No u wrong about naija

The reason naija is not there is because rather than watching, they practicalize it.

They are not onlookers or spectators, they are active participants
...I concur In most African countries Olosho is cheap compare to western countries where they can charge close to #500k just for night stay, the reason they resort to porn site to relieve their selves

Career / Re: Is 400k Job In Nigeria Worth Staying Or Should I Japa? by uvie66: 1:32pm On Jan 03
Elsucre24:
I will be 31 this year. Omo the age is scaring me and I keep feeling like I’m not doing enough. I have a stable job in the private sector with a 400k monthly salary. But I still feel the impact of the economy badly. I keep asking myself, at what point will I start living the good live?
I feel stock sometimes because my job is very demanding and I almost do not have time to do other things, mind you I’m in the medical field and I work Mondays to Sundays most times but occasionally I have some Sundays to myself and sometimes a day off during the week. I can’t seem to be able to start a business as a side hustle cause most of the side hustles I can think will demand my presence at least for the first few months and I don’t really have that.
My girlfriend is pregnant, I really wanna keep it but she’s not ready, I’m not even sure I’m ready. The only way she can keep it is if I’m going to get married to her before the pregnancy starts showing and I’m as confused as hell cos I don’t know if I’m ready. She has always been vocal of her plans to japa.
Now that brings me to the idea of Japa too. I mean, I cannot deny that fact that I’m scared of the whole japa stuff cos I don’t know what to expect. Economy doesn’t even allow you save as much as you should. Everything’s just seems very scattered.

Pls I need adult minds to advise me on what I can do.
1. Do I start a business, what kinda business can I start with at least 2M that will not require my full presence?
2. Do I start to plan my japa through the study route and just face my fears
3. Should I insist on keeping the pregnancy and hope that things start making sense? This means I have to get married tho.

Thank y’all.
Why you and your girlfriend can't survive on 400k is beyond me to comprehend, weytin una dey chop ?

There should be a state of emergency declare on 2 sectors in Nigeria if Tinubu is serious about making the country a tad bit better.

- Security
- Power

50% of people leaving the country is not for money exactly, but for simple peace of mind that basic amenities provide

how can I feel safe walking on the street of a foreign country by 3am than my own country, it is almost a suicide mission for a lady to walk alone in the street of say ojeulegba by 9pm
I concur, I leave for work at 4am in the UK, People just want peace of mind.

I didn't support Peter Obi but he is the only person that *could" or "might" have done this in Nigeria.

Tinubu will even add more plane to the fleet and Atiku is as reckless as him also, bunch of useless politicians Nigeria parade.

To be candid i see no way out for Nigeria, our own generation is full of yahoo boys, smokers, oloshos and thieves, even worse than this current group of generation, and the latest generation that called themselves gen z will be so worse that they might legalise lesbianism in Nigeria.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Are There Remote Jobs In Nigeria? by uvie66: 6:59pm On Dec 29, 2023
Surface2AirToto:
Make una dey there dey find remote jobs, don't create one for yourselves. My advice to any sensible person reading this is to try as much as possible be to be self employed, you will never know the kind of happiness and peace to of mind that comes with that thing until you experience it. You number one goal in life should be self employment before anything else. Me i don't even go out at all except i feel like, but Money dey enter account steady. My own na just to sleep, eat, fûck, play PS4, and do other things in between. And the kind of business i run is something other people doing the same thing think that they still have to be going out everyday. My own i just install two better security camera that allows me to View what is going on remotely from my phone or laptop in my shop at any time, employed 3 people, one female cashier (still doing POS there as side hussle) and two workers. at the end of the day, they send the the video clip for that day, my own na just to watch and confirm if how much they made tallied with what they wrote i their books. that's how i make almost 400k monthly without stress and still have excess time for other things.
do you mind sharing this business with me so i can replicate, i have ready capital of up to 5m.

CaptainFM1:

The institution is a microcosm of the larger society. The way she dress is a reflection of how rotten the entire society is. That is the correlation.

If she was coming right from her hookup bed to the exam hall, I won't blame her. We shouldn't cherry pick what is good or bad. We have to deal with all the ills in the land. Right from government, to civil servants.

If she still have the presence of mind to understand that education is important to her, her dressing is of less important to me. We have polithiefians stealing our resources and putting people in dare and extreme situations and we do or say nothing about them.

But we want to nail someone for her dressing even though she still have her mind intact to come for an exam to enhance her future. My take though....

The only skin showing is her head and hands, what else do you want the poor girl to wear. Last last with all the decent dressing in the north and non consumption of alcohol they still constitute the poorest population in Nigeria.

WorldRichest:
This is very wrong of the court.

Since the elderly woman has died due partly to the maltreatment by the criminal health workers (though not specified in the report), the criminals should have been charged for manslaughter and sentenced to at least 20 years imprisonment
The woman did not die as a result of the abuse, no causal link.
She probably died of something totally unrelated to the abuse she suffered that's why the care workers are not been charged with manslaughter.
