Wiseandtrue:You are on point! But let's assume some of us don't know what is happening in the international communities; hence, those questions needs attention. |
As the 2019 elections is approaching, we are already seeing different awarenesses and campaigns. We most times expect so much from the Executives (President and Governors). But I think we shouldn't limit our expectations to these offices. How about the legislatives (Senates, House of Representatives and House of Assemblies)? What are we suppose to expect in their campaigns? What should be included in their manifestos? In what way should they impact their constituencies? |

As President Muhammadu Buhari announces his intention to seek re-election in 2019 on Monday, activities opened on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) with a negative trend as the market capitalisation lost N150 billion and volume depreciated by 42.82 per cent. It will be recalled that President Buhari after several months of speculation announced that he will be re-contesting contrary to his earlier claim that he was prepared to rule for a term. This is as many Nigerians have continuously expressed doubt over the ill health of President Buhari, who on Monday travelled to London suspectedly to meet his medical team. The market capitalisation, which opened at N14.753 trillion, shed N150 billion or 1.02 per cent to close at N14.603 trillion, amid three-month losses by blue chips. Also, the All-Share Index dipped by 411.98 points or 1.01 per cent to close at 40,429.18 compared with 40,841.14 posted on Friday, April 6. The market was weighed down by profit taking by some investors with major blue chips recording price losses. Unilever recorded the highest loss to lead the losers’ table, shedding N4.80 to close at N55 per share. Lafarge Africa trailed with a loss of N3.20 to close at N41 in spite of N1.50 final dividend declared for the financial year ended Dec. 31, 2017. Dangote Cement shed N2.90 to close at N252, while Guinness depreciated by N1 to close at N103. https://independent.ng/2019-buharis-re-election-declaration-crashes-nigeria-stocks/amp/

From a friend of mine: Please help. I am a 30 year old guy. 3 months ago I married a girl I have been close with since Grade 9. We never had sex until our wedding night- this was because she never believed in sex before marriage, and also she had told me that she was abused by her uncle when she was in grade 7. In November last year, we had our perfect wedding: on our wedding I surprised her with a car, and another car for her mother. On our wedding night, FINALLY we made love. I felt that she was too loose than I expected (way too loose). But I didn't talk about it. A week later, we left for Siavonga for our Honeymoon. On our second time of sex, I asked her why she felt loose, she got very upset and told me that it's normal when a woman is about to attend. While in Siavonga, she got sick (fevers, and vomiting). We came back earlier than planned, I took her to the hospital, malaria test was negative, the Doctor suggested we do a pregnancy test to which she said no. She was like it is not necessary to do a pregnancy test because we have only been with each for 2 weeks. Eventually she agreed, it came out POSITIVE. And just a month after our wedding, my Wife was 3 months Pregnant. Apparently she knew about it and so did her mother. I have loved this girl with the whole of my life, I have waited for her, and now she is carrying another man's baby. What should I do? I am devastated. |
U.S. evangelist Billy Graham, who counseled presidents and preached to millions across the world from his native North Carolina to communist North Korea during his 70 years on the pulpit, died on Wednesday at the age of 99, a spokesman said. Graham died at 8 a.m. EST (1300 GMT) at his home in Montreat, North Carolina, according to Jeremy Blume, a spokesman for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. With his steely features and piercing blue eyes, Graham was a powerful figure when he preached in his prime, roaming the stage and hoisting a Bible as he declared Jesus Christ to be the only solution to humanity's problems. According to his ministry, he preached to more people than anyone else in history, reaching hundreds of millions of people either in person or via TV and satellite links.

Please I want a very sincere answer to this puzzle:- WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE? . . A woman abandoned her husband & her four (4) year old son and went to live with her rich boyfriend & they both (woman & boy friend) eventually travelled to the U.S.A. Out of frustration & desperation the husband went & married another woman. Unfortunately the 2nd woman couldn’t bear a child for the husband. Despite her inability to bear a child, the 2nd woman took great care of the boy & treated him like her own son. Few years later, the husband died in a car accident. The 2nd wife did everything in her power to educate the boy, she engaged in petty trade such as pepper, maggie, salt, palm oil, onion, tomatoes, etc, in the market square in order to sponsor the boy’s schooling. The boy only knew his step mother as his real mother & therefore, he called her Mama. The real mother in the U.S.A did not for once find out about the wellbeing of her son thoughtless of sending a penny for the boy, even after she heard that her x-husband (son’s father) died in an accident. Some years later, this boy grew up into a very intelligent young man waiting for his B.A Hons degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University. The real mother who also could not bear another child in the U.S since she eloped with her boyfriend, realized that she had made a terrible mistake by abandoning her own son. She decided to return home to look for her son & present to him all her wealth acquired over the years in the States. She eventually found her son battling between life & death in the hospital due to kidney failure. The Doctors demanded huge amount of money for the operation & the step mother couldn’t afford it. The real mother stepped in & paid all the hospital bills & donated one of her own kidneys & the son was saved. Shortly after, the final results were out the son got a distinction & also got a five year (5) scholarship to pursue his Masters and PhD degrees in the U.K At the presentation of the certificate, the Vice Chancellor gave the mic to the son to call his mother to come up the stage & receive the certificate. The moment the Vice Chancellor made the statement, the real mother got up & arranged herself waiting to be called upon whilst the step mother sat down & looked at the boy with tears running her chick. The answer is suspended………. Assuming you are the son, who would you call up on stage? A) Real Mother B) Step Mother Remember only one person you should call. I need your answers and if you can’t answer then share it around for more answer…… |
2019: A MUST SAVE FOR NIGERIA By: Ogunkoya Akeem Oluwamayowa As a patriotic Nigerian living in the country and has contributed my own share on development. I am a man of reason who bows to superior argument when he sees one. I am also an unapologetic nationalist. I can attest that my love for Nigeria cannot be questioned. I don't belong to any political affiliation but as people rightly say, don't we deserve to give a young Nigerian a chance given the abyss of hopelessness, unprecedented corruption and gross mismanagement of the past government of sixteen years and the gross failure of this present government of three years has sank Nigeria into? Let's rise above sentiments and put those who have what it takes to change Nigeria for better in the Presidency. This present government has failed totally, most especially on citizen welfarism and security, it has brought our dear land to a new low in terms of security, lack of progress and hope for the future, lack of national cohesion and poor management of internal political dynamics and widening inequality and I want to state here clearly that it does not have the ability to contain the present security challenges facing the nation; Fulani Herdsmen Menace is a case study. This government is insensitive and callous. The cliquishness of the President to a particular region of the country is not healthy to the present and the future of our dear nation, it will only make us to wobble, coggle and shimmy, having no definite progress and destination. I will be proud to state that the present dispensation under this leadership is already out of my consideration. If the present condition continues in our dear land, I am afraid that Nigerians will be humiliated more and more inside and outside Nigeria. Our dear country; Nigeria need a REAL MAN to govern the country, someone who is not a tribalistic jingoist with religious sentiment running through his veins. It is time WE THE YOUTHS OF THIS GREAT COUNTRY, WE THE PEOPLE OF THIS GREAT LAND TO REASON AND SAVE OUR COUNTRY FROM OLD SENTIMENTAL INCOMPETENCE degree holders without common sense from disgracing and degrading us further. We have seen some young governors, business ICONS, movers and shakers of great sectors that are capable and reliable. They should step out and vie for leadership because they have proven it through the developments and also security stability in their states and jurisdictions. We need Quality Leadership, Responsibility, Accountability, Transparency, Effectiveness, Good Governance and Value Same. Let us support a PERFORMER not a FAILURE in the name of "We are from this region, so that is why they are trying to frustrate us" or supports based on sentiments, because doing so will send a message that we only want power just for the sake of it and not for service. We are not zealots who have simply sold their consciences on the platter of tribal sentiments and religious bigotry. Those that travel with Nigerian passport knows what am talking about, but those that are yet to get out of Nigeria; my message to you is that we are defending this country from hostile acts towards Nigerians. Our country does not have a good image outside Nigeria and we are working hard each day to define good and bad, sheeps and goats from the same family. By the grace of God, we shall take over our country one day and restore dignity, respect, democracy and the rule of law, and more tolerant society among our great and diverse ethnicities that made up this great nation. Let us remember the suffering of our brothers and sisters in the North Eastern and North Central part of the country, the senseless killings of our compatriots, Oh! Arise Nigeria!!. The blood of our follow citizens cannot be in vein. It is time to know those that are Nigerians and illegal immigrants that does not wish well for us, it is time to secure our borders, preserve the rule of law. Deport those that are not needed here, sentence and execute those that cause harm to our fellow citizens, eradicate 419, money laundering, prostitution, human trafficking, bribery, ritualist, baby factory, robbery, cultic gangs, terrorism, religious sentiments, tribalistic and reward those who put our country first. It's time to declare emergency in educational sector, time to reform our prisons, hospitals, roads, railways, electricity, water, innovation, job creation our police and military apparatus and so much more. As 2019 approaches, vote wisely and do the right thing. We can no longer afford the present system in our country, change is inevitable no matter how long that it takes us to get there. The panacea to the malaise of the political sector of our dear country is a total overhauling of the old bloods, let's replace the system with young generation breeds. We as the people must surely get to the promise land of this nation and reclaim our rightful place in the committees of nations and make Nigerians proud again. My people, let us all remember those that died while trying to save this land. Nigeria one nation indivisible! Long live Nigeria!! Viva Africa!!! © Ogunkoya Akeem Oluwamayowa (a.k.a. Utility Mayor) |

Please guyz... I need solution to question 10

This is one of the music legends of the old... His songs are still evergreen. Can we have a replica of these ones in this generation? In music; we only shout with nonsense lines of lyrics! In politics; the best thing we can do is to go on social medias, especially here on NL, to fight dirty based on religious, tribal and party sentiments. How will the ancients not continue to rule? Even in fashion; makeups won't allow us differentiate between real human and robots; case study: sex doll Make I stop here joor... Baba Sunny; enjoy your life joor... Nothing do you, always looking younger, while getting older in age... |
Under which party will he run; that's my only concern. If that is well settled, I believe he have a chance to win. |
