SportsRe: Relax Gunners!!! Ozil Isn't Winning You Any Trophies. by usewisdom:
Sportunes: Throughout the summer, Arsenal fans have been irritated and upset with Wenger due to his failure to sign his reported targets. First it was Gonzalo Higuain, then Luiz Suarez and more comically Wayne Rooney. The Frenchman was window shopping as vigorously as an excited teenage girl. It was amusing really. Wenger's only buys were Yaya Sanogo, a relatively unknown striker from France and old player Mathieu Flamini who was released by Milan. Most Arsenal fans had given up, until transfer deadline day. First it was goalkeeper Marc Viviano then Arsenal and Arsene Wenger shocked the entire footballing world by announcing the signing of Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid for a club record fee of €47 million. It was a shocker!!! Arsenal fans trooped out to celebrate their marquee signing and some fans would have felt their 'In Wenger we trust' banner was finally justified. The Frenchman must have felt a big signing would have appeased his club's angry fans. He was right. However sorry to burst your bubble gunners but signing Ozil aint winning you trophies.

Don't get me wrong. The German is definitely a world class player with bags of talent. As you must have read on this blog, I had compared Ozil with both Iniesta and Xavi and concluded that Mesut was better than the two (HERE). Statistically that is. Arsenal can do with the German in terms of his pure play making ability and his impressive goal assist ratio. He created over 90 goals while at Madrid and notched up 27 goals. Madrid however won only three trophies with such impressive numbers.

Arsenal's problems are deeper than signing Ozil. Wenger sold or released about 15 players in the off season and didn't recruit any notable replacements. The backline is as suspect as ever with Thomas Vermaelen as injury prone as ever and Laurent Koscielny a tackle away from a red card. Per Metersacker seems like Wenger's most stable defender but even him gets caught out. The Aston Villa match was a warning shot.

The defensive midfield also needed an enforcer and Wenger failed to bring in one. Flamini is more like a stop gap and doesn't offer a long term solution. Frankly he is past his prime. Luiz Gustavo was a potential target but a more serious minded Wolfsburg snapped him up. The wide areas also needed fresh legs. Theo Walcott has improved but can be inconsistent while Lukas Podolski looks awkward in wide areas. Chamberlain is coming good but can't be trusted in the big games. The biggest mistake was not signing another striker to compliment Oliver Giroud. The Frenchman has finally found his scoring boots but an injury means only Yaya Sanogo and a match rusty Nicklas Bendtner are the only backups. Not good.

For a league as long and brutal as the Premier League, Arsenal don't have the squad to compete for the long haul and another 4th place finish seems in order. That is not even guaranteed with cross town rivals Tottenham spending furiously and Liverpool looking solid this start to the season. Ozil doesn't solve all these problems.

Back to the German. Even though I'm a big fan, Ozil has many flaws that sometimes shadow his abilities. Though he has impressive stats, he tends to drift off in the big games and becomes a bystander. He gets tired way too quickly and hardly finished a game at Madrid. To me he was the 70 minute man. His work rate is poor, a reason Madrid sold him. His failure to track back infuriated Ancellotti in the first game of the season against Betis. He can also be wasteful in front of goal, missing glorious chances that should be tucked away. Also he gets dispossed off the ball too easily. That's was all in the Spanish League, a league known to be slow paced. How he will cope in the fast and furious Premier League remains to be seen. One things for sure, 90 mins games aren't visible for the playmaker.

Its been a brillaint transfer widow, one that was interesting to the last second. Arsenal must be credited as the club that made the most sensational move. Their fans thinks so as well, jubilating on the streets and boasting on Twitter. Its unfortunate all the euphoria won't land a trophy. Even with Mesut Ozil.

the bolded make me laugh.

Psychologically, the reverse is the case, but it's not general sha. Ask people who have encountered it and they we tell you. People will doubt the value when offered cheap than when offered expensive.

Mind you, having a website has added to that value perceived...

Do you know that my bigdata domain was rejected because I reduced the price at sedo? Yes! Some folks feel that way. I no get strength to stress the point.

However, I get your point too. Good luck.
You're right somehow, but pls can u tell us why the NameCheap exist? grin They shouldn't have use the word ''Cheap'' if they think people will doubt the value.

Secondly, go to cheapdomainnames.com and see whats happening

Especially, go to cheap-domainnames.com and see whats up there

Not only that oo, go to cheapdomainnames.co.uk and see the hand of God of domain there grin

I understand you, but these days, what will attract domain buyers is what top domainers applying, if you're talking about your own personal view when you're buying it yourself, thats another story entirely, but you're not buyer, you're the seller. grin

mikelreal: Dunno bout the general cost, but hostin shudnt be an issue,d last time I checked we saw one hostin site chargin $0.98 /yr, and thier re other free webhostin too(like d one i used for cerdy.com). developin the website is d main point., as for traffic that one is very easy, not a problem..afteral u dont get traffic in one day, takes a lil time n effort. Concerning spammin n blacklistin, dunno how that will happen,if we all focus on just mindin our business i.e strictly on marketing our individual domains.
This is a good package oo, had it been i know i would have bought the $0.98 shocked, i bought my hosting for $4 plus per month at Arvixe

Jamji: Lets give a big kudos to dot.com. he seriously deserves my respect, when he tried to show us more than 30 ways to sell our domains and posted it, and he got banned for that. His thereturnofamebo.com forum section for domain business has great potential, maybe we should be active there too.
i can build the website, simple like you describe. we can link our listings to other places we are selling them like his forum.
the site you propose will be like a membership site where you can list your domain and different places you list for sale. the good thing about this is the traffic you drive to your site that can help you sell your domain in the long run.
i can help with a reliable free hosting for this to cut cost.
Yes oo grin, i love thereturnofamebo.com Domain Market Place section, if possible we can be active there since na free, it is also a good idea for the site too to list domain, for instance just like trachomatreatments.com , its a good idea.

Can a student work part time?
How are you coping with their Language?
Is there job there?
And between France, Germany, Netherland and Uk where would you recommend for student and how possible it is to stay there after graduation?
Fados4sure, Studying in the UK is by far better than in France.

I've seen more than 6 Nigerians that eventually transferred from France schools to schools in the UK.

Studying in the UK is a smart choice!

I can give you on my own like 15 to 20 reasons, though it might be expensive than in France, but what we are saying here is your life and academic achievements and certs recognition world wide, for instance,

1. Excellent Academic Opportunities
2. Affordable Education
3. Great Placements
4. Fun and Engaging Studies
5. International Tolerance
6. Improve Your English
7. Easy to Finance
8. Gateway to Europe

10. Awesome Culture

The UK is the second most popular choice for international students worldwide (second only to the United States). If we are talking of Multiculturalism and tolerance, UK is the king and by far better than France.

The UK is well known for supporting a multicultural community. The UK is tolerant to all religions and to people from all over the world. As a matter of fact, the international student body in the UK contains students from China, India, Greece, Ireland, USA, Germany, France, Malaysia, Nigeria, Hong Kong, and many other nations from all over the world. SportsSwansea City Win Capital One Cup by usewisdom(op): 7:08pm On Feb 24, 2013
Swansea City have become the first Welsh club to win a major English trophy since 1927.

Swansea claimed their first major trophy as they brushed aside League Two Bradford to win the Capital One Cup.
The Swans went ahead when Michu's shot was parried by keeper Matt Duke and Nathan Dyer slotted in at the far post.
Michu guided in a strike through the legs of Carl McHugh and Dyer rifled in an effort to add to Swansea's lead.
Duke was sent-off for fouling Jonathan De Guzman, who scored the resulting penalty and sidefooted in a late fifth for Premier League side Swansea.

Whenever they're winning, they keep playing with the ball, they always believe that if they're leading thats end of the game.
