You first need to asked yourself WHERE DID THE DIFFERENT BIBLES and VERSIONS CAME FROM?
God cannot be the author of all the different Versions!

God shows Him, Jesus Christ, what He the Father Wills to happen, and He Jesus Christ in turn submits to and does the Father's Will.

So, no, God did not first suffer and die for man before Jesus Christ did. Instead God Willed it that Jesus Christ will suffer and die, Jesus Christ in obedience submitted to doing the Will of the Father.

So if Jesus is subjected to God's will and is obedient to God, Where is the Co-equality claimed in Trinity?

The reasons are not because our hospitals lack standard. It is because the politicians no longer trust anybody in Nigerian soil.
Truly, the assassination of Two Nigerian heads of state in 1966 (Tafawa-Balewa and Aguiyi-Ironsi), swept off all confidence Nigerian leaders have in their colleagues in power. Both of them were killed by soldiers who are suppose to protect them.
Ten years latter (in 1976), Muritala was killed on the street of Lagos because of his overconfidence in his fellow Nigerians and refuse to move about with heavily-armed military escorts.

So I don't blame Nigerian leaders for not visiting our hospitals. Nigerians cannot be trusted even if they are your family members. Ambitious politician, oppositionists, and other evil forces can easily bribe the doctors to cut your life short. Remember that even Buhari was poisoned by a source close to him. Had him been admitted in a Nigerian hospital, he would have long gone!

Was Jesus Born on December 25?

Every December 25, Christians all over the world celebrate their most important religious festival; Christmas. The celebration of Christmas is done in commemoration of the birth of the messiah, Christ the son of Mary, whom Christians believed came to die for the salvation of mankind. However, the authenticity of this date is shroud in a thick cloud of mystery. How and when this date was recognized as Jesus birthday is still a big question to serious-minded Christians. In effect, was Jesus born on December 25?

It is important to note that the early Christian church did not celebrate Jesus' birth. It wasn't until A.D. 440 that the church officially proclaimed December 25 as the birth of Christ. This was not based on any religious evidence but on a pagan feast. Saturnalia was a tradition inherited by the Roman pagans from an earlier Babylonian priesthood. December 25 was used as a celebration of the birthday of the sun god. It was observed near the winter solstice.

The apostles in the Bible predicted that some Christians would adopt pagan beliefs to enable them to make their religion more palatable to the pagans around them. Therefore, some scholars think the church chose the date of this pagan celebration to interest them in Christianity. The pagans were already used to celebrating on this date.

The Bible itself tells us that December 25 is an unlikely date for His birth. Palestine is very cold in December. It was much too cold to ask everyone to travel to the city of their fathers to register for taxes. Also the shepherds were in the fields (Luke 2:8-12). Shepherds were not in the fields in the winter time. They are in the fields early in March until early October. This would place Jesus' birth in the spring or early fall.

It is also known that Jesus lived for 33.5 years and died at the feast of the Passover, which is at Easter time. He must therefore have been born six months the other side of Easter - making the date around the September/October time frames.

Other evidence that December 25 is the wrong date for the birth of Jesus comes from early writings. Iranaeus, born about a century after Jesus, notes that Jesus was born in the 41st year of the reign of Augustus. Since Augustus began his reign in the autumn of 43 B.C., this appears to substantiate the birth of Jesus as the autumn of 2 B.C. Eusebius (A.D. 264-340), the "Father of Church History," ascribes it to the 42nd year of the reign of Augustus and the 28th from the subjection of Egypt on the death of Anthony and Cleopatra. The 42nd year of Augustus ran from the autumn of 2 B.C. to the autumn of 1 B.C. The subjugation of Egypt into the Roman Empire occurred in the autumn of 30 B.C. The 28th year extended from the autumn of 3 B.C. to the autumn of 2 B.C. The only date that would meet both of these constraints would be the autumn of 2 B.C.

John the Baptist also helps us determine that December 25 is not the birth of Jesus. Elizabeth, John's mother, was a cousin of Mary. John began his ministry in the 15th year of Tiberius Caesar. The minimum age for the ministry was 30. As Augustus died on August 19, A.D. 14, that was the accession year for Tiberius. If John was born on April 19-20, 2 B.C., his 30th birthday would have been April 19-20, A.D. 29, or the 15th year of Tiberius. This seems to confirm the 2 B.C. date, and, since John was 5 months older, this also confirms an autumn birth date for Jesus.

Another interesting fact comes from Elizabeth herself. She hid herself for 5 months and then the Angel Gabriel announced to Mary both Elizabeth's condition and that Mary would also bear a son who would be called Jesus. Mary went "with haste" to visit Elizabeth, who was then in the first week of her 6th month, or the 4th week of Dec., 3 B.C. If Jesus was born 280 days later it would place his birth on Sept. 29, 2 B.C. Some scholars interpret the 6 months to be in line with the Hebrew calendar or the August-September time frame. Since Mary's pregnancy commenced a little before the sixth month around July, Jesus would be born somewhere around March-June.

There is a big difference between Islam and Christianity, just as there are similarities. I can enlightened you if you wished. But you can help yourself by going through its literature. Take a look through a translated Quran and ponder.

As for the violence aspect, that is what the media has made people to believe. Every religion has its fair share of violence. Christianity is even worse in that regards. Go and read christian history. Remember that the first and second world wars are the worst violence in human history till date, and they were fully perpetrated by christian nations. Remember the atrocities of the transatlantic slave trade, and the brutal extermination of over six million Jews by bible-reading German soldiers during Holocaust. Yet the media has pushed these to background and made people believed a handful of Muslim insurgents are the problem of humanity.

I don't believed in judging any religion by the activities of few followers. The true teaching of every religion lies in its scripture. Overcoming this barrier is the true freedom.

Therefore I will advice to go and learn about Islam, if you will. Doing that will not only help you to understand the religion, but even had a better understanding of what you are being told or heard about it.

The bible is not about seeking evidence. The bible was not written to teach Jewish culture and custom so if you are looking for evidence you wouldn't use the bible rather, you would research on Jewish culture.
And 12 cobs of maize would not be enough to bankrupt a farmer.
You have to note that incidents in the scripture took place over 2000 years ago. The culture and environment was a lot different from today. The laws in society were so different from today.

The laws have changed but the bible is still there! The bible should provide justification for issues it raised, and not saddle ancient customs for evidence.

God actually exist, but you have been made to perceive it from a wrong direction. Christianity has turned many peoples to Atheism and Secularism, because its doctrines and the bible has failed ordinary reasons and humanity! Remember that the west only start advancing when it forcefully separate itself from the church.

My only advice to you is to be bold and studied other religions as well. Go and search for God in other religions until you find satisfaction. I know many people of blind faith will try to pull you back, but don't be discouraged.

I pray may God, in his infinite mercy, guide you to the right path!

Actually it was not a case of stealing. In Jewish and other oriental cultures, people are allow to enter a farm and eat as long as they do not take anything out of the farm. This is still in practice in many places in the middle east till today

A number of people (12 or more) invading a farm, is enough to depreciate the farm even if they didn't take anything away!

Beside, what made you people to ignore such a good custom, and see burning of thieves as something normal?
