I don't know when Nysc will be done fuckingg with us. They should cum quickly and let us put our shiit together. We're yet to be committed and the relationship sure as hell looks like an abusive one already. What the 11 months hold can only be imagined.

I must tell you that the incredible way you used the english language in your write up amazed me... Truth must be told, nysc management is just using us to ensure they get what belongs to their pocket in the budget. Why did the DG just coming out to say their is no money when the orientation exercise remains one week to commence. The time at which the DG came out to talk was very strategic, they knew the situation of things would have been very tensed by then. Nysc just using us to hold FG to ransome.

Some other times, I ask myself what becomes of the 3k we paid for the online printing service. It never goes to the FG, in fact I suspect that both recurrent and overhead expenditures for their ICT team (I'm aware it's being contracted out / outsourced) is also captured in their budget. Nysc needs to be scraped. N O W!!!!! Elsewhere in the politic section of nairaland , a yoruba youth is presently cursing and attacking an 'ipob yoot'. So what's the need. Who dem don epp

point of correction sir, FG did not removed all the money meant for nysc in the budget but FG slashed nysc budget by 40%, nysc still have 60% of their budget approved. The approved 60% is meant to hold orientation program for 2016 batch A, B and C. So is nysc now telling us that they cannot hold orientation program for only batch A alone out of the approved 60%? You will agree with me that nysc is just using our grievance to play game on the federal government.

Guy, that's exactly what is happening. You're very smart. Nysc really just wanted to cow the FG. We are all Nigerians and hence are fully aware of the financial malpractices that go on in the Federal MDAs, each year they tender same overbloated piece of scrap and call it budget. Nysc only became a casualty of budget cut after the lid on the budget padding had been blown, 13B was cut and now they are crying blue murder. See, this is thing, we ( stream2) are nothing but a joker being pulled by the Nysc mgt. We are the collateral damage for the slash.
Pray tell, what has the declaration by the DG regarding the budget cut got to do with why he was invited by the Senate ad hoc committee? He only played a fast one on the FG by tactically saying that. Now they've succeeded in making the govt take the blame when it truth nysc is the fantastically stupid and torrid organisation riddled with crass ineptitude which has only but outlived its objectives ditto relevance. Bullshit

2016 NYSC Stream II news update

Many prospective corps members are concerned over the management of NYSC being mute on the printing of their call up letter.

Some are able to see date of printing the call up letter on their dashboard while some others dont. This has given the PCMs concerns on what will become of them as:

They have only 7days from now to report to camp.
the rumour being spread that the stream II has been moved to the next stream and;
NYSC use of “2016 Batch ‘A’ Orientation” on their social media instead of “2016 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Orientation”
Here are PCMs views.

From observation, the printing of NYSC 2016 Batch A stream II call-up letter might be on Saturday, 14th May, 2016. Prospective corps members are advised to get ready to serve their father land and ignore any other rumour. Should there be any change in information, NYSC will not hesitate to pass the information to the prospective corps members.

" Stream I passing out from camp starts from 8am- 6pm today. All camp's officials of various camps in Nigeria and the ICT department will be fully committed and as such printing of call up letter for stream II is expected to commence tomorrow being 14th of May.

so from what I can deduced is dat both the ICT department where busy printing pop letter for those passing out of camp today...

thinks I can take relief from this .

If every member of their ICT team were that busy, tell me
1. Who tampered with the info on our dashboards
2. Who sent out the sms received by some PCMs

See, let's face it. Something is fishy. We are all in for a shocker

Sadly that's not far from the truth. All states cannot host stream 2.

If there's any message nysc has managed to pass across to us, it is : YOU CANNOT PREEMPT US! Unfortunately the joke is on them not us. Personally, I will never advice any PCM to ever subscribe to their online printing service; it's riddled with unprofessionalism, confusion and poor service delivery as evident in the dilly dallies associated with mere printing of CULs. Shameful.

Well for those who are worried about the printing date not expressly stated on their dashboards, keep calm. It's only a prove of the manifestation of their ineptitude. Come tomorrow the 14th, we shall all print our CULs(if their servers don't get jammed again ;( )
Meanwhile

I think we'd be allowed access to print the letters as early as possible tomorrow morning but ( I don't want to preempt these nysc people again ;( )

Anyhoos, let's see how it eventually pans out.
