and consists of military assets including armor, fighters and bombers. The other consists of system administrators who then build upon the ashes left by the "Leviathan force" or the chaos sown by a foreign-backed destabilization. The system administrators consist of everything from NGOs, international organizations, and contractors, to civil affairs officers (psychological warfare), and when necessary, soldiers and Marines.

Barnett warns that if anyone attempts to interfere with the construction of the West's "system administrator" networks, the "Marines are going to come over and kill you." This perhaps like British garrisons did to tamp down dissatisfaction amongst their colonies.

https://i482.photobucket.com/albums/rr188/cunchor/RedCoatsBostonMassacre.jpg
Image: The Boston Massacre. Resistors to the "system administrators" beware, try to stop them and "the Marines are going to come over and kill you."
....

The talk was given in 2008, and already we see solid steps being taking to expand and utilize just such a force. Barnett said of the special operations "trigger pullers" that he wanted the rules to be "as loose as possible." Just recently, the Corbett Reporthttp://www.corbettreport.com/new-world-next-week-20120216/ and Media Monarchy reported the expanded role proposed for "elite" military forces.http://mediamonarchy..com/2012/02/expanded-role-proposed-for-elite.html?m=1 Admiral William McRaven of Special Operations Command was said to be seeking "more autonomy to position his forces and their war-fighting equipment where intelligence and global events indicate they are most needed."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHAQUxtnHAk
Video: Special Operations Command is looking for more "autonomy" in deploying where "intelligence and global events indicate they are most needed." This "loosening of rules" was part of building the double edged sword of neo-imperial conquest, the global army & system administrators.
....

Additionally, between 2008 and 2011 before the outbreak of the Arab Spring, the US State Department and its network of global facilitators embarked on a campaign to raise a literal army of NGOs and opposition groups to begin overthrowing governments and building the very global administration network Barnett presented at TED. It was just recently reported in, "Soros Big-Business Accountability Project Funded by Big-Business" http://landdestroyer..com/2012/02/soros-big-business-accountability.html that a similar army of NGOs is being mobilized to erect system administrators focused on managing the resources of targeted nations. Called Revenue Watch, and focused primarily on Africa and Southeast Asia it represents the "system administration" approach complimenting aggressive moves made by AFRICOM in Africahttp://landdestroyer..com/2012/01/nigeria-next-front-for-africom.html, and the declaration of America's "Pacific Century" in Asiahttp://landdestroyer..com/2011/11/hillary-clinton-and-new-american.html.

It is quite clear that Barnett's proposal doesn't necessarily need the "US-enabled Leviathan force" to tear down targeted networks as seen in the US-funded Arab Springhttp://landdestroyer..com/2011/12/2011-year-of-dupe.html. Fomenting unrest, up to and including armed insurrection falls short of overt military intervention and utilizes assets Barrent descibed in the Levithan force such as "trigger pulling" special operations, as well as civil affairs units, NGOs, and contractors from the system administration side.

In Libya for example, NGOs and civil affairs advisers began the unrest in February of 2011 while weapons were covertly moved in to arm fighters to overthrow the Qaddafi government. International organizations like the ICC were used to poison public opinion against the Libyan government using information supplied to them from NGOs, while NATO began preparing for a full scale air campaign. Once the bombing began, it was only a matter of incrementally increasing the torrent of special operations forces, arms, and other facilitators to fill in the void left by NATO's relentless air campaign. Thus the forces of Leviathan and the system administrators worked in tandem, one clearing a path through the old, the other building new networks to facilitate the installment of long-time US resident and Petroleum Institute chairman, Abdurrahim el-Keib, as PM http://landdestroyer..com/2011/11/new-libyan-pm-big-oil-goon.html.

In nations where military options like this are not an option and would be difficult if not impossible to ever justify, like Thailand for example, the full weight of Wall Street and London's support is thrown behind system administrators and suitable opposition movements that will make appropriate proxies if the targeted sovereign networks can be torn down.

In Thailand's case, that proxy is Thaksin Shinawatra, a former Carlyle Grouphttp://thanong.tripod.com/03072001.htm adviser, and recipient of extensive US backing, including lobbying services from fellow Carlyle member James Bakerhttp://www.asiamedia.ucla.edu/article.asp?parentid=63277 and his firm Baker Bottshttp://disclosures.house.gov/ld/pdfform.aspx?id=200059128, Bush's personal envoy to Iraq Robert Blackwillhttp://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/29/washington/29blackwill.html?_r=3&adxnnl=1&oref=login&pagewanted=print&adxnnlx=1194092186-oD/P7hK9sBgiXh7U96GOBA of Barbour Griffith http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/29/washington/29blackwill.html?_r=3&adxnnl=1&oref=login&pagewanted=print&adxnnlx=1194092186-oD/P7hK9sBgiXh7U96GOBA& Rogers, and PNAC signatory Kenneth Adelmanwww.crisisgroup.org/en/about/board.aspx of Edelmanhttp://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Edelman. During Thaksin's term in office from 2001 until a coup ousted him in 2006, upon the eve of which he was literally reporting to the Council on Foreign Relationshttp://www.cfr.org/thailand/conversation-thaksin-shinawatra-prime-minister-thailand-rush-transcript-federal-news-service-inc/p11482 in New York, he had committed Thai troops to the US invasion of Iraqhttp://www.nationmultimedia.com/home/THAKSIN-VOWS-Troops-will-stay-in-Iraq-91151.html and allowed the CIA to use Thailand for its abhorrent rendition programhttp://www.atimes.com/atimes/Southeast_Asia/JA25Ae01.html.

He now currently leads the forces of a "color revolution," the stand-ins for Barnett's occupation force, since such a Western force is untenable. This included his documented use of armed militants in 2010http://landdestroyer..com/2011/12/mainstream-propagandists-tale-of.html during an attempted insurrection. They are billed the "red shirts" or United Front for Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD) and have met withhttp://landdestroyer..com/2011/08/confirmed-thailands-pro-democracy.html Soros' Open Society-funded Human Rights Watch, the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI), National Endowment for Democracy (NED), and the U.S.–ASEAN Business Council in an April 2011 Washington D.C. visit.

https://i482.photobucket.com/albums/rr188/cunchor/Globatocracy_1-1.jpg
LinkImage: It is clear that NGOs and opposition movements many believe are spontaneous, indigenous, and independent are in fact part of a larger network for the sole purpose of imposing and maintaining global system administration. This is not a web of elaborate, vague associations. In each case there is direct path of funding leading back to Western foundations and the think-tankshttp://landdestroyer..com/2011/03/naming-names-your-real-government.html that devise policy for them, all funded and chaired by the Fortune 500 of Wall Street and London.
....

There are also circles of academia being produced to support efforts to undermine and overthrow Thailand's sovereign indigenous networks, most notably "Nitirat" or the "Enlightened Jurists" whose audiences consist almost entirely of Thaksin's red shirts, and even included Thaksin's US registered lobbyist, Robert Amsterdam http://landdestroyer..com/2012/01/globalist-lawyer-attends-color.htmlsitting in the front row.

Finally there are the NGOs like propaganda outfit Prachatai http://landdestroyer..com/2011/08/exposed-indy-newspaper-funded-by-us.html, which receives 1oo's of thousands of dollars a year from the US State Department via the National Endowment for Democracy, George Soros' Open Society, and USAID. NED also fundshttp://www.ned.org/where-we-work/asia/thailand the Campaign Committee for Human Rights, the Cross Cultural Foundation (CrCF), and the Environmental Litigation and Advocacy for the Wants. In addition to sharing the same foreign sponsors, each cross-posts the other's work, each signs petitions on the others behalf and each perpetuate identical agendas. While their mission statements claim to promote "freedom," "democracy," and "human rights," one cannot help but wonder how they reconcile the backgrounds of their sponsors and the "international" organizations they interlock with, with the causes they allegedly promote, with the work they actually carry out.

https://i482.photobucket.com/albums/rr188/cunchor/PrachataiNEDfundingDiagram_1-1.jpg
Image: Clearly there are "strings attached" to NGO Prachatai's fundinghttp://landdestroyer..com/2011/08/exposed-indy-newspaper-funded-by-us.html from the National Endowment for Democracy and Freedom House who regularly contributes posts, support, and award nominations to the Thai "independent journalists." It is also clear how these same interests are involved in the support of Thaksin Shinawatrahttp://landdestroyer..com/2011/06/corporate-funded-peoples-movement.html, the imperial proxy of choice for Thailand.
....

The National Endowment for Democracy and its subsidiary Freedom Househttp://landdestroyer..com/2011/11/ned-freedom-house-are-run-by.html features boards of directors much resembling a revolving door, with current and former members of Congress, the US State Department, corporate lobbying firms, and corporate board members of some of the largest corporations on earth including Exxon, Boeing, Ford, and Goldman Sachs constantly shifting in and out of government, big-business, and NGO positions. They are, just as the British were, "not motivated by any such charitable intentions," as inspire the well-intentioned people drawn into the cause of NGOs like Prachatai they fund.

Their hope is to eventually diminish the power and influence of Thailand's own indigenous networks, by gradually building up the capacity of Wall Street & London's system administrators. Just like in the example of Georgia, ignorance and good intentions are used to swell the ranks of these networks, and just like in Georgia, they are kept purposefully dependent on the constant and substantial support provided by Wall Street & London, as local contributions are almost never enough. And while many of these people may believe they are committed to a "higher cause," they are simply soldiers of another kind within an imperial system perfected over centuries of trial and error.

The activists on the ground may be of genuine good-intentions but surely there are some who realize the conflict between their stated mission and the insincere intentions of those funding them from abroad. Just like the army, this system of NGOs perpetuates itself on the ignorance of the general population - of those drawn in by their good intentions to contribute to what they believe is a noble cause, and those throughout society who see these networks spreading across the planet with no idea of what their true purpose is.

Trevor Reese leaves us with one more relevant observation concerning the state of imperialism in the 18th century that still very much applies today:

"In the Eighteenth century, colonial affairs were subsidiary issues in English political life; Sir John Seeley's dictum that the British people founded an empire in a fit of absence of mind is true in the sense that imperial expansion seldom commanded public attention. Although there were always a few critics in the country who expressed anti-imperialist sentiments and feared that the empire would ultimately escape from the control of the mother-country, they represented only a small minority. Generally, when people thought about the colonies, which was not often, they regard them with mild approval, and believe in the advantage of an empire even though they knew little about it."

In the same way, today many people remain in the dark about what Wall Street & London do overseas. While military interventions grab headlines and create a brief but confusing diversion for most, they are but mildly aware of the concept of NGOs, let alone how they work in tandem with the creeping war machine making its way from Tunisia to Thailand and everywhere in between.

While today's media is able to project images onto our perception of what an NGO is, with pictures of smiling Africans clutching bags of USAID rice, thriving wildlife, and sprouting, dew covered seedlings, in reality it is a centralized operation built to tear down the old world, and replace with a new one. One that does not answer to the people that inhabit it on anything but the most superficial of levels, but rather to the people that rule over it - the monied elite, as they always have, with the most vicious feeding their competitors ruthlessly into their maw and gladly expanding into the place left at the table.

Link Part IV: Empire's Weakness is Independence

Empires require subjects. Without subjects there is no empire. There is no fleet, there are no Marines, there are no imperial administrators. There are no laborers to gather and send resources back to be refined, no one to refine them in the factories and send them back, and surely no one to buy these manufactured goods when they arrive.

Empire requires subjects to be preferable ignorant, easily manipulated, indoctrinated in a manner that motivates them to carry out their necessary function within the empire reliably. They need subjects that believe in the empire and most importantly, they need subjects who are hopelessly dependent on it. It is no coincidence then that nations declared their "independence" from England in pursuit of their freedom.

Image: By boycotting the British system, the Founding Fathers were already free and independent men by the time they signed the Declaration of Independence. The coming war would be to defend that freedom.
....

Before the great battles of the American Revolution took place and the victory that followed, the Founding Fathers took it upon themselves to declare their independence not only by writ, but also by action. Our Founding Fathers ceased the import of British goods, they created their own monetary system, they assembled their own militias, and most importantly they formed their own government based upon their own values, not King George's self-interest.

This truly measurable independence turned out to be the key to their success, for independence is freedom, and freedom from tyranny is victory. The battle they fought was not one to free themselves, instead, it was fought to defend the freedom from the British system they had already achieved.

In "Naming Names: Your Real Governmenthttp://landdestroyer..com/2011/03/naming-names-your-real-government.html" a list of the most common, reoccuring corporate-financier interests and the think-tanks they use to create, promote, publish, and execute their policy was provide. The article concluded by stating:

"These organizations represent the collective interests of the largest corporations on earth. They not only retain armies of policy wonks and researchers to articulate their agenda and form a consensus internally, but also use their massive accumulation of unwarranted influence in media, industry, [across a global network of NGOs,] and finance to manufacture a self-serving consensus internationally.

To believe that this corporate-financier oligarchy would subject their agenda and fate to the whims of the voting masses is naive at best. They have painstakingly ensured that no matter who gets into office, in whatever country, the guns, the oil, the wealth and the power keep flowing perpetually into their own hands."

Video: Voting is not an option. Noam Chomsky in 1993 regarding NED: "It's about what you would expect from a bipartisan democracy campaign - it's an attempt to impose what is called democracy, meaning rule by the rich and the powerful, without interference by the mob but within the framework of formal electoral procedures."
....

This is confirmed in a talk given by Noam Chomsky in 1993, where he stated or the National Endowment for Democracy's work, "it's an attempt to impose what is called democracy, meaning rule by the rich and the powerful, without interference by the mob but within the framework of formal electoral procedures." Quite clearly it is, along with Open Society, and the vast network of system administrators being built up across the planet, working in witless tandem with NATO, building in the swath of destruction it leaves behind the homogeneous workings of a global corporate-financier-run empire.

If the world is indeed run by corporate-financier interests, and voting is not only futile but gives the population a false sense of security, what can we do instead to declare our independence from modern empire?

On a daily basis, across the planet, billions of people witlessly pay into this empire, buying their products, paying them their attention on diversions like TV, radio, and at the theater, and participating in systems, organizations, and causes that like the "Georgia Trustees" may have started out working for prison reform, ended up handing the empire another thriving colony to exploit. It is clear then that vast campaigning, elections, rallies, and protests are not necessary or even viable options in dismantling this system - rather our daily decisions to boycott their corporations, pull the plug on our TVs, switch off the radio, leave the theaters empty and refuse to recognize the legitimacy of corporate-backed institutions and organizations on both national and international levels.

Instead, find local solutions, pursue self-sufficiency, self-reliancehttp://landdestroyer..com/2011/03/globalists-worst-nightmare.html, and leverage technologyhttp://landdestroyer..com/2012/01/our-last-chance-for-freedom-their-last.html to do for ourselves tomorrow what we depend on corporations to do for us today. We can start today, by simply "voting" local with our wallets, "voting" to read, watch, and listen to truly independent media instead of Hollywood - or better yet - creating our own content ourselves. The same could be said with the news. Stop humoring the professional liars on BBC who get caught in serial scams involving paid-for documentarieshttp://landdestroyer..com/2012/02/bbc-are-corporate-paid-propagandists.html, biased reporting, and flat out lying to their audience. There is a thriving alternative media that already proves the merits of doing more, doing better, and doing it all ourselves.

As concluded in "The Real Revolutionhttp://landdestroyer..com/2011/02/real-revolution.html,"

"They need us, we don’t need them. That’s the big secret. We get our freedom back as soon as we take back our responsibilities for food, water, security, the monetary system, power, and manufacturing; that is independence. Independence is freedom, freedom is independence. We’ll never be free as long as we depend on the Fortune 500 for our survival.
Fixing these problems unfolding overseas starts with fixing the problems in our own backyards. Boycott the globalists, cut off their support, undermine their system, and they lose their ability to commit these atrocities. That will be a real revolution and it can start today. Not burning cities and masked rebels waving flags, but communities no longer dependent and fueling a corrupt system we all know must come to an end."

Danka7777 and Ledafaze, how do you even start a new thread on this forum cos I have so many things regarding the machinations of Amerika to share on here. It is so sad that our people are always carried away and in awe of anything "yankee" thinking that they are the best thing that ever happened to the world. Little do they know that Amerika isn't led by the American president but by the blood thirsty, war-mongering corporate financiers and neo-cons that lurk behind the scenes. People just don't see all these and they are further disillusioned by the western propaganda and lies that they are fed continually by the western media. Little do people know that the constitutional rights and privacy of Americans are slowly been eroded away with increased state surveillance and bills such as the NDAA that "black heroes" such as Obama shameless push for despite being struck out by the courts! Land of the free and home of the brave you say? Why not google what happened to Brandon Raub, a war veteran who bared his thoughts on the state of Amerika and the lies they were being fed by their government? You'll see how he was unlawfully picked up, detained without charge, kept in isolation and forced to undergone a psychiatric evaluation just because he had the effrontery to question his government! That is just exactly like they did during the soviet days with the Psikhushka prisons.
Sites such as http://landdestroyer..com/, http://landdestroyer..com/, http://www.activistpost.com/, http://www.infowars.com/http://www.corbettreport.com/ should be your alternative sites to the mainstream media. There you will find

kalokalo: Thank you my brother. Too many Nigerians are uninformed on world geopolitics. they get all their information from Western sources and swallow like it is scripture. The rogue nation on earth that I know is the United States. America is a blood drunk and thirsty nation that ravages the world one country at a time. A country that sends its deluded citizens to die allegedly fighting al-qaeda terrorists in Afghanistan yet armed, financed and trained al-qaeda terrorists in Libya and now Syria. A country drenched in the blood of millions of innocents souls from Iraq to Afghanistan to Libya to Nicaragua to Vietnam to Yugoslavia to Korea to Grenada and many countries too numerous to mention. A country that has waged war on more than 30 countries since World War 2 and overthrown too many governments to bother listing here and assassinated many leaders of sovereign nations. A country that is full of rank hypocrisy and lies. A country that professes peace like a lamb yet acts and speaks like a dragon. A nation whose leaders are war criminals and mass murderers! That, my friends is the world's rogue nation.

Like imperial Rome, their arrogance for unchallenged hegemony and and global domination and wars of conquest will cause their economic ruin and ultimate collapse. They think invading Iran will be a cake-walk after being warned by experts that it will trigger WW3? Well, history beckons!
Thank you my brother. It is so refreshing to see that many Nigerians are indeed enlightened and see what Amerika really is. If you want to educate yourself more on US/Iran relations, please make sure you read these links:
