it's not the goals that matter. His presence can make two or three players useless in the opposition team as they will be busy holding him down and others will be able to score.

Crime / Re: My Experience At LASU NIMC Center by uvie66: 1:53pm On Feb 02
mytrugistslog:

I was trying to register for NYSC on the 29th of January, but I couldn't due to some issues with my middle name (NYSC recently made NIN compulsory for corpers). This means I have to go to a NIMC center to do a name correction.

The next day, I went to the center at Ojo Local Government Secretariat in Lagos, but I met a crowd, and it was obvious I won't be able to meet the deadline for NYSC registration if I should join the queue.

Hence, I went to the NIMC center at Lagos State University, only to meet another crowd. Then, I made the following discovery:

1. Nin is now compulsory for Jamb and Waec registrations. Hence, I saw several secondary school students who should be in class also hustling for Nin.

2. Both Lasu and Ojo centers have only one computer to attend to the huge crowd. It was heartbreaking seeing people suffer just to register into a government database. I know the government would have dispensed resources for several computers, but the money has been embezzled.

3. The NIMC officials at Lasu are taking advantage of the situation to stylishly exploit the people.

If you want to be attended to as quick as possible, you have to go through the backdoor to bribe them with a minimum of 5000 naira. A lot of people were paying the bribes because they needed the Nin urgently.

The three NIMC officials at Lasu whose name I got were Chidinma, Alice and Emma. Those guys are making serious money from these bribes. Imagine if an average of 30 persons pay them 5000 per day just to get their Nin registration done that same day.

4. The implication of the above (if you don't have 5000 to bribe) is that you won't be attended to except you are ready to keep coming everyday for the next 2 months.

I saw a young girl who told me she has been coming repeatedly for many days but was not attended to, but she needs the Nin for jamb registration which is closing soon.

then on Sunday they will go to church..

His salary is a little over 100euros! 1 euro is #1455 naira ,100 euros= #145,500.
I recommend he leaves the country. As a PhD holder,he is skilled and would get a job as a lecturer with salary of around £65,000 to £70,000 pounds per annum.

His knowledge would be much appreciated in the Western world. If he waits 8 years according to him to be a professor, his salary of #440,000 is just 300 euros!
it depends on what field he obtained his p0

Like I always say on this site, you don't have to respond to every topic especially if you're ignorant about the topic.

So I should not appraise the performance of people I'm paying salary to and who relate with my customers?

Obviously you don't know what happens in the corporate world and how the system works.
.,...but, i am on your side on this issue, what I am saying is why will your boss ask people under you to appraise your performance, and just like you i am in the corporate world, (Norton Rose Fulbright UK)... working as a Health and Safety officer.
Career / Re: My Boss Uses Divide And Rule System: Should I Quit Or Ignore by uvie66: 5:38pm On Jan 12
erad:
I'm yet to see what the problem is.

Your boss uses a feedback system to score your performance and even let's you know what is said behind your back so you can adjust if need be.

Where's the issue?
Or do you just want to be unchecked by anyone?
In what corporate governance do you get feedback of colleagues from fellow colleagues?
Shouldn't the boss be getting feedback from customers? Abi na the colleagues and staff dey consume the service or products?

That is entirely untrue! Why do we lie too much? Here is a link to approved countries for truck driving in the US: https://americanvisas.net/visas/non-immigrant-visas/h-2b-visa-program/; https://www.uscis.gov/working-in-the-united-states/temporary-workers/h-2b-temporary-non-agricultural-workers

Did you see Nigeria listed? If our truck driving is the same, why are we not listed? Why is Madagascar listed, but not us? In fact, in one of the links, drivers who don't obtain their licenses in either Mexico or Canada MUST do so in the United States.

Please, this is not 2004 where people talk anyhow.

I have lived in UK and Canada and have never seen where a Nigerian truck driver was hired to come work there. Eastern European truck drivers and South Africans are the ones being hired globally. Nigerian truck driving industry is not rated or recognized.

Learning Truck driving in Nigeria is a waste of time as its not even recognized , our standards here are not up to theirs and you have no actual work experience too.
nonsense talk, our truck is the same as in the US, most important thing is the length and gears. Once you can appreciate the length and size and have confidence in driving it you are good to go, I will even go as far to say it is easier in US than Nigeria because they have smooth roads and traffic lights are obeyed by the citizens.
Here in Nigeria drivers have to negotiate massive pot holes on a daily basis and put up with inconsiderate drivers. Lastly no skill is a waste, interstate truck drivers regularly earn above $100k a year.
