HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Sun, September 20, 2020 Topic: Act Like It ✝️ The Spirit's Word: Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Psalms 100:2 KJV Because thou servedst not the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies... Deuteronomy 28:47-48 KJV Some people love the praises and opinions of men more than any other thing. They would do anything to be noticed or seen by men. This is a form of bondage. They always want people to talk or say something about their body language. It's an inferiority complex. We are not called to be conscious of people's opinions but of God. This set of people may be brethren, or leaders in the Church. They do things so people can form a line of enquiry. They are modern day pharisees, who love to be approved by men. Matthew 23:5. God is good. It doesn't matter your experiences - good or bad. That you are alive is proof of His goodness. Don't wear a countenance that discredit God's goodness. You may have had terrible experiences. You are not the only one. Many have, and many will. Don't always look to man to share your story of how you have seen this, and that like God forsook you, in other to receive sympathy or praise from men. God is not pleased with such an attitude. The opening verses tell us to serve God with gladness, not sorrow. As far as God is concerned, there is a curse that follows whoever will not serve Him with joyfulness of heart for the abundance of all things. We must see from God's perspective. The Bible is replete with men of God who went through ""hell" and back. Paul had a special call to suffer for the Name of Jesus Christ. Acts 9:16. However, he was the one that told us to rejoice always. Philippians 4:4, 1 Thessalonians 5:16,18. There are some who would never join in congregational singing or dancing. In the house of God, they just put up a front to be different from others. They just want people to notice them, and so give an impression that God is not deserving of their outward show of His praise. Shyness or timidity is not from God. We must never be shy to praise Him. We must never be proud too. Don't put your opinions above the worship of God. The enemy is always there waiting for you to fall short. We must always act like God has been good to us. Truly, He has been good to us. His goodness is to all. It is written: That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:45. I've had thoughts of God keeping back the sun from shining, or the rain from falling for a period of time. It isn't something anyone should be looking forward to. For this reason, quit wearing that look that makes people ask you what is wrong all the time. Reminder: in every situation, you are still better off than another. A living dog is better than a dead lion. Ecclesiastes 9:4. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Sat, September 19, 2020 Topic: Partakers of God ✝️ The Spirit's Word: According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:3-4 KJV I love the opening verses. It's so powerful. God has made us share in His divine nature. Divine nature means the life of God being lived on earth, in this mortal body. A life free from corruption; that won't perish or succumb to the decadence already in the world. It's a life of glory and power. Anything is possible according to His will. It is lust that brings about corruption, and revelation that delivers this blessedness to us. Apostle John summarised the three deathly powers of the world in: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. 1 John 2:16. These are Satan's wiles and devices. He uses these three in bringing men down. Every believer must be aware of these manipulative arsenal of darkness. There is no void in life. Every empty space must be filled up. Matthew 12:43-45. If we don't fill up our lives with God, the enemy will fill it up for us. We've got to be responsible for our own lives. Our eyes and ears can put us in trouble. We must hear only things related to God. We must also only see visuals that can only build us up. Don't feed your lust. We must be intentional with our thoughts, words, and actions. No one has attained to God's best for them. There is always a next phase of glory or virtue. We don't stop growing in revelation of God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. Even in heaven, eternity can't suffice to know all there is to Him. For this reason, we must be diligent with studies that reveal the Lord continually. No better person than the Holy Ghost. John 16:13-15. This is the wisest thing any man can do and it is for our profiting. Seeking God is a lifelong venture. Don't be ever satisfied with that minuscule knowledge you have of Him. It doesn't matter the grace that has been multiplied in your life, never feel fulfilled. There are depths of God no man has entered into. This must be our purpose, before any individual calling. God is love and light. Hence, loving Him and our neighbours should never be tiring or exhausting. Also, discovering more light about His nature, will, character, etc., should never be a thing we take lightly. The purpose of these pursuit is not for what we can get, but our love for Him. There is no one who truly loves another, that wouldn't care to know all there is to know about them. We are in a love relationship with God. The more we know Him, the more we are able to love. Reminder: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 1 Peter 1:23 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Fri, September 18, 2020 Topic: Mighty Men of War ✝️ The Spirit's Word: Now these be the last words of David. David the son of Jesse said, and the man who was raised up on high, the anointed of the God of Jacob, and the sweet psalmist of Israel, said, The Spirit of the Lord spake by me, and his word was in my tongue. The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. 2 Samuel 23:1-3 KJV After King David's victorious exploits, He gave a summary of what is required for a man to rule. He was speaking under the Anointing of the Holy Ghost. No man was anointed three times like David was and so, He had a measure of the Spirit that no other king had in his days. Even though, he didn't fully live by the principles that the Holy Ghost uttered through his mouth (verse 5), He was a king that all should emulate, in terms of the good, who would be used by God. There were 37 mighty men God gave to David, who helped him in accomplishing all that the Lord purposed for him. We can't do it alone. No man is an island and for this reason, we must be united as a Body. One of the devil's antics is to bring division. Once there is division, the power of God is impeded. We talk about David, the beloved of the Lord. However, the Lord knows it would be a great injustice not to mention those that helped him to win those battles. For this reason, a whole chapter of the Bible was dedicated to them - these mighty men of valour, and their respective feats mentioned. It is not out of place to thank, recognise and honour those who helped you along the way. However, all the glory belongs to God. How can we relate this to this day? We are not in a physical, but spiritual battle. 2 Corinthians 10:3. Thus, the Holy Ghost saw it proper to mention the truth that we must be just (righteous) and rule in the fear of the Lord. Without these two, we can't conquer anything. The enemy knows this, and that is why he will always make men fall to pride and sin. The fear of the Lord is hating and abstaining from every single thing God detests. It is living a life that pleases God. It is not enough to claim the gift of righteousness, but we must live it. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 1 John 3:7. God has emotions. He can be hurt, as well as pleased. How can you face the enemy when he has something in you? If these 37 were not loyal to King David, what could he have achieved? It took one man, Judas, to betray Jesus and ended His ministry on earth. If we, are not loyal, faithful and submitted to Christ our Lord, how can we, with Him, prevail against the enemy. For this reason, many don't live a fulfilled and victorious life. No matter what whoever preaches out there, if there is sin in your life, it is a stumbling blocking. The Bible warns never to give place to the enemy. Ephesians 4:27. Reminder: Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 2 Corinthians 2:11 KJV. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Tue, September 15, 2020 Topic: Unveiling Mysteries ✝️ The Spirit's Word: For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. I Corinthians 14:2 NKJV The amplified version uses "secret things and hidden truths'' in the place of mysteries. We all know what a mystery is - something not understood. What is the purpose of tongues? It portrays intimacy with God. It is also a way of the Spirit in helping us to communicate best with God. That which is done in the secret place is kept secret. Dwelling in the secret place of the Most High means He won't hide things from you. Speaking mysteries doesn't mean it is hidden from you. There is a way of unveiling them. If a married person tells one other than their spouse what goes on in their bedroom, they have failed. Our destination in Christ is rest. Isaiah 28:11-12 shows us that tongues is the way to get there. Tongues are the only new gifts of the Holy Spirit that weren't in the Old Testament. This is because Jesus was not yet revealed. Jesus is the real deal. He is the One that seals it all up between God and men. He is to man a perfecter. Now, the opening verse tells us we speak secret things and hidden truths when we speak in tongues. We can go a step or two further. It is not God's will that we be ignorant of what these mysteries which we speak are. In fact, we speak in tongues because the Holy Ghost, who knows the mind of God, and His will for us, knows exactly what to say per time. For this reason, we must desire an interpretation of these secrets. Read 1 Corinthians 2:9-11. As there is a gift of the interpretation of tongues, don't think it a hard thing for you who speaks in tongue to know what it is you are saying. Rest is simply being free from your labour's and strivings. The Holy Spirit showed me a way to do it. I heard how some of God's generals talked about interpreting their tongues. I decided to try it, and the Holy Spirit dropped it into my spirit what we were praying about. What the Holy spirit made me to grasp was that any issue that I did not yet have a clue to, I should believe to get the answers while I prayed in tongues. As I did, the answers and way out was given to me. Things being downloaded by the Holy Spirit found their way into my mind or consciousness. You can also give it a try. I didn't say you should focus on a problem, but rather if there are ideas you are believing God for, or unanswered questions, be open to Him about it while you pray in tongues. He will give you not only one, but several ideas. We can't make the Holy Spirit pray anything in particular, for the Bible is clear that it is not for us to tell the Holy Spirit what to pray for. Romans 8:26-27. Someone may be dying next to you; if you start speaking in tongues, there is no certainty that the Holy Spirit is praying exactly about that situation. He prays according to the will of God, so don't mistake that truth. Reminder: Be a lover of God, and there is nothing that would be hidden from you. Read Psalm 25:14. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Mon, September 14, 2020 Topic: Christ Expression ✝️ The Spirit's Word: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 KJV As Christians, we should say the things that God has said about us. But it is not enough to just say, we must live it. Christ-likeness is not about speaking, but being. We will only be deceiving ourselves when we keep speaking the truths of God's Word, and live a life that is far from it. Yes, we are crucified with Christ. Do you make void the reality of this truth? Many of us quench the spirit of God. We do not let Christ find expression in our lives by the thoughts we keep or harbour in our hearts towards others, or the Words we speak, or the way we live our lives. Our aim is to get better everyday as we make the utmost to live for Him who died for us. I have learned over the years not to take people at their word. A picture paints a thousand words is very true. We live in a world where people can say anything but when push comes to shove, they do the exact opposite. How can Christ ever be revealed in our lives if we don't work at getting better in the way we conduct ourselves. The Bible says: Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. James 4:17. Reading your bible daily won't suffice. Going to church or being a minister of the Gospel won't either. Until we decide to do what Christ would have us do under any circumstance, this is how true transformation begins. 2 Corinthians 3:18 tells us we go from glory to glory as we behold the Word. However, James tells it better. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he's like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. James 1:22-25. It can be frustrating to expect things to happen, and not comply with godly principles. Even prayer won't do the trick. You can't be praying for God to change you, without sincerity in your heart to be determined to change. He would definitely test you with simple instructions. This way, He will reveal the state of your heart. The Bible clearly warns us that the believer is an enemy of the world and vice versa. 1 John 2:15-16. You must disconnect every desire for worldly affections to be a true candidate of Galatians 2:20. The Spirit of God can't mingle with the spirit of the world. All of us were at one time friends with the world and its lustful desires. There comes a time, you must be truly and sincerely separated. Jesus is not satisfied with 99 percent of you. It's all or nothing. No sane man shares his wife with another man. Reminder: Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 2 Corinthians 6:17 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Sun, September 13, 2020 Topic: Incarnation ✝️ The Spirit's Word: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 1:14 KJV In the beginning of creation, God spoke and things were created and formed. The Word of God also became flesh in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a great mystery. The Word became flesh and dwelt among mortal man. This is incarnation. We know why He did it - to redeem man. However, let's look at the concept of incarnation. The virgin Mary conceived without the natural process as designed by God, where a man knows a woman. God had to bypass this process, because God is Spirit. However, God's Word is the raw material of everything that exists. If there would ever be any other thing created, it can only come from the Word. The Word is also light, and life. John 1:4. God is light, and this means all the make up of God is light. 1 John 1:5. Light is the tangible material of the spirit. We can't see words, they are only spoken and heard, but the Holy Ghost came upon Mary, and His power overshadowed her. Luke 1:35. When God manifests His presence, and glory, it's always by a brightness that darkness can't stand. For this reason, we must do all to get the Word from the Bible pages into Light in our lives. Only light can birth anything meaningful in our lives. Isaiah 60:1-3. Light is the only medium through which the spiritual becomes the physical. We can only access light by the Holy Ghost. If we don't engage Him through the Word, and in fellowship, we can't access light. Things die because of the presence of darkness. It's light that liberates. For that sickness or disease to be a thing of the past, the light of God has to tabernacle on your mind, and body too. Even science tells us that light is made up of particles called photons. If physical light can be as useful as we have today, how much more spiritual light. We must engage spiritual secrets in the Word to see that the Word of God becomes incarnated in our lives and situation. If we don't speak what we have believed, how can we see a manifestation of the reality we envisage. If we don't see what is written concerning us, how shall they ever come to be? A seeing eye, a hearing ear and an understanding heart is what we should ask the Holy Ghost for as we constantly fellowship with Him. The principle is simple: God calls those things which be not as though they were. Romans 4:17. We must learn also to speak and hear as God does. Reminder: And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Genesis 1:3 KJV. John 1:4. HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Sat, September 12, 2020 Topic: God's Exalted Mountain ✝️ The Spirit's Word: And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. Isaiah 2:2 KJV A mountain can mean something positive or negative. Let's look at the positive meaning. We have heard stories of how they have been refuge from war and other calamities. A mountain can be a safe haven. Nobody can deny the existence of mountains. They standout in any place they are located. This represents influence. Mountains are a symbol of Influence. The opening Scripture show us what God has planned in these last days. The Church shall be at the top of all others, whether it is politics, or media, or education, etc. This tells us that God is going to make the Church a solution centre to all the world's problems. The Lord told me, '' we can't have world peace''. As long as the world has its own version of peace, different from the Prince of Peace, they will only keep stumbling into more and more adversities and problems. Only in Christ can we have peace. We see issues like climate change, global warming, political unrest, gender confusion, etc., which have all arisen as a result of trying to do things apart from God. He, alone, has the answers to all these problems that have made man a shadow of God's purpose. God is about to crown His church with power, wisdom, riches, glory, honour, strength, and blessing like never before. Revelation 5:12. All these sevenfold arsenal is God going to use in these last days. All that people seek is summarised in them. Power to heal all kinds of diseases, with signs and wonders like has never been. Medicine can't cure or manage all the diseases the enemy has injected into the world; the wisdom to proffer solutions to all these problems. His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, Ephesians 3:10 NIV. Strength to displace spiritual strongmen (demons) over territories, and take over cities and even, countries for God. Glory and honour to beautify the lives of all who have known shame all their lives. Glory is also for transfiguration. The tares and weeds the enemy planted in the lives of men must be rooted out. Honour dignifies us as true sons of God. To show that it is His will for His children to be rich, the wealth of the sinners will be given over to the church. Proverbs 13:22, Isaiah 45:3. God's blessing is reserved only for His own people. After all these, the earth shall bubble with the knowledge of God's glory, and all people shall flow into the House of God. Habakkuk 2:14. HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Fri, September 11, 2020 Topic: Contrition ✝️ The Spirit's Word: Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:3 KJV The poor in spirit is a humble person; one who sees how small and insignificant they are without God. They find no satisfaction else where. Jesus is the only hope they have. It is quite interesting this is the first of the beatitudes. I also know it is the last test God puts you through before promoting you. When you are truly humble, you can have God. What I mean is that, you can own God like He is your property. God loves a contrite heart. This is the attitude we must develop as children of God. The Lord told us, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3-4. How do you identify pride? When you still get easily embarrassed, and offended. Ambition and competition are elements of pride. When you always want to know what another person is up to, for the wrong reasons, that's pride. Our God is so humble, it's almost unbelievable. For this reason, He wants to dwell with the lowly person. We have to see others above us, and ahead of us. We are in a race, but we run alone. No competition in God. King David told us being broken and contrite is the real sacrifice our God is seeking. Psalm 51:17. God is never far from them. Have you ever considered what Apostle James meant by this: Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? James 2:5. Material poverty doesn't mean you're humble. There are prideful poor people. It is the biggest secret in the kingdom - contrition. God can't stand or even behold pride. The Lord Jesus chose the poor as disciples, because He knew pride comes with riches. He had rich disciples, but not so many. For this reason, God breaks a man in the issues of money or finance before using that man. You can't have your eyes on God and money at the same time. Luke 16:13. Be liberal. I know one thing, that money will always leave the hands of those who are fixated on it. Contrition must be our character and attitude. We must wear it in everything we do and say. The eyes of God are upon the humble and contrite person. Isaiah 66:2. He also revives such a person. Isaiah 57:15. If you really desire God as your ally, just be humble. There is no contrition without the fear of the Lord. Reminder: God can't work in an environment of pride. Our calling in life is not an ambition, but a divine purpose. |

Romans 9:13 KJV The opening Scripture may seem unfair to the lay person. It may try to suggest that God is unfair or unjust. But we know that our God is just, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. Romans 9:14. Apostle Paul expounded on the election of God. God is omniscient. knowing the end of a thing before the beginning. Isaiah 46:10. For instance, Judas made the decision to betray Jesus, even as it was foretold. It was His cooperation with the adversary that led to his own demise and perdition. Why did God hate Esau? We know that Esau, as an individual, was loved by Isaac, but Rebecca loved Jacob. Esau was a hunter, and his father enjoyed the game he brought from the field. Genesis 25. Ordinarily, Esau was just a son that pleased his earthly father. However, he fell short before his Spiritual Father, God. The writer to the Hebrews said: Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. Hebrews 12:16-17. Esau's sin was a lack of spirituality. He had no respect for spiritual things. He was only responsive to the carnal nature, which is idolatry. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:6. No carnal person can please God. Esau sold his birth right for food. This same food the adversary used in the temptation series of Jesus. It is a terrible thing to be carnally minded. It means you are not alive to the fatherhood of God. If you are alive to God, you will, by all means, be spiritual. God is Spirit. He is also the Father of spirits. Hebrew 12:9. Don't live a life that only perceives the natural. If you believe you are a higher class of being compared to the animals, you have to show it in every way. Some are mad at God. They ask all manner of questions that show they just can't submit to God. Questions that deny the existence or reign of God. They keep wondering why and how, and this makes them wanderers on the earth. Just like Cain, they are cut off from the presence of God and are more or less vagabonds. Don't let this be you. God is real. You don't need an explanation to figure that out. Be spiritual. Learn to pray, fast, study the Word, fellowship with the Holy Spirit and other believers. Being spiritual is nothing more than acknowledging God, and doing what He says to be done. Reminder: An Esau generation can't make heaven. Obadiah 1:18-21. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Wed, September 9, 2020 Topic: First Get It Right ✝️ The Spirit's Word: Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck that is in your brother’s eye. Luke 6:42 NKJV It is a fact that people struggle with a lot of things. It is also a big travesty to try to help people in the thing you still struggle with. It can't work. What principles could you teach them that has refused to work out for you. It is better you let them know you also struggle with such, and then present any truth you may have found about it. Jesus says it is hypocritical to claim to have the answers when it is so obvious you are neck deep in the same or similar problem. This is why we must preach to ourselves, before venturing to preach to others. Everyone can share the Gospel of salvation, but when it comes to certain truths that are unverified by you, how can you help another person? You can't preach divine health to someone when you always fall sick, or take preventive medication. There is no spirit backing up your message, and it won't yield any fruit in the lives of those that you are offering. It is important we spend time with God. Everyone came into this world with one negative issue or another. To some, it is more than they can bear. If we spend time with God, He can help us overcome. And we can, in turn, help others. This is because you can always relate with such plight. No man can help another man without being first helped by God. If God helps you, there is a motivation and drive to help others. You're also empowered by the Spirit to help others out of their problems. The truth is we can worsen people's problems when we think we can help them. Only God can help or deliver anybody. There has to be a breaking of the outer man in order to release the Spirit. And for the outer man to break, we must become selfless, and not selfish. Don't go to people with a superiority as though you never had problems of your own. I like to be frank with people, and sometimes I know I can be hard. Everyone's situation is peculiar, and we don't know how God would want the matter to end. For this reason, I try to always point people to God. However, most people look to men rather than God. They say they want God, and more of him, but in their hearts they need a quick fix, and if man would give it to them, they are okay with that. Our motive may be pure for trying to help others, but it is not in every situation we think we can help. There is always something we can do, which is encourage and strengthen people. If we can't help their situation, let's not make it worse. Reminder: You may get some answers from men, but let your eyes always be on God. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Tue, September 8, 2020 Topic: Scarcely Saved? ✝️ The Spirit's Word: And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 1 Peter 4:18 KJV “If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will happen to the ungodly and the sinner?” 1 Peter 4:18 WMB False teachers are not necessarily evil. Some are Satan's agents, while others are ignorant. The ones who are ignorant are either wilfully ignorant, or just lazy to study God's Word for living. It is a terrible thing to open your Bible only when you want to teach, or for the sake of prideful knowledge. This Word of God that we preach is a sweet savour to some, and to others, a token of their impending perdition. 2 Corinthians 2:15-16. May God give us wisdom. First, I'll like to say that the salvation message must be preached to all at every level, and not just those who the enemy has blindfolded. Even Christians can miss it. We must preach salvation continually to checkmate our lives, if we are still in the faith. Apostle Paul told us: Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 2 Corinthians 13:5. If he saw the need to say that, it means a Christian can lose his salvation. "Once saved is always saved" is pure nonsense. It's a doctrine from hell. The opening verse is full of clarity. There is no other way you can interpret it. It is hard for the righteous to be saved. The righteous is the believer. We must persevere to be saved. We must continue in the faith to be saved. We must live a righteous and holy life to be saved. We must be in constant fellowship and communion with God to be saved. Salvation is something we ''hope'' for in the day of His appearance. Romans 8:24, 1 Thessalonians 5:8. The salvation we have now is by grace through faith. Ephesians 2:8. But when He shall come, it is faith, hope and love that He is coming for. He has to find these three in you. You can't live anyhow. You are not wiser than God. God will never be mocked by any mortal man. It's wisdom to find God through His Word. Seek Him more, and never be full of yourself that you think you have figured it all out. Let him who thinks he stand take heed lest he fall. 1 Corinthians 10:12. Don't be among those that make a merchandise of God's Word. The Word owns you, and not the other way around. It is your source, because the Word of God is God Himself. Let's stop deceiving ourselves. Reminder: Those who say you can't lose your salvation have many struggles with righteousness and holiness. Read Phillippians 2:12. |

Reminder: Those who say you can't lose your salvation have many struggles with righteousness and holiness. Read Phillippians 2:12. |
HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Mon, September 7, 2020 Topic: Programmed For Success ✝️ The Spirit's Word: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 KJV Talk about a happy Scripture in the Bible, the opening verse is one perfect example of such. It is one that encourages, consoles, comforts, motivates, gladdens, etc. Truly, all things work together for good to everyone that loves God, and who He has called. What this means is that you have recognised the calling of God in your life, accepted it, and now going in the same direction. God is more willing than we are to see His plans and purposes unfold on earth. Remember, we don't even know the end of our purpose. We only run with it, because we love God, and want to cooperate with Him. But, God is a perfect God. He knows all things, and has designed us to fit into a perfect maze. In my most recent years, I have discovered that God truly has everything planned out. The way and manner many things just fall into place keeps me wondering how it could have happened by chance. On the contrary, it is purely the Hand of God. The Bible tells us that: There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord , that shall stand. Proverbs 19:21. You may be in a position right now that doesn't look like God's hand is with you. It could even be a situation that puts you on the other side of God. However, God controls times and seasons. He factored all the circumstances into the equation. The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord , as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. Proverbs 21:1. The ways of God are beyond finding out all of it. We can only know just a little of it as the Spirit of God reveals to us. The depths and heights of God are boundless, and so, how can any human attain to it? God uses any base thing, or even a miserable situation to bring out the most glorious. He can do any thing. It is wisdom to love God, so that all things work for our good. All things work for bad to the haters of God, until they are completely humbled. And if they refuse to repent, then they pass away with the rest of the works and agents of evil. Loving God is being committed to Him. We are not equal with God, and will never be. Hence, we must submit to Him. Until we choose to submit and obey Him, it's a vicious circle of frustration. The truth is that God can't force you to love Him. One thing I have realised about loving God is that, it may seem to be difficult at first, but He takes you through the fire of trials to purify your motives and your thoughts about Him. After this, you'd never be moved. Reminder: We love him, because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Sun, September 6, 2020 Topic: Strength For The Last Days ✝️ The Spirit's Word: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. Revelation 12:12 KJV The evil in the world is on the increase. The enemy has a short time, and increased wrath. He wants to discredit God by taking as many with him, including believers, to the lake of fire. A Christian ought not to fear as long as he or she is standing strong. We need strength like never before in the coming days. It will take strength, faith and endurance to survive the onslaught of the enemy. Power alone would fail. Power is only effective where these three are in optimum level. We gather strength by waiting upon the Lord. The most important aspect of waiting upon God is hearing the voice of God. This is because: The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars yea, the Lord breaks the cedars of Lebanon. Psalms 29:4-5. When you hear His voice, you are in tune with what He is set to do. You also receive divine intelligence of all the enemy plans to do. How can you be perturbed? No matter what the enemy throws at you, you'll remain standing like Mount Zion that can't be moved. Psalm 125:1-3. Who can trust God better than the One who constantly hears His voice, and already knows how the matter will end? Elijah was a man of power, but fainted when the wicked Jezebel threatened him. 1 Kings 19:3-4. But he did return to them after going on a journey. He heard the voice of God, and was comforted. The enemy will do all manner of theatrics to make us fall. However, the Bible says: Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:10, 13. Waiting on God to hear from Him offers us the strength to resist temptation and the attacks of the enemy. Waiting is more effective when we fast, and separate ourselves from every distractions. It is not quite an easy thing to tune into the spirit, but it takes practice. Yes, it takes practice. The more you spend quiet times with God, a time comes when these seeming distractions no longer interfere. We must know that in this kingdom, everything works better when we persevere. Perseverance is the bedrock for every spiritual virtue to deliver. Confessions of the scriptures won't deliver for us when we don't do the Word, and persevere. Before Jesus started talking things to be, he persevered. Reminder: But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 1 Peter 5:10 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Sat, September 5, 2020 Topic: Finding Grace in His Eye ✝️ The Spirit's Word:... Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. Genesis 6:8-9 KJV No one can claim to be an encyclopedia of the ways of God. We all know that God is not a respecter of persons. Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11. He accepts those that fear Him, and work righteousness. The first one after the fall to find grace in God's eye was Noah. To find grace means to be highly favoured by God. God loves humanity, but He also has favourites. It is wisdom to know what qualifies one to be in this awesome position with God. Looking at what was said about Noah, He was a just man (who believed in God), perfect in his generations (obeyed God and His Word), and walked with God (was in constant fellowship with God). Noah's generation was a corrupt one. All flesh had been corrupted or mingled with the seed of fallen angels. I always find this part of the Bible difficult to imagine. But think about our generation, and how science is going deeper and deeper into depths of darkness. We hear of various experiments being carried out for different selfish and sinister missions. Noah was separated from the works of wickedness and violence that was normal in his day. For this reason was He singled out by God. The name Noah means rest. Knowing the importance God attaches to names, especially in those days, we can say He was a man of rest and peace. He rested in God as his only hope and salvation. The Bible tells us: the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. 2 Chronicles 16:9. A perfect heart is what qualifies us to find this special grace and favour in God's eye. What does it mean to have a perfect heart? The heart is the spirit. First, you must have a new heart which is to be born again, and be baptised in the Holy Spirit who becomes one with our spirit. From this point, we must remove every form of guile and deception from our hearts. We can lie to people, but we can't lie to God or self. God has nothing to do with hypocrites. He commands all to bring every hidden thing to the light. Luke 8:17. King David was a man after God's heart, because he was yielded to God. David didn't put up any resistance towards God. Acts 13:22. When we still try to cover our sins, or disregard any point of God's Word, we are far from having this perfect heart. There must be sincerity and truth. 1 Corinthians 5:8. Nathaniel was a man in all of Israel in whom was found no guile. Jesus testified that of him, and because of that, the Lord told him how he would see angels ascending and descending upon Him. When your heart is free of guile, and having sincerity and truth, the spiritual becomes your natural realm quite easily. John 1:47-51. Reminder: Perfection starts with godly sincerity and truth of heart. |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Fri, September 4, 2020 Topic: Build Up ✝️ The Spirit's Word: And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. Acts 20:32 You are a building in Christ, even a city. Matthew 5:14. To grow is different from being built up. We must desire the sincere milk of the Word that we may grow. 1 Peter 2:2. You can grow, but this is not the same as being built up, or fortified, or established. It is the Word of His grace that establishes us. I have met people who are sound in the Word, as it were, mature believers. However, they lack strength. We see children grow up, and that is normal. But we see some who are healthier than some others, or who are fitter than others. Spiritual strength is the hallmark of being built up by the Word of His grace. Spiritual muscles are a function of the Word of His grace. What does this means? We must be established in the truth that it is only the grace of God that makes us stand. This is not to say we don't do anything. This is where many miss it. I have heard some preachers say there is nothing left to do. Far from it. The Apostle Paul testified that: But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 1 Corinthians 15:10. It will be a grave mistake to attribute any of your works to what you receive in Christ. Yes, we must labour in the Word, in prayers, in fasting, in watching, in serving, etc. But we must only and always acknowledge that it is His grace that works in us. Think about it. We have received everything by His grace alone. He was the One who died for the world. It was His blood that was shed. This is why grace is the biggest thing in the new testament. But many have mistaken this for idleness, or slackness, or unrighteous living. It is not by works for anyone in Christ. Hear what Apostle Paul told us again: Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; 2 Corinthians 3:5. There is no boasting in this kingdom. If we must boast, we are only permitted to do it in God who has enabled us. 1 Corinthians 1:31. It is by His mercies we are not consumed. He is faithful, and never changes, so we are preserved. Next time you think of considering yourself in a sanctimonious fashion by comparing how much you fast or pray or study the Word, more than your brethren, you are wrong. It will be hard for you to receive from God, because you still cling to the magnitude of your works. Reminder: And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. Romans 11:6 KJV |

HEAVEN'S DIGEST: Truth, Light & Bread Thu, September 3, 2020 Topic: Don't Dishonour People ✝️ The Spirit's Word: Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. John 8:49 KJV The Jewish elders, scribes, and pharisees were always fond of disagreeing with Jesus. They couldn't stand him. They were always dishonouring Him. They criticised his speech and actions. It is a terrible thing to dishonour people. It is not compulsory to agree with everybody. However, we must not go about disparaging people. The Bible tells all to honour all men. 1 Peter 2:17. How can you receive honour when all you do is dishonour people? We reap what we sow in this life. It's okay to disagree with people, but we must do it on love. We ought to seek clarity, rather than become judges. Think about what Jesus went through. He only wanted to do what God assigned Him, but what did He get? Resistance at almost every turn. Remember, He tried to hide from all these in the beginning. He didn't start doing public miracles in an ostentatious manner. He would hide from time to time. This tells us the kind of personality He had: meek and humble. He was never seeking His own glory, neither did He seek it from men, yet many dishonoured him. So sad. When you dishonour people, you will be lightly esteemed anywhere you turn. Honour is a seed. Honour is not eye service, neither is it unnecessary flattery or pleasantry. We live in a generation where social media is fast corrupting the minds of people. Don't join such a bandwagon. They are only headed in the path of destruction. Is it such a terrible thing to respect people? Think about the work the enemy is doing in our generation. The level of selfishness, greed and pride has gotten to a peak. It is prophesied that: To begin with, you must know and understand this, that scoffers (mockers) will come in the last days with scoffing, [people who] walk after their own fleshly desires 2 Peter 3:3 AMPC. People who mock everything they see and hear, completely void of empathy and understanding. It's a time bomb age we're living in. In as much as grace prevails, God's Word stands sure. Everyone involved in such misdemeanor has a cup. If yours gets full, you must drink of it. Don't cast your lot with those of the world whose end is utter destruction. Jude 8-19. A word is enough for the wise. Reminder:... they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
