Ovie56:James brings another dimension of a natural 10 to the mix if brought in. Modric is not getting younger. And sentimentally I LOVE James. |
Miremoses1:While everyone is looking at Poch and Allegri. Flo-P may just make Guti the new coach. At least he has done so well with the Juvenile A |
Neymar1095:Mad Man ![]() |
Miremoses1:The world cup will determine a lot. If he excels peren. Na to ship Ceballos back to Betis on loan or Liverpool go happen be that. |
The honest truth is the coach coming has a big shoe to fill. Same way Barca fans refused to accept any other coach after Guardiola. Madridistas will complain about anyone brought in except he wins a Treble back to back. ![]() All.the guys mentioned above are good. Every league has only 3 trophies on the cards for its 18 - 20 clubs sides in the prime league. So not every coach will win a trophy. Winning a trophy comes with a lot of hard work, right tools (players), luck (officials and injuries) and resilience. It takes a lot of grace to have the mix available for you to win any trophy. Me oooo. Am just waiting for Papa Perez to announce anyone. We have seen them come and go. And we will see the next coach come and go too. Hala Madrid. |
“Zinedine Zidane shocked the entire world of football by announcing his departure from Real Madrid right after conquering the third straight Champions League title for the club last Saturday. The French manager explained why he decided to leave Madrid "I made the decision to step down. I know it’s weird, but this team needs a change to keep winning, they need a different perspective, a different way of doing things and that’s why I decided to leave,” said Zidane. “I love Real Madrid and president Perez,” he added. “This is not good-bye, just until later,” said Perez. “I want to thank him for all the effort and dedication. He deserves some time off,” added the president as Zidane explained that he won’t coach next season. “It’s simple, you just have to know when to stop. I do this for the sake of the club, it would’ve been extremely tough to keep winning with me as the coach next season. We saw this in La Liga, I don’t forget those moments. This is not about me staying and then completing a bad season next year,” explained Zidane. “My best memory here is when the president trusted in me. As a coach, the best thing for me was winning La Liga. And the worst time for me was losing against Leganes in the Copa del Rey,” he said. “This doesn’t have anything to do with the decisions we were going to make this summer. It’s part of the job. This is just a change we needed so that he club can keep winning,” concluded the French coach, now clearly a club legend. |
Yonce: AtYourCervix:The question should be when was and how can this be breaking news? ![]() Something that has been known since forever. Abegi na another noise maker wantingbtraffic to their blogs His contract will be improved but definitely not at par with Messi nor Neymar. Simply because he is not getting younger |
engrMikemd:5 goals from a Real Madrid or former Real Madrid player. |
tesppidd:And this is coming from a someone that declared himself a Messi Fan instead of a Barca fan. At least we will play against your country in the group stages. Insha Allah Nigeria will win likewise Croatia will beat your Argentina (Modric and Kovacic) and you and your idol will watch the rest of the tournament on TV. |
fredoooooo:You Are Very Welcome Bro |
weedtaker:Honestly... I have been before he joined madrid and is still a fan of Mourinho. Truth is the success of the team today is a combination of many inputs. Mourinho made them have the fighting spirit. He made Ramos a center back that we all appreciate. Ancelloti brought out the calmer perspective. He made us win even without being brutish. He instilled more possession football into the squad. Benitez...he tried making us more defensive sort of Zidane improved the comradeship of the team. And he is good at man management. I thank Mou for giving us the years although it was too turbulent. But it had its benefits. He was somewhat unlucky too with loosing to Barca and Bayern in the UCL semis. |
I have tried giving a business point of view to whether CR should be let go or given a pay rise. But I would like to address some comments I don't feel pleased about. A wise man once said the greatest asset of any nation is its citizens. Hence the greatest asset any company (football club) has is its players. The history of any nation is incomplete Without the ciizens. Likewise the history of Real Madrid is not complete without mentioning its players. Simply because it is the players that make up the history of the club. We won't have La Decimal nor La Undecima nor La DuoDecima nor the 3peat without talking of the heroics of these Stars. They create the history for us. They create wonderful memories just as some replacements of the 1998-2002 squad gave us the records of being knocked of of R16 for 6 straight seasons. Its not proper to denigrate them. Ronaldo is irreplaceable in the history of Real Madrid just like our other greats. If he leaves or is forced out my opinion is that we will bear the consequences. So far Zidane has been working on the team surviving without CR. This I believe is work in progress. If not we won't have scaled the semifinals and won the finals. Hence his presence is needed as a leader and to also nurture the budding talents on how to with stand pressure. Or can you comfortably say any of our players can withstand same level of scrutiny and pressure CR is subjected to both on and off the pitch? True that Real Madrid also provided the platform for him to shine but providing the platform is one leg. Making use of it for good of both parties is another. Hence a symbiotic relationship is best for all of us. A true leader always strives for a WIN-WIN situation. That is what I expect from us towards our legends. Hala Madrid |
We meet again first match next season |
HopefulLandlord LordAdamX 2 lords chatting all through the night. Una don try. The way I see it is its neither black nor white. Look at it this way since it seems we all agree its all about business. Whether we realise that Real Madrid FC is not the only business in this matter is another discourse for another day. For those of us working in target or budget driven environments, we work with KPI's (key performance indicators). If you meet it you get FULLY MET or EXCEED EXPECTATIONS scores and a promotion and/or salary raise and/or bonus at the end of the company year end. So the question is; Has the club met expectations? Has the squad met expectations? Has CR or Bale met expectations? You can argue for or against. But in both sides what will be taken into cognisance is the dependencies to achieving the set targets, the unexpected events that occurred hampering meeting those targets and the feasibility of those targets. If any one of us delivers for our companies we all want a promotion+salary increase+profit sharing at the company year end. However what level of promotion and/or salary increase and/or profit sharing we deserve is weighed and decided. If we don't agree with it we as employees can choose to move to other companies and often times competition. The truth is IF and WHEN we move the company has lost valuable experience, expertise of how things work for the company as well as loyal customers, ideas and initiatives, and secrets of the company to competition. If the company feels they can do without us they gladly accept the resignation. However if they don't have a viable alternative they sit us down and renegotiate us staying to continue working for them. Now the questions; Has the club revenue improved ocer the years and this year? Has the squad been successful this year and past years? Has CR delivered this season and other seasons? I think we all agree YES for the above. Now the next questions: Do we have an alternative for CR? Can the club comfortably thrive as at today if he leaves? A double YES to the above is the only instance that the club should call his bluff. If any of the 2 is a NO or a DOUBT then Perez just has to give him an improved contract. Hala Madrid |

WORD FOR WORD TRANSLATION OF THE RONALDO INTERVIEW Q: Was this perhaps the hardest final? CR7: All of the finals are hard. We knew that Liverpool were going to go hard. All English teams usually do, but we’re the just winners. Q: Whose *Chilena* was better, yours or Gareth’s? CR7: Doesn’t matter! What matters is we’ve made history!! That’s the most important thing! Q: This winning project, with you spearheading it, needs to continue CR7: Right now I need to enjoy this moment. Later in the coming days I’ll give an answer to fans, who have always been at my side. It’s been really wonderful to be part of Real, in the next few days I’ll talk more, ok? Q: This sounds like a Goodbye?? CR7: Nah, no. I just want to enjoy with my friends right now, in the next days I’ll give a definitive answer. Q: Tell us something optimistic at least! CR7: Just enjoy the moment! We’ve made history, that’s what we wanted to do. A particular player’s future isn’t important right now. What is important is that we’ve made history! Q: I’ll give you the mic so you can tell the fans something optimistic. CR7: Thank you to all of the fans!! We’ve made history and we’re very happy |
haymekus:This is whybhe has been dissing Bale and Marcelo. He wants a stop to the dynasty |
