As I saw this your post, I hurriedly ran to my kitchen to check the soy sauce I have with me. Na Amoy'c I buy o!

It's definitely fake!

Not just the name, but even the Chinese inscription by the side of the brand name is missing, replaced by Ziplook (whatever that is). Now, look lower down, that product description is kinda off, the original bears nothing like that.

Let me snap a picture of the Oyster Sauce I have, same brand (this one is not fake); use it to compare.

I just checked on Google and found out there seem to be many fakes oo
I've seen AMOYs, AMOY'c, AMQY.... and surprisingly, they are being sold by even the big supermarkets and well-known online outlets, e.g Jumia, Konga, etc.

Ahhh, it's even worse than I thought 🤔

Found out the soy sauce I had been using for weeks was fake also. The original name is Amoy; the one I bought was Amoys.
And the painful part was the fact I only discovered when it was nearly finished. I just simply threw away what was left of it, lesson learnt.

One really needs to be more vigilant these days when buying things in the market. The way at which these unscrupulous fake items merchandisers are going, many Nigerians will continue to be exposed to potential health hazards from consuming these adulterated food and drinks.

The thought alone is scary.

Check the uploaded screenshots under this post of the reactions of PDP members by @Naptu. This asinine dude called Marcus Obiene in May 2023 insulted Yoruba women and women in general by making that misogynistic and insulting post on X: ["Did I hug a Yoruba girl? Why should I take my bath before I sleep?"] and therefore does NOT deserve that EFCC appointment.

Even employers go through the social media handles of their potential employees and employees in order to get an idea of their previous posts online which can turn up red flags!


I hope the APC leaders get to see why many don't want this young man to be given that post. There is banter, and there is outright disrespect and misogynistic comments against women, and worst still, coming from someone who should be above board.

Guy does not deserve the post and should be dropped asap.

This is one case I would fully support an online petition to be made against the nomination of this irredeemable bigot
