The panel was the same set of people....

Nobody asked for admissions from any University captured in both for FGC and UK calls. I was lucky to have attended both interviews and during one of the interviews, I mistakenly had my admission letter from Manchester University amongst my original documents and those guys were not interested in that even after seeing it. The only thing I remember they did was that they retained a copy of my proposal after the UK interview and they did recognize that I attended the FGC interview earlier. The expectant week has just begun so please lets not confuse others with conflicting information.....

Please guys let this issue slide... We all need favour from God and not argument as scholars. I pray that God's favour will locate us all on either F/G/C or UK shortlist in the coming days. Amen.

Congrats to the successful guys in the house thus far..... Pls has anyone been reached from University of Colonge for PhD Env. Sci. ?

I was at an NDDC state office today and I met with some official who told me that they will all be in PHC this week to sort out the scholarship issue. Lets still be hopeful guys.

I had to call a Professor friend currently on Sabbatical leave at the commission today and he told me that the 2017 list is still very valid. He also said that the Directors assured him that the list is still valid and that they were trying to mop up cash to clear outstanding arrears owed to older scholars before anything further is done on the 2017 list. Lets still keep hoping!

Dear friends, please lets keep calm. We should be praying that we make the list when it is finally released.

I equally know two of them (PhD) who did not make it to interview but got their letter while others were having their interview @ hotel presidential. Year 2015 was the worst year in the history of the scholarship. I hope others will learn from this experience.

Good morning Scholars in the house. I want to suggest that while we are signing the petition and all that we should also pray. I am told reliably from an insider that the Oga finance, an appointee of PMB is the major issue in the commission as regards unpaid fees/upkeep monies to scholars. There is nothing prayers cannot do. Have a great day guys.

From 2011 onward, this list has always arrived late (late August at the best to November/December at worst each year). Based on this info, I went for Jan. 2018 start date. So let's all be patient because what is worth waiting for is worth waiting for.
