The Russian Defense Ministry announced that two fighter pilots involved in shooting down a US surveillance drone that crashed into the Black Sea have received state awards, while the US has resumed its spy flights in the area.

Putin also commented on the recent statements made by these NATO countries, saying that they have made a bid for the process of disarmament. He said-

"what do such NATO countries as France and the United Kingdom vie for and how will their strategic arsenals be taken into account.

"That is to say the overall strike potential of the alliance," Putin explained.
