States like Anambra, Enugu, Ibadan, Imo, Ogun, Kano, PH, Delta are great place to go. You don't have to go to Lagos. And remove that trâśh mentality from your head that Lagos is a no man's land. ElevationD: This your English better explains what’s trending about the man. You simply explained your understanding of “ground breaking projects”. If speaking “grammar” was not important, education would not be part of the requirements for political leadership.
If your governor cannot read the budget presented by him to the house of assembly, then your definition of “ground breaking projects” beats one’s imagination. ... What baffles me is how can he carry out ground breaking projects when he can't even manage the project, track and interprete key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess project health. |

Christianity Etc › Re: We Went To Beg Oyedepo For School Fees — Nurse Shares Why He Almost Quit Church by uvie66: 3:34pm On Feb 21 |
Precious201010: Some people up there were just talking rubbish... Is it every church member that pays tithe and offering?, and mind u tithe is just 10 percent, so what happens to the 90 percent..
How can someone be looking for admission for good 4 years without planning on how to pay for school fees?.
Every church has a department, if he's a commitment member as he claimed, the best place he would have gone to was his department in the church to get help, then if the department doesn't have, they'll approach the man of God on his behalf...
If u are close to church settings u will understand better, someone will attend a church for the first time and immediately after the service he's coming to meet the man of God for house rent or school fees. .... another sensible yarning, why haven't he and his mother been able to save ordinary 250k over the four years since they were so adamant on getting admission in that particular school, or is it a case of getting to the bridge and " God work in mysterious way" and he will see us through. |
Christianity Etc › Re: We Went To Beg Oyedepo For School Fees — Nurse Shares Why He Almost Quit Church by uvie66: 3:29pm On Feb 21 |
Zionmdde: A church like LFC will advice you to seek help from where you are well known, example the cell. If the cell can't help you, it can be escalated to the chapter, then state HQ It's called structure. The church should be a place of orderliness
The GO wouldn't know all his members, but can listen to your own pastor when he pleads on your behalf
Churches should not be a place things are done anyhow. Imagine working for UBA and you have a problem, you skip your branch managers straight to elumelu, would he talk to you?
Disclaimer: I owe my loyalty to God and God alone. I may attend a church but I don't do all that "it's my church" stuff .... this guy talk sense. |

Sonnobax15: You're speaking too many grammar that doesn't hold water. Imagine going through those lengthy processes when he needed the help urgently. Honestly,if the church can't help it's members in their Time of need,I don't think there's any reason for such members to continue worshipping in that church at all. .. Make Im find another church go, and why is everyone blaming the Church ? Aren't the parents not supposing to be footing the bills of their offspring. Why push it to the church. The church have other financial responsibilities and maybe pay school fees to their congregants is very low in there pecking order. . |

Zionmdde: If you want to serve God, Serve God because you love him not because of any church or pastor
Now the nurse have graduated, I didn't see where he attributed his success to God, rather he is more interested in announcing the perceived disservice done to him.
Moreover, how will the pastor know in split seconds, the sincerity in the request and if you are his member? Do you know how many such requests come in on daily basis. Moreover most of those churches have systems put in place to address welfare issues. He was supposed to start with the cell system, then chapter pastor and co. That it's the church doesn't mean money should be dished out anyhow ....my brother the thing weak me, we all know in Nigeria a Church is not a charitable organization. |
