"Hmm, I had not given it much contemplation. I do not wish to spend my days engaged in perpetual races, tirelessly striving to maintain my title," I mused.

"And what is it that you truly desire?" he inquired, his eyes reflecting profound wisdom.

"I yearn to bask in tranquility, to immerse myself in the cool embrace of that serene pond, to relish the simple joys offered by nature," I confessed.

Because he knows Russia isn’t serious. They currently occupy around 18% of Ukrainian territory and have tried to erase Ukrainian culture and heritage in the areas they control. Not excludin deportation and kidnapping of children.

Zelensky has one key condition for talks to progress. Russia needs to pull out of Ukraine, respecting their sovereignty. But Russia doesn’t want that, since the sole purpose of the invasion was to steal Ukrainian land, topple the government and create a puppet state there just like Belarus.

Instead, Russia wants to freeze the conflict as is while they desperately train their troops and try to replenish their depleted ammo and missile stocks.
