martinosi: Just My Thoughts -
Reading the thank you post and comments and even my emails just brings tears to my eyes
It pains me that alot of young graduates and even older graduates are out there all over Nigeria that are struggling with low paying jobs and hard economic situations
The Lord laid it on my heart to do this but in the actual carrying this out the Lord Has humbled me and taught me a lesson that when i bless you the money does not belong to you its still Mine the Lord and you must do my will with the funds. I have leaned that i just a steward of these funds
There are so many people hurting financially in Nigeria and we are supposed to be a nation with alot of wealthy christians and churches that are financially blessed but still there is so many christians and Nigerians in general that are lacking.
I hope my giving from a sincere and concered heart encourages other Nigerians who are blessed to do the same.
By His Grace i will do more and i planning to reach the level where i can just do this on a regular basis.
I just tired of seeing so many rich nigerians who are christians not do enough to help others who are struggling
I dont have to know you to help you...
I was once in the Position of not having being in a position to bless someone financially
I have learned that i have to practice and share the blessing of the Lord in my life with other
I cannot fly first class or hire a private Jet or live in a Mansions on business tours in Europe, Asia, Latin America etc and live a good life with my loved ones and see people that are suffering and turn a blind eye...i will never do that again in my life..and us long as God Keeps on blessing i will keep on giving.....
I just making effort to be a real christian from my heart
God Bless!!! You are such a rare gem sir. You will soar higher in the mighty name of Jesus. |

Overlord99: I can tell you that this is 100% real and true. I got #10000 alert a few minutes ago. My name is the 5th on the list (Julius O). For those who don't believe and call Mr. Martin a liar, I just want to remind you that he doesn't know or owe anyone of us anything but he chooses to use his money to bless people here. That is one of the highest form of charity that I can point out. Mr Martin is a God send and I ask you people to keep believing, he cannot help everyone at once so be patient if you aren't chosen right now, I pray your turn comes soon I got mine too. My name is 4th on the list Grace B. Let the doubting thomas continue doubting. I pray that God continue to bless Mr Martin. |

okoroemeka: this is the accurate procedure to follow, but be ready the letter of administration will not be ready in less than 6 months, you will also be required to paste the information on your LGA gazzette for 1 month and you will pay 10% of the money in the deceased account,go with death certificate and other relevant documents,I don't know if it still delayes like when I did my late mum's ,it took close to 6-7 months before it finally came out. |

[quote author=xynerise post=79909608]Please guy, before I start chasing shadows trying to recover the money in my late brother's bank account, I would like to know the steps to take. Until his death, he lived in the northern part of Nigeria where the bank is also located.
1. Do I have to travel to his bank location to make necessary procedures or I can do that elsewhere where the bank has a branch?
2. What are the procedures?
Thank you for your assistance
It's not that difficult you wants to. First, if you are not the his next of kin, you will need to get an affidavit standing as his next of kin, its between 100-500 NGN depending on your location.
Then, proceed to the Probate Registry/Section of a Federal High Court and request for a Letter of Administration, it's should be around 10,000NGN or so. This amount covers newspaper publication. Once it's ready, they will call you to go pick the LOA and the copy of the newspaper.
Then, you take it to the bank, they will open and estate account for you, where they will transfer the balance in your late brother's account.
NB. This is something you can do yourself, if you involved a lawyer, they will just make money from you. |

iammo: If there was'nt a conflict of interest when Mary Odili sat among the Supreme Court panelist as a former rivers state PDP first lady in delivering judgement on several APC vs PDP case then its quite hypocritical to ask the President of the Appeal Court of Nigeria, a career judge of many years to step aside for childish frivolities of PDP, besides she is judging based on nigeria's Constituition Please mention just one case involving the PDP where Mary Odili sat on, let alone chaired. For the records, Justice Mary Odili excused herself from any case involving the PDP not even APC V PDP. ANY CASE involving PDP as it is inline with the global best practices of natural justice to avoid conflict of interest. PS: please google the meaning of Conflict of Interest, because it seems you have no idea what it means. |

StOla: You should remember that you are blabbing about an incumbent governor who has just won re-election by 341 votes?
And you still claim he knows his onions?
Someone who should not even lay claims to garlic. Tambuwal won against all the rigging of APC. Tinubu has to visit Sokoto for this election. With Governors Yari of Zamfara, Bagudu of Kebbi, Senator Wamako and Federal might all against him, i think it's in order to admit that Tambuwal did well. |
