She alleged that while defending herself, he pushed her from the staircase and she injured herself. She also alleged that he tried to k!ll her.

There should be thorough investigation, both of them are lying.

That was the question I had initially, "why would she accompany him to go and ease himself?' But on second thought, both of them could have been out there in the waiting area. And then he invited her to accompany him to his office on the pretext that he was going to use the bathroom. Probably when they got to his office, that's when the incident occurred. So, context is what matters here. But just like you said, a thorough investigation by an independent body is needed.
