Yesterday, I Had The Privilege of Meeting One of Us (Mr. Samuel Aregbe) From The Group Who Came Visiting All The Way From Onitsha. We Had A Long Discussion on Collaborating On The Production of Garri And Destoned Local Rice From Cross River State - As We Expand Sales To Onitsha And Lagos State. His Allies Are Ready To Invest A Couple of Millions into The Production Machines Particularly in The Area of Cassava Processing into Garri. However; We Had A Long Time Together And I Showed And Explained To Him That We Had All The Necessary Machines For Garri Production Already. For Now; There Would Be Absolutely No Need For Us To Buy More Machines As What We Have On Ground Are All New Machines That is Capable of Producing 50 Bags of Garri On A Weekly Basis. What Is Exactly Needed For Our GARRI FOREX Between Cross River State And Other States in Nigeria To Become ACTIVE And SUCCESSFUL is To ACQUIRE TRANSPORTATION VEHICLES To Help Convey The Consignments of Garri Which We Will Be Producing On A Weekly Basis At A Cheaper Price! For Now; It Cost 6,000 Naira To Waybill 1 Basin of Garri From Cross River State To Lagos State. That's Quite On The High Side Which Is Not WISE For Business. Hence; To Get Rolling With Our GARRI FOREX From Cross River State To Other States in Nigeria; We Need To Obey The First Law of "MR NIGER D" Which is: MOVEMENT Tell Your Neighbor, It Is Time To Get Our INTERSTATE VEHICLES For Wise Food Merchandises. Tell Your Neighbor, It is Time To MOVE...!

10 KG of Maize Is Needed To Produce 25 KG of Chicken Feeds. 7.5KG of Soybeans is Needed To Produce 25 KG of Chicken Feeds Too. Now Using Upper Price Limit; 1 Tonne of Maize is 700,000 Naira. That is 1,000 KG of Maize = 1 Tonne = 700,000 Naira Assuming The Price of 10 KG of Maize To Be "x" So, 10 KG of Maize = 10KG = x Naira 1,000 KG = 700,000 Naira After Cross Multiplying, We Have: 700,000 × 10 = 1,000 × (x) x = 7000,000 ÷ 1,000 =7,000 Naira. So, The Cost of 10 KG of Maize That Will Be Utilized To Produce Your 25 KG of Chicken Feeds is Presently Costed At 7,000 Naira. Note This. Now, Let's Do The Same Thing For Soybeans. 7.5 KG of Soybeans Is Needed To Produce 25 KG of Chicken Feeds. 7.5KG of Soybeans is Needed To Produce 25 KG of Chicken Feeds Too. Now Using Upper Price Limit; 1 Tonne of Maize is 680,000 Naira. That is 1,000 KG of Maize = 1 Tonne = 680,000 Naira Assuming The Price of 7.4 KG of Maize To Be "y" So, 10 KG of Maize = 10KG = y Naira 1,000 KG = 680,000 Naira After Cross Multiplying, We Have: 680,000 × 7.5 = 1,000 × (y) y = 5,100,000 ÷ 1,000 = 5,100 Naira. So, The Cost of 7.5 KG of Soybeans That Will Be Utilized To Produce Your 25 KG of Chicken Feeds is Presently Costed At 5,100 Naira

This is The Reason Maize And Soybeans Are Some of The Most Demanded Agricultural Products By Processing Companies in Nigeria. And As The Demands of These Crops Continue To Increase; The Cost of These Items Begin To Get Higher Because of Limited Supply Forcing Alot of Companies To Import Maize And Soyabeans From Other African Countries. Presently, The Price of 1 Tonne of Maize is Between 640,000 Naira To 700,000 Naira. And The Price of 1 Tonne of Soyabeans is Presently 600,000 Naira To 680,000 Naira. Now; Going By This Analysis; We Can Clearly Calculate The Cost Analysis of Amount of Maize And Soyabeans That Is Always Needed in Producing 25 KG of Chicken Feeds. For Maize; To Know The Amount of KG of Maize That Will Be Needed In Producing 25KG of Balanced Chicken Feeds: We Say: 25 KG × 40/100 = 10 Kg For Soybeans; To Know The Amount of KG of Soybeans That Will Be Needed In Producing 25KG of Balanced Chicken Feeds: We Say: 25 KG × 30/100 = 7.5 Kg |

Here is A Picture of Myself And My Wife @RevenuesBoost (on Nairaland) Utilizing The Large Space @ The Back of Our House For Yam-Ugwu Sac Farming. We Started This Home-grown Sac Farming System Earlier in January This Year 2024 During The Dry Season. We Live in A Farming Resident in Cross River State Where We Have Access To Flowing Stream Water. We Intentionally Moved Out From Our Previous Residents With ZERO SPACE And Limited Water Supply So As To Ensure That Our Home-Farm Becomes A Reality. This is Something Anyone Can Easily Achieve Too. This Picture Was Taken in The Month of February. It Took Less Than 1 Month for The Water Yams To Sprout Their Leaves. It Took Less Than 2 Months For The Yams To Sprout Too. Sandy-Loamy Soil Mixed with Black Ashes From The Burnt of Trees Were Mixed Up And Filled into The Nylon For Proper Planting.... This was also the same preparation done for the Yam Sac Farming System. The Burnt Ashes mixed with The Soil Was Done To Fortify The Soil With Necessary Potassium Needed For The Crops To Do Well.

Earlier This Year; President Tinubu Declared A State of Food Emergency in Nigeria. What This Means is That Nigeria As A Country Solely Depend On Imported Foods into The Country. All of These Put Together Gives Us The Clear Sign Why Food Items Will Continue To Increase in Nigeria. When We Analyse All of These Shortcomings Altogether; EXPERIENTIALLY, As Practical Farmers; We Are Able To Conclude That One Viable Solution To All of These Shortcomings is The Urban-Rural Sac Farming System That Can Give Almost Every Nigerian Youth The Opportunity To Grow Some Particular Food Crops in Small or Large Scale.

It's 8:00 PM.... Our Webinar Recap Starts Now! It's No Longer NEWS That The Price of Food Items in Nigeria Continues To Increase Every Other Day.... One of The Reason For This is Simply Because of The Increasing Population of Nigerians Depending on Low Supply of Grown Foods in Nigeria. The Insecurity Challenges That Has Been Plaguing Most of Our Rural Farmers Particularly in Benue State (The Food Basket of The Nation) Has Also Contributed To The Hazardous Effect of Continuos Increase in The Price of Food Items in Nigeria. To This Effect; It Is No Brainer That The Cost of Food Items Would Continue To Increase in Nigeria. The High Cost of Transporting Food Items From The Rural Farmgates To The Urban Settlements is Another Factor For The Increasing Cost of Food In Nigeria. This is Another Major Bane Contributing To The Extreme High Cost of Foods Particularly in The Urban Settlements And Cities At Large. Alot of People Living in The Cities Would Love To Go Into Cultivation of Certain Crops That Would Help Them Reduce The Cost of Buying Some Certain Food Items.... However; Availability of Arable Lands in The Cities is Another Shortfall for Most People Especially When Your Compounds Are Cemented.
