As regards to what he achieved. He had a career, he became an icon, his name is remembered, his face is globally recognized, teams he played for will never forget him. George Weah won medals and got the highest accolade the game has to offer, but guess who I and countless others would have paid to watch play in their hey days...JJ Okocha! Sure medals are important, but the entertainment value of the game, that's why we watch and that's what the man provided. Mikel Obi has won trophies, but how many of his highlight reels would you proudly share...Okocha created moments of magic over and over again both for the national team and at the clubs he played for and if didnt achieve anything I am sure we wouldn't be here wasting our time arguing over a non-achiever

This okocha is an overrated bloke. Soccer is not about coming to the pitch to show us dance steps and unnecessary skills that won't yield goals. All those you can go to brazil and do in street football. No one will question you.
