Fourcade: dem dey yarn us say Uyo na suffer suffer place for koppas...in terms of accomodation.Hmmmmmn Uyo! A bit expensive compare to other LGs... Ministries or Public schools ooo, no accomodation xcept u're posted to a private organisation. Some LGs under ikot ekpene zone i heard give wat they (call bush) allowance in form fud stuffs...garri, plantains, yams etc while some like eastern obolo LG pays corpers N2,000 montly (not sure sha) wich reduce cost of living of the corps membres... My bro, in fact just pray for a better and favourable place.... however, state capital go still be capital oo |
funsheezy: Hey any platoon 2 member here. In all sincerity I don't really like dis campReally? are u not enjoying the gudies and grooves? maybe cos guyz are not many... I heard there are many yoruba tribe this tym... Just endure, 26 is here |
Fourcade: hello oooDon't know bro, I'm an MDGs (FACOR) volunteer |
babaearly: ogaBuh Uyo is not truely big (land mass now) compare to other towns... Hv u being to areas like, eket, nsit ibom, ikot abasi, abak, ika LG, ikot ekong, mpat enin and even ikot ekpene etc, if u 've, then, u know uyo is just a small town... u can even get this through the state's geographical map |
Fourcade: parade tinz...i thank God its almost over.9s platoon is 7, always @ their best in evry activity... Futball match, cooking competition, sanitation etc... buh not like my BEST platoon 8, we were known as the First in all competitions! Mbok, mk u guys deh update me on wetin deh go on there....though I camped @ jos camp, there in Bukuru, Plateau state but visited Nsit Atai camp during the batch C orientation camp n love the place |
medube: @usefaith is there a possibility that they may not decamp them and rather ask them to stay in camp? If so what can I do to make sure she does come out tomorrow or next?Actually, all I know is that they (nysc) treat the issue as a general one... I do not hv any link as per any individual/personal assitance... Also a Batch B corps member here... Advice u meet any of the nysc officials there for more info... Thanks |
Fourcade: now @ Akwa ibomOh! Gud bro... Thank God for journey mercy... May He see u through |
medube: Thanks.Hp she's wif her marriage certificate as this is one of the requirements needed for redeployment as far as pregnant women n married women are concerned...the redeployment process 'll be communicated to them openly @ d parade ground after the swearing 2mao as u've mentioned...she shld just mk sure her all her necessary documents 're wit her n try to listen to information as regards that ... Wish her all da best |
medube: Hey guys anyone got any info on pregnant women and AK camp? I dropped my wife there today and was wondering if they decamp pregnant women after orientation or so? They haven't really told them anything. What NYSC does is that after registration of all corps members, the married women, pregnant women and the sick people would be given redeployment forms to fill after which they might hv submitted all the documents (evidences) backing thier state of conditions. They 'll thereafter be redeployed to their state of choice having undergone certain procedure |
Fourc@de:Not yet, I am batch B corps member here in Akwa Ibom, but 'll by God's Grace be there by next wk tuesday... Do have safe trip bro |
Fourcade: okay...so back to my questionthere is no direct bus to Nsit Atai (camp) from AKTC park xcept in an occasional cases like dat of camping (if @ all there would be), all you hv to do is take keke (tricycle) to Plaza, walk down to Oron road and ask where they board Nsit Atai buses...see you all |
Fourcade: Where is akTc park?...Lag or Akwa IbomAKTC is in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state, that is their bus terminal (last b/stop)... |
Fourcade: is the transport from aktc park FOC?You mean from lagos? |
extrovert6: Which of the buses is best to use from Lagos to Akwa Ibom and where is their park located in Lagos& how much will it costAkTc or promiseland @ ojuelegba park 're the best options...5,500 A/C buses and 4,500 non A/C...last b/stop is aktc park, uyo...in case u arrive late... The Muslim corpers association of nigeria (mcan) bros n sisters 're waiting 4 you @ the park to tk care of u... Or call 07032306943/08024223591 (amir) and the NCCF waiting for the christians likewise, reason is dat nsit atai (camp location) is barely 1 hour frm aktc park)...wish u all da best |

chidonzone: Pls how do u go abt ur redeployment.pls share!!!Officially, married, pregnant women n the sick c/members 're the only one permitted to seek redeployment but due to the state of insecurity in the state then, we were all granted open redeployment...we were all given forms to fill during the camping period with which we chose a state of our choice but redeployed to where i think c/members were needed and the reason for akwa ibom in my own case |
I am a batch B corps member... initially posted to Plateau state but later applied for redeployment on security reason @ the orientation camp (bukuru)... presently serving in akwa ibom state |
