Aba is a city located in Abia state, it's residents are usually reffered to as "NwaAba" due to there presumed roughness, street credibility and ability to survive anywer. There is a saying that goes "gentle man no dey for Aba".
As a born and brought up aba boy, I have become used to the very poor and dirty roads littered in aba that our body is now immune to the dirty waters we deep our legs anytime it rains and the gurry sight of dirt littered everywhere that I think is a great skill am looking forward to add to my CV so employers will know the kind of experience and skills I possess.
Many times I have been on public transport with first timers in aba who shouts and take photos when the see bad road and some closing there nose anytime the see refuse dump, I call them tourist and those places tourist sites. Those tourists are easily spotted irrespective of skin colour e.g when Aba tourist see dirty flood water on the road the feel disgusted and start looking for who to carry them, but typical aba man/woman go shapaly remove Im shoe swim water dey go, after all no be today Nyash begin dey for back.
In this thread am going to show you guys some o those popular tourist sites, you should try and visit when next u are in aba

1) Osisioma junction : this is the the major entrance way into aba, this place is special because it houses first flyover in Asia, now mocked as "Aba Centre table" due to the inability of the current administration to continue with the project for some years,osisoma houses many locally construted bridges by abs residents,next time u are in aba, try and visit osisoma junction but plz, don't forget rainboot

i will go straight to my point, she is my fathers younger sister daughter, she used to visit with her family on Christmas when we were small but for more than five years now, I haven't set my eyes on her cos the usually travel to there fathers place,but recently we lost our grandmother and during the burial, she came back with her mum, and I met her,during the cause of the burial we fall in love with each other
I see in her all the qualities i need in a wife,to cut the story short, I can't stop imagining her being my wife and she is not helping the matter as she is helplessly falling for me too.

sequel to the Just concluded presidential election, there has been increase in hate speech and this is causing serious division in the country and the south-east taking all the blame but the real truth is that the hate speech's is done by all Nigerians which includes yoroubas,ibibios,hausas,fulanis,etc.
This hate speech are sometimes made on Facebook by individuals

2)start an argument
3)trend online
4)some to sound hilarious or funny but with no intention of really hurting anyone physically.

Please in what way can nairaland and other news platform and blogs help to curtail the spread of this hate speech's and videos so it can die naturally in our country E.g A video was moved to front page showing some people in the car refusing to help a northern begger on the frontpage, and a News about Miyetti Allah threatening Igbo's with Fulani heardsmen, should the mods give a fool such opportunity to grace to frontpage

Good day nairalanders, am an architecture student of a Nigerian polytechnic, I am on my one year I.T, recently I developed the urge to go acquire the skill in photography and maybe venture into professional photography as side hustle,so as to help me at school when I go back for my HND this year, the taught didn't get into my mind earlier when I started my one year IT, my IT still has 3months remaining and the truth is were am doing my IT now I earn twice my monthly stipend from office hustles before end of the month and the architect am under is a very good teacher and has taught me alot.
I shared my plans with my people but the discouraged me based on the fact that since the invention of camera phones,people are no longer interested photographers and that it doesn't fit my future career(architect)please I need urgent advice now to know if such skill is still relevant in our modern day and what chance is there that it can favour me oneday

NOTE: I have Monday 7th 2019 as deadline to resume work because I have been absent since 28 dec cos I traveled and if am to go and learn that skill I might not be earning anything for the mean time, could it still fetch me some fortune in the future
