u might have to consider pre-order at least u see the car b4 it ships About 5 weeks to arrive Lemme know |
Axle swap is quite common as long as the tonnage is put into consideration |
Gear ratio shouldn't be too much of a problem. Since the newer has a higher gear ratio than older one. U should be fine |
shouldn't be any. As long as it fits and its the same rating. You cannot replace a 20to axle with 15ton and not have problem if you overload. it might break Otherwise it should be fine By the way i have a R tractor ready for shipment if interested |
A car this nice and this exclusive should have been driven to a nice and clean part of the compound before taking the pics. This pics are taking away from the beauty and appeal of the car Happy Sales |

No matter how wells its done, it simply cannot sell as high as the so called "normal hand" Selling a car is hard enough these days taking into consideration the stiff competition and low funds in circulation for people to buy cars. Now you wanna add the huge factor of selling a converted automobile ![]() Our people will get away with what they can get a way with. If you even buy all the necessary part, who is to say that your mechanic will not "manage" a part under there and sell the good part you bought? Anything can happen. this is Naija afterall And don't get into the dreaded possible electrical issues that might arise when not done properly. You can look into heavy duty trucks. Those can be sold with lesser stress Regards |
how far to express? |
we are here |
Nicely converted |
This duty might be an issue at SOME customs point. Seems too low. |

bimppyola:2004/05 is the same thing. 2006 model is a different design altogether. If you want to look yourself, check out: www.cars.com www.autotrader.com I can help you pre-order this one attached. It is from a dealer's auction (you have to be a registered dealer to have access to that site) Total landing cost is : N1.9m - No Less Lagos Cleared
|
bimppyola:Mostly clean cars. What vehicle are you trying to buy? Post the ebay link. i am based in Florida |
solid3:That's fine |
ClearYourGoods:Mannheim is a DEALER ONLY auction |
bimppyola:Really depends on your plan for the vehicle. If you plan selling it, it might be better off to find something on those site with very minimal damage cos the price structure in Nigeria allows very little room to make money cos 80-90% of vehicle in Nigeria are salvaged. However, if you are looking for clean title non accidented vehicles, you can check: www.cars.com www.autotrader.com Good luck |
bimppyola:Not sure what you are trying to do but when you buy your car let your agent worry about picking up and shipping to you. When it arrives get a clearing agent to clear for you. As much as i cherish what you are trying to do, clearing a vehicle is not what a regular person without a proper knowledge of the process and procedure should try and attempt. Whatever money you are trying to save might actually be wasted in rookie mistake that might end up costing you more in the long run. For example, you will need a registered agent with the Nigerian customs to sign some forms for you among other things. Most of these questions you are asking, alludes to someone in the beginner stage. If you wanna learn about the job, try and get a someone to shadow and teach you. If you wanna save money trying to clear your own car, might not be good idea at this stage. You can save money by performing your own surgery or representing yourself in court, but is it a good idea? My advise to you is that get an agent to do it and you shadow that person for a while after few shipment, you can decide if you wanna do it. Remember, being able and knowing how to do something doesn't make it a good idea that you should do it. |

bimppyola:The ownership document is only good for the port authority overseas to ship the vehicle. Once the vehicle is shipped, you only need Bill of lading to claim your vehicle in Nigeria |
bimppyola:It is the responsibility of whoever is arranging the shipping. If the seller is arranging the shipping, he WILL MOST LIKELY be responsible for the cost of sending the bill of laden. However, if the buyer is arranging his own shipping, the seller is out of the picture. You cannot expect the cost to be passed on to the dealer after you have picked up your car and left. Remember that these rules are not written in stone, some dealer will refuse to be involved in shipping the vehicle not to talk of even paying a penny in the cost of the bill of laden especially if they are not familiar with shipping process. Their job is to sell and what happens after that is buyer's responsibility. Most dealers that ships are doing it mostly out of courtesy and helping out buyer Regards |

tsdarkside:There is iron inside that is why all of it does not fall into pieces. The problem is the concrete mix. People want the cheapest stuff. That is what they will get |
Still don't understand why the poster comes here to complicate things. Most people will not know you are talking about Honda Pilot. Where in Nigeria have you seen people refer to a Pilot as MRV? You should be getting more response to your question if you decide to keep things simple. Simplicity, is timeless. ![]() |
slim147:"REAL" car dealers (whatever that means) won't be here trolling for low offers. Exchange rates have gone up. Average car cost N300k to clear. add another N200k to ship. Plus roughly N60-80k to transport to port. Its all adding up. Buying and profit is not added. That is why a neat Camry pencil is going between N850k - N900k depending on neatness. But people still want to pay N700k or N750k for it. If a shady dealer sell a car with no proper duty and the car got impounded, hen they start crying here that they have been duped ![]() Better to focus on very neat Naija used Truth is bitter but easier to manage. |
