ositadima1: I’ve been reading these comments and just laughing. Someone even said it’s because of the 15% tax on fuel importation, lol. People are coming up with all kinds of wild ideas. How much fuel does Nigeria even import from the U.S. to justify a war? Does that make any sense? When has the U.S. ever invaded a country over something that flimsy?
What I actually see coming are sanctions. The U.S. might start sanctioning Nigeria if the government doesn’t address the high level of killings. I don’t see how the U.S. would put boots on Nigerian soil without cooperation from Nigeria itself. They’ve worked with us before on the Boko Haram issue, but that ended in a mess, our military would often tip off the terrorists before major operations. Is like you're a USA lover and to u the USA is not trying to sabotage Nigeria. Nigeria has taken or is about to take African refined petroluem products market from the western world. I know they are not happy about Dangote refinery. |

Stockhunter: Thats a whopping 5 years from now and just about 100%. I believe you are being conservative anyway..I think there are 2 categories of investors. Those on aggressive growth and those on stability. If you have deep pockets you can comfortably play the stable game with the banks and its dividends. If you are still grwoing you can tilt towards aggresive. Well except the trajectory of the banks change. All things being equal there are stocks that can do this 100% in a year and thats a no brainer. So it just depends on the kind of imvestor one is. Don't forget UBA was below N10 in 2020 |

Nazgul: The man should have just stopped and given them something the moment they grabbed his steering wheel. I'm not supporting what the touts did to him. I'm seriously against them. But when you're in a lawlessness country like Nigeria where touts would be threatening people's lives and police would be at the next junction extorting from those who survived the touts, you'd have to apply wisdom.
He was in the car with his wife and kid(s) how much was the money they were demanding for that he had to gamble with his family?
I remember one time I dropped a friend off at Anthony under bridge, he wanted to climb the hill to access the express so I moved in to drop him off. As he came down and left, one rugged tout started running towards me, I wanted to zoom off then I noticed he carried a very big stone, I just stopped and gave him N500 yes you heard me right. Five hundred naira which he collected and walked away. Imagine if I had stubbornly tried to zoom off and he had shattered my windshield, it would have cost me up to 200k to replace it. But I applied wisdom and paid just 500 and left peacefully.
We should learn how to apply wisdom. Everything shouldn't be about aggression cos these touts have nothing to lose. I've seen them pull down a conductor from a moving bus. They're ready to fight and die. So dragging with them isn't a wise option.
May their souls rest in peace. An average agbero is a mad person looking normal. The man made a great mistake by being aggressive with them. |

Hello punters!
Football betting could serve as a source of extra income to folks with business minded orientation.
I'm new to this sport betting business. Within a month of my commencement of this endeavour,I have made about 140% of my initial capital.
I intend to increase my capital to a substantial amount.
MY QUESTION IS: which of the bookies will not block your account when you start betting, winning and withdrawing large sum of money? |
Romance › Re: 7 Reasons You Should Stay Far Away From Men Who Bet On Football Games (Pics) by UNIBENDON: 5:38pm On Aug 22, 2018 |
bluefilm: mizzbouqui, I'm sorry to say it but your whole post is riddled with nothing but absolute ignorance.
Why do I say so?
Of course, you are not a punter.
Obviously, you don't bet.
The worst mistakes anyone can make in life is to listen to someone who has no knowledge, experience or idea of whatever s/he is teaching or preaching about.
You may say that you have seen so many people who have been ruined by betting but the truth is, that's just half of the story.
Betting is nothing but trading.
And just like in most trading, there are smart traders and dumb traders.
Therefore just like in any other everyday business, there are certain strategies one can easily adopt in his betting business to put the odds to his favour.
One thing that always makes me laugh when I listen to some people is when these people call others lazy.
You are calling me lazy just because I punt but let's analyze it a little further.
Are you aware that there are so many people who open their shops everyday, from dawn till dusk on a daily basis but they make literally nothing (tangible) from their business?
Think of people who sell electronics that can open their shops for a whole month but they may not even make one sale but yet they are paying tax, shop rents and maybe, salaries to their sales boys and girls, not to mention their house rents too.
What of that banana and groundnut woman that carries banana in a tray on her head throughout the whole day but if you check the total content of her wares, it is not even up to three thousand naira?
To someone like you, these people are not lazy but very hardworking, right?
Okay.
Now, I walk into bet9ja shop with my 10K for instance, I play some games by applying my strategies, and I come out with a five thousand naira profit or more.
Mind you, I can apply the same tactics and strategies more than once in any given day.
That's the beauty of sports trading with so many options for someone to profit, if you know what you are doing.
You call me lazy but chances are, I am making more money than you hardworking person.
Why is that so?
Of course, I am working smart.
That's why.
You may tell me that what if I lose?
Of course, losing is part of any business.
Let's say you enter your vehicle to travel from say, Enugu to Onitsha.
Do you know that each time you embark on such a journey, there's every possibility you could die in a road accident and lose your life?
But yet, you still enter the vehicle.
As a smart trader, it behooves on me to limit my losses to the barest and acceptable minimum.
In most occasions, when people like you talk, I'm aware that you are most likely speaking from personal opinion, which is okay.
But unless you really know why someone is doing whatever they are doing, I don't think it is always a wise idea to state categorically that they are in a wrong business, most especially when you yourself don't even understand the internal workings of that particular business in any way at all.
The fact that I punt does not mean that I don't do anything else.
I am a programmer. I am an engineer. I am a writer. I am a blogger. I am an entrepreneur.
I am in sports betting because I have a ONE BILLION naira business plans to pursue and I need up to Fifty Million Naira capital or more to push through.
Can you suggest to me ways in which I could raise such a huge capital without necessarily having anything to do with sports betting? You have what 'they' call common sense! Life is all about taking calculated risk!! If you must be rich, you must take calculated business risk!!! |
