The truth is simple. THERE IS NO WAY TO PAY CORRECT DUTY IN COTONUE AND NIGERIA WITOUT THE CAR BEING MORE COSTLY. Most cars that comes through Cotonue only do that for 1 reason: To avoid paying duty.

There is no way to avoid duty in Cotonue. But there is a way around it in Nigeria. And that is what people do. Regardless of what they tell you, don't buy the story.

Any car that ship from america and deliver to cotonue will pay BOTH duty in cotonue and Nigeria if you want to follow the law. That will make car more expensive.

Otherwise you get around the nigerian duty to save money. Truth is biter buy poeple will not listen.
