I'm not even taking sides on the timing or everything that transpired. I only had to reject that particular reasoning.
But then, is 11 PM really an appropriate time to engage someone? Judging by the visible timeline of things; he asked for a private DM around 9 PM. He eventually reached out at 11 PM, a time when an average decent person is most likely winding down or already asleep. The seller then replied at 4 AM, only to be left hanging for another eight hours, as stated in Uziyl's post.
Yet, miraculously, the person who initiated contact at such an odd hour is the one that fits your version of what's ideal?

An appropriate time to engage someone"? It's a text negotiation—you drop a message when you are able to, and the other party replies when they are able to. It’s not a live phone call. If another buyer comes along within that window, you sell to them. It is that simple.
Imagine if I were a remote worker who works overnight shifts until 3 or 4 AM and sleeps until noon? The seller himself replied at 4 AM, so the "odd hours" argument makes zero sense anyway.

HelenaWills:
50k?

No wonder.

Uziyl you sef no try o.

Tbh, the 50k was a wild lowball, which is why I explicitly told him in the DM that I knew the price was an insult but I was just shooting my shot. We all negotiate.
But that’s not why he blocked me.
He replied at 4:00 AM countering with 100k (which I was going to pay). Because I didn't reply by 12:00 noon—literally just 8 hours later because my tablet was at home—he completely lost his mind, started hurling vulgar insults about "pussy attitude," and blocked me.
Imagine a grown man running a business, having a full emotional meltdown and throwing tantrums because someone went offline for a morning. If you're that emotionally fragile over an 8-hour reply window, you shouldn't be dealing with the public.

TharyeS:
If you leave me unread during a transaction, I block your ass.
I'm clear and strict on that. I no dey beg you to do business with me.
Now, excuse me or go jump off a cliff.

Lol. 'During a transaction.' You replied to my 11 PM message at 4 AM. By your own logic, I should have insulted and blocked you for leaving me on read for 5 hours. Grow up, bro."

Open box Ubiquiti UniFi UAP-AC-PRO Enterprise WiFi Access Point (Complete Kit).

I intended to use it for an office setup, but we changed our network plans, so it's no longer needed. Bought it for 270k.
Selling for 150k or you make me your offer.
Complete kit available as purchased, although I've disposed the carton.

Payment on delivery can be arranged.

I messaged you on WhatsApp about the Ubiquiti AP. Because I didn't respond within an 8-hour window from last night until 12 noon, you decided to start hurling insults.

I left my 10-inch tablet at home, but it's fascinating that a simple communication delay triggered such a massive emotional crisis for you. For someone who claims money isn't an issue, you sound incredibly desperate. If you can't handle a basic marketplace negotiation without a breakdown and a tantrum, you lack the basic emotional maturity required for adult interaction and shouldn't be dealing with the public. Get a grip.

TharyeS:
Available.

Incase you have deals for a network switch, firewall, router, mini pc or cpu, NAS storage etc. I want to start a home networking lab, I also wouldn't mind a cheaper Wireless access point

What about shipping and customs fees? I've always been discouraged by those two fees

Shipping is usually very okay. If the item is a choice item, it is free delivery and package is mostly delivered through speedaf

Good day house,
My Samsung S20 Plus 5G screen is damaged and I need to replace it. I've gotten two quotes:
Original/genuine AMOLED screen — around ₦250k
Aftermarket/copy screen — around ₦70-80k
I plan to keep using this phone for a while, not selling it soon, so I want to make the right choice and not regret it.
My questions for anyone who has actually used the cheaper option on an S20 Plus or similar Samsung flagship:
How is the screen quality after some months of use — brightness, especially outdoor/sunlight visibility?
Does the in-display fingerprint sensor still work well, or does it start giving issues?
Any lagging or touch response problems?
Did it develop lines, dimming, or other faults over time?
Is it "aftermarket OLED" or "incell" — anyone who knows the difference in how they were told by their technician?
Where did you get yours done (Lagos, Abuja, Computer Village, etc.) and would you recommend the same person/shop?
I know the price difference is huge (₦170k), so I want to hear from people who have actually lived with the cheaper screen for a while before deciding. Please no assumptions, just real experience.
Thanks in advance 🙏

If you are patient, I'd advise you to get it on AliExpress. It's quite cheaper, and you can select if you want the AMOLED or OEM original 2x Dynamic AMOLED. Prices are between 65k to 150k.
I got one for my S23 Plus for 150k. Original 2x Dynamic AMOLED. It got delivered in 3 weeks.

mcjendol:

Weenygreen:
I did, I selected Ibadan for the interview and traveling from Lagos

What date is your interview?

kasim155:
I think maybe it depends on the kind of correction you want to do. Mine was interchanging my first name and my middle name so as to tally with what I have in my NIN, but I don't know if correction of Surname or date of birth can be done here without going to Abuja. That I can't really say

The issue here is just the removal of my middle name as it doesn't match my NIN. I don't want to change my NIN as it matches with all my other documents that carries just two names

oohhjjaayy:
A change of date of birth is exclusive to NIS HQs, Sauka Abuja. All other corrections can be done at State passport offices nationwide.

Wow! Thanks. Will be going to their office first thing on Monday

Who else selected Ibadan as his/her interview center and is scheduled for interview on 20th and will be traveling from Lagos

kasim155:
No I did not travel to Abuja, I did mine in Ikoyi passport office.

I never knew o.
Was told it's not possible I have to travel to Abuja for that when I went to inquire at Alausa passport office.
I've been on this for the past six months.

kasim155:
I applied for a renewal, though I did corrections of name (by interchanging my first and middle name so as to tally with that of my NIN). My capturing date was on the 27th of February 2024.

Did you have to travel to Abuja to do the change of name on your passport to match your NIN?
Because I'm in similar situation with an expired passport and I want to do a renewal. Was told my NIN name doesn't match the old passport so corrections has to be made first.

Does anyone have information concerning change of name for males can be done in Lagos or one has to still go to Abuja
