Do you believe this info that is impossible, German embassy will not cancel any bookings I booked in September and I got a date . If they want to cancel they will not give out dates........my 1milion advice to people who have got an appointment date...don't cancel..embassy will not cancel any appointment I repeat embassy will not cancel any appointment. If you were unable to get a date you can reapply from october 1st. One love

What do you then have to say about those who had applied for AD since June & weren't given a date till date...just my thougths

The embassy is done with admission for winter. If the gonna give AD,it will be for summer academic session

Today makes it exactly one week since I left for Germany. I am here to share some things I wish I knew before I came.

1) Learn the Language: it will help you in your every day waka,most especially for those already working in Nigeria. I heard of someone working with an insurance company in Nigeria that got to Germany, googled insurance company around and was able to get a PROFESSIONAL job(Language was still a barrier but he was lucky)

2) Don’t bother bringing rice,oil, salt. All these things are very cheap here

3) please bring earpiece, extra charger and the likes (Electronic goods) seem to be expensive over here.

4)to be very honest, Most (not all) of the Jacket you will get in Nigeria cannot do anything against the cold. I would advise you save the money and come buy one or 2 over here.

5) If you have laptops, bring it.

6) I don’t know about the big cities but I am in a small town (Göttingen) and bicycle is the way of life here. People cycle EVERYWHERE. Learn how to ride a bicycle.

7) if you have time, learn driving and German. These things are really expensive to learn here. I’m talking over a thousand Euros.

In class, I also noticed that the Nigerian students (myself included) find it difficult to speak out while the whites are free with the lecturers. Please start practicing in the mirror and try to speak out in class.

Fun fact: The other day I used one Euro coin to buy something and the cashier gave me my change, I cried a little.

Overall, please be a good ambassador of Nigeria wherever you are and learn to highlight the positive part of Nigeria. God bless us, God bless Nigeria and God bless Germany.

It will be of no use then as my enrollment deadline is around the corner.

If yours is still into October, then all hope isn't lost.

I gave up already...mailed my University of my in ability to get an AD.... Reapply next winter hopefully.

So sorry you had to wait this long...guess AD for winter is ended already but who knows? Anything is still very possible.

Am really confused here guyz. i booked an appointment with the embassy on the 11th of August before the new rule on cat A ( about completion of studies before 2017 was introduced) . i got AD for September 25th but on the AD it was stated that i must have completed my studies after 2017. Now am confused if i should cancel the appointment and book in another category or i should go along with the date i have since the new rule was introduced after i have booked. Whats your opinion here. i think the new rule was introduced on the 22nd of August if am not mistaking

Bros, you so lucky you had an AD already...should you decide to cancel it, that will be till next winter...People here are still praying so hard to get an AD while you that got one is planning on cancelling. AD scarce oo. .I won't ask for cancellation shaa

Well, I have read with uttermost amazement how some folks here have ridiculed,insulted and to a large extent,created unnecessary panic about a certain "dreaded dreadlock black VO",with some wishing and making plans to totally avoid her.
Let me tell y'all something,wouldnt u want a VO who's so direct,wants facts and no stories and in no much time you're done.
This same lady interviewed me and I thank God she did. if u just rely on her facial expressions u will hate yourself. She wants you to know what your saying and be confident about it. Like I said,thank God I was interviewed by her and on 27th of August I got AM for an interview on the 5th. Do u know the Miracle? I haven't funded yet.
It isn't about VO. It's about You,You and You and with God in it.
Sorry for the rejections so far and I hope heaven makes a way for u. For those of ya who are avoiding her,u better start wishing *the dreaded dreadlock black lady" is your VO..lol

Your school needs to provide extension

Enrollment deadline was initially 29th August...had to request for an extension which was granted & those elapses on 26th September.

Am at a real fix at the moment...only a miracle is all I need

you left this group since that is why you are asking this question now,,, let me use my self to illustrate things for you, i got my AD on 26 june and i booked on 27 then cancelled because of mistake and booked again on 29 and wait for a week no AD, So i read people's comments about the scarce of AD and some that are testifying , i check the starting date of those that are testifying used before getting AD and after analyzing and calculating it, i cancelled my appointment again on 11 july and use 12 november as my start date and on the 25 when embassy start giving out date they gave me october 7,,, if you are following from that june i believe by now you will not be asking this question.

The only remedy now is to pray for a favour so that when people without AL cancel their AD, the embassy should choose you from the pool of application they have or if its possible for you to enroll online,enroll, then cancel and rebook, used december 20 as ur start date,

Thanks for your response brotherly....my school insisted that I be present in person for enrollment & no online arrangement for enrollment...To add salt to injury, my school doesn't grant differment of admission which is why they extended my enrollment date for 4 weeks.


The international office specifically mentioned that should I not meet up before deadline date, I'll losey admission & re-enroll for 2020 academic session.
