President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe has been named as the World's Best President by "The United Nations Economic And Social Council" during their annual conference.
This decision was reached by members of a technical committee made up of experts from reputable international civil service organizations selected President Robert Mugabe as the best best president during the period under review.

The outcome of the report which was based on the Political, Economic and Social indexes of the country and the President topping being the best has been questioned by many.Many have criticized the credibility of the results as Zimbabwe has been enmeshed so many controversies since he took office and Mugabe is being constantly pressurized by the main opposition party condemning every single decision taken by Mr. Mugabe’s office.

Upon learning of the award conferred on him, President Mugabe responded by saying;

“I am very honored with such a prestigious recognition. I believe this feat has been achieved through hard work and transparency. I thank the good people of Zimbabwe for creating the enabling environment for me to perform my duties creditably as the President of our dear country”.

A team of French Riot Policemen led by some government officials broke into a Catholic Church in France while mass was being celebrated and disrupted proceedings,
chasing out the Priest and his congregation members as well as destroying valuable properties in the process

According to reports, The Gothic Revival Church Of Sainte Rita, in the 15th Arrondisement of Paris had been earmarked for demolition in order to give way for the construction of a Car park and residential apartment building.

So a group of protesters led by the catholic priest named Father Jean-Francois Billot and the Local mayor of the town were molested and harassed by Riot policemen who were clearing the building ready for the bulldozers to bring the ancient 19th century building down.

A migrant woman of Congolese descent, was forced to deliver her baby girl aboard an Italian patrol ship 'Bettica", after being rescued from the Mediterrenean sea.
Miracle child. 'Joy Aurora' was born at 5.18am on July 30 on Italian navy patrol boat Bettica which was patrolling the waters.

She is the daughter of a Congolese couple rescued together with 870 other asylum-seeking migrants.
During childbirth, both mother and child received the healthcare they needed on board the ship. A doctor and a nurse from the organization "Fondazione Francesca Rava", including medical staff from the Italian Red Cross and the Italian Navy were all on hands to help out with this miraculous incident.

Reports reaching GossipMirrors indicates that An Emirates Airline plane with 275 people on board crashed land in an accident on Wednesday at Dubai airport but all the passengers were evacuated safely.




According to an official statement from a top government official in Dubai;

“An Emirates plane coming from India has been involved in an accident on landing at Dubai International Airport, and all 257 passengers were evacuated safely and no injuries have been reported so far,” the reports also, added that all departures from Dubai International have been halted “until further notice.”

News filtering in from Emirates Airlines also confirmed the incident, saying;

“We can confirm flight EK521 from Thiruvananthapuram to Dubai has been involved in an accident at Dubai International,” the carrier said on its Twitter account.

The frenzy being generated by the trending "DAB" dance has reached a fever pitch, as even the political elites are neck deep into doing the "Dab".


According to reports from a Facebook user who shared this story with GossipMirrors, South African Deputy President "Cyril Ramaphosa" is allegedly going through serious pains after he reportedly broke his neck while 'Dabbing' too hard during an electioneering campaign of the ANC.

Gist from the ANC faithfuls present during the campaign revealed that he refused to do the proper "Dab" warm up and rehearsals because he though it was too easy and it would be rather childish to warm up for such a thing.

According to a Facebook user who posted this story, The President of the Nigeria Union in South Africa, Ikechukwu Anyene, has confirmed the killings of two Nigerians in
Johannesburg, Gauteng Province in two separate incidents.

Anyene told the News Agency of Nigeria reporters on Sunday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State in a telephone chat from Pretoria that the two men were killed on July 29 at different areas of Johannesburg.
He said the first victim, Gideon Ogalaonye, an indigene of Onitsha, Anambra State, was allegedly shot dead at 7pm while on a visit to the residence of his daughters.
He said the second victim, Nnamdi Michael, an indigene of Enugu State, was allegedly stabbed to death by a Zimbabwean national at Yeoville at 8pm on the same day.

Anyene said eyewitnesses said the assailant first demanded for money from Michael, which was not given and later attempted to forcefully remove his phone.

He said the assailant stabbed the victim, adding that Nigerians at the scene pursued and arrested him.
Anyene said:

“The Zimbabwean has been handed over to the police and we will follow the case.The two incidents have been reported to the Nigerian mission in South Africa and the South African police.The Nigerian community in South Africa are not happy with the killings.

“We urge the Federal Government to persuade its South African counterpart to investigate and prosecute incidents of killings of Nigerians in that country.
“We are getting worried about these incessant killings and we want the culprits prosecuted.”

it would be recalled that Ikejiaku Chinedu, a 35-year-old Nigerian businessman, was killed on July 26 at Mokopane town, Limpopo Province by operatives of a private security firm.
