lol..
I'm gbagyi, by tribe.
Even my people has had their disagreement but it still doesn't change the fact that we are united north except of course you might exclude the idomas of benue as well as yorubas of kwara..
Aside that, its a one northern and we disagree to agree.
My brother, you are wrong, am equally Gbagyi from fct, I see myself as a middle beltan, not someone from north, if indeed am from north as you claimed, the fct minister should by all means be a native of fct.

PoliticsBREAKING: Suspected Taraba Kidnap Kingpin Wadume Arrested by Ushafaiza(op): 2:23pm On Aug 20, 2019
Hamisu Wadume, a suspected kidnap lord in Taraba State, has been re-arrested, PREMIUM TIMES has learnt from official sources.

It was not immediately clear when and where Mr Wadume was taken into custody, but a source informed about the development informed PREMIUM TIMES about it on Tuesday.

Mr Wadume was sighted at the Force Headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday.

The police are expected to release a statement on his arrest later.

Mr Wadume was the ‘high profile’ kidnapping suspect arrested by the police on August 6. He was being driven to Jalingo by the police team when soldiers opened fire on them along Ibi-Wukari Road, killing three police officers and a civilian.

The attack immediately sparked friction between police and the Nigerian Army, as well as a nationwide apprehension, prompting President Muhammadu Buhari to order an investigation. The investigation panel, which includes persons with police and military background, was initially scheduled to conclude its findings last week, but the team sought additional two weeks to wrap up.

Details soon…

PoliticsNorthern Group Drums Support For El-rufai On Anti-godfatherism by Ushafaiza(op): 1:32pm On May 20, 2019
Northern Group Drums Support For el-Rufai On Anti-godfatherismPublished 5 mins ago on 5 mins ago By AZA MSUE Kaduna A northern group under the auspices of Allied Vanguard for Defence of Democracy has thrown its weight behind governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state on his anti godfatherism comnent, describing the responses by former governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s royalists as unfortunate.

The group’s leader, Mohammed Sabiu Turaki said Tinubu camp had carelessly jumped aboard a flight without actually knowing its destination. According to the group, the lame response by the Tinubu loyalists only goes to confirm the level at which Tinubu has manipulated the total available activity in the South West political environment.

“The desperate response, though grossly inadequate, is a further testimony to Tinubu’s entrenched fear of an imminent loss of control of almost a decade old grip of the southwestern political space. “Tinubu is afraid that Elrufai’s comments could awaken the spirit of self-preservation in the younger generation of South Westerners signalling an early demise of an era of domination by Tinubu and his ilk,” Turaki said in the statement.

The Group warned what it called Tinubu’s hired troubleshooters to respect democratically defined extents and limits as they attempt to protect the diminishing era of godfatherism. “Governor Elrufai was right to have suggested that a political space devoid of the undue dominance of godfathers is achievable in Nigeria including the Lagos axis where Tinubu holds sway. “It is also true that Governor Elrufai has uprooted the pillars of fascist godfatherism and flushed it out of the political system of Kaduna state.

“The fear of the imminent reality of Elrufai exporting the ‘end of the godfathers syndrome to other places, must have informed Tinubu’s careless reaction that only exposed his desperation for the nation’s presidency in 2023. “It must also have informed his desperate move to disrupt the northern voter strength by attempting to dislocate the region’s political hub domiciled in Kano.

“This follows his perception of an impending defeat in the battle for the control of the soul of the National Assembly after the North had seen through his antics and is poised to scuttle it,” Turaki said. Turaki reaffirmed his group’s commitment to the upcoming struggle for a genuinely new political order advocated by Elrufai. “For the avoidance of doubt, we are solidly behind Elrufai and his anti-godfatherism drive and shall spare no effort in promoting and protecting it,” he said.

A lot of you people commenting here are saying so out of ignorance, the people you see there are natives of FCT, who are protesting the planned imposition of a non native by Oshiomole and Osinbajo, FCT has only one Senate seat, and Two house of representatives, which are always won by an Indigenes because of their population far outnumber that of Non indigenes in FCT, as at now, the native aspirants and the entire FCT APC Exco want Indirect primary, because most of the delegates are indigenese and will vote for a native as their candidate. while the government candidates (non indigenes want direct primaries). btw am a native of FCT

Overtime i have observed Atiku seem to posses practical and well detail plan on how Nigeria leadership issues can be handle, since 2014 APC primary election, he made available through several platforms on how to tackle Nigeria problems if voted into office, but Nigerians didn't give him the opportunity, now he is doing same and despite the hardship people are passing through under PMB, some people are still shouting Sai BABA, this time now around Nigerians should consider someone with practical records of achievements as an individual than this phantom mai gaskiya who has impoverished the masses, and for me ATIKU is the man.
BTW am a foundation member of APC (CPC to APC)

APC should better do something urgent or forget 2019. btw am an APC member, since 2012, CPC to APC, and i have evidence if you doubt. cos i contested election election CPC before the merger.

vannessa7:
hmm marginalisation indeed, this people that occupy all the government parastatals and offices all over the fct, they discriminate against non indigene, this people that are so primitive and the relocation of the fct to Abuja for all these decades has not made much difference in their level of civilization they live in mud houses and their juju is epic, witchcraft is their tradition and many people have regretted moving to Abuja because the warfare they entered is even worse than the one they runfrom in the village, during rainy season they use themselves to plant yam as many mysterious death start taking place, their traditional cloth is black. the federal government have made them very rich through compensation for their land acquired yet they are shouting marginalisation, it is only those people affluent enough to live within fct centre that can escape their wahala but the rent inside town is worse than in Lagos island and only top government officials and some rich folks live there. but if you have to live among gbagyi people you are on your own, I relocated back to Lagos last year after my husband died mysteriously.
Madam i sympathize with your lose, but your description of a Gbagyi person is nothing but false, for a fact, we are hospitable to a fault, which is why some people take us for granted and accuse of docility, so am curious where you got this your negative impression of a Gbagyi man from.
