Ok top of the morning to me gunners in the house, trust y'all slept well last-night, thanks to a superb performance from the boys(NaZizou, AA23, B52  ), I'm STILL watching Nasri's goal and i help but wonder, what on earth was going through his mind when all that played out?, all of una wey dey kpara say Nasri no be Zizou reborn, make una watch the game AGAIN, he made us feel like we didn't need FAB4 on the pitch last-night & sometimes you get the feeling that this just could be the season where it all happens.

Forget the hat-trick, Bendtner needs to work on his 1st touch & passes, his football I.Q is way too low for a striker (ball-handling,skill & positioning) but i thank God he saved the goals for Porto (like AA23 said) & delivered.The introduction of Eboue and Walcott did bring a different dimension to the game (I hope AW doesn't sell Eboue because the dude is really feeling himself in the red & white).

Who's next?. . .For the title!

Since the GSM networks came into Nigeria, there's been competition to stake a claim for "most used network this,highest number of subscribers that" here & there. Now with the emergence of 3/3.5G (make i no call 4G sef), one has to ask. . . Is 3G (i'd love to put 2G) in Nigeria REALLY what its meant to be?

I was in Ghana for some weeks and over there, the 3G experience is mind-blowing. . i could boast of reaching speeds of 800kbps (on connecting in a remote location) to 2-7/3mbps!

So i decided to buy a Zain 3G modem(when i came back), ONLY to find out that i needed a 3G sim to enjoy 3G services?

I switched to MTN, then i realised all i had was a 50mb bundle that i have to use up in 24 hrs? with embarrassing speeds (even though i live close to an mtn-owned mast)

There's different sides to this TW ish we're all talking about here. While you may go on and on and on about him not being as good as his peers (wing mates), have it in mind that

1 - English : Now my reason for bringing this to the table is that the English press tend to overdo when there's a new kid on the block. Now A-40 listed some of em, all of which faded before they reached their peak. I still remember the days of Owen (The EP creamed over him like he was the messiah of English football but when he suffered a loss of form, they were VERY vile in their use of words towards him), there was ALSO David Beckham (with his deadly freekick abilities, that too soon faded), when he suffered that foot injury of his, the whole of England kept vigil & held masses in churches for him to get well(Where is Beckham today?). Wayne Rooney till date is the ONLY english player that survived the so-called "media-hype" disease.

If anything happens to Rooney today @ club level, the EP will come down heavily on the nucca.

2 - Injuries : Now interpret this ANYWAY u want, we'd still arrive at the same thing. Injuries can make one loss form (technically or whichever word you choose to call it) and one's balance of mind can be affected by that.

3 - Playing role : This is where he prolly get's your hammering, he's caught up in this lalaland of wanting to play the CF position, while his alternate role as a winger is seriously lacking. But give it time, i still believe so much in him becoming a hit with us. . .one at a time, remember?

Juventus happy Arsenal want Melo: Van Persie swap on agenda

Juventus have welcomed Arsenal's confirmed interest in Felipe Melo.

Juve are keen to cash in on the Brazil midfielder and are willing to discuss a swap with the Gunners at the end of the season.

The Turin giants would be open to a deal, but are eyeing at least one of Robin van Persie, Gael Clichy and Bacary Sagna as part of any transfer.

Lennon is one of the best wingers in the league, he doesn't have great technique/passing/skill/touch/dribbling, but he's learned how to use his pace very well. If Theo can do that, he would turn out to be a very good player.

Remember when Eduardo first came, we all thought "Hey, we have a Brazilian hit-man. . let's do some serious damage",where's DUDU today (injuries or not), firing fucking blanks, same thing with Bartender, Vela n co , Walcott WILL remain in this "crazy daze" of his for the entire length of the season. Why?

The pressure to be listed in the world cup squad is getting into his head.
The tag of england's "fastest striker/winger" is ALSO getting to him.
He ain't living up to the buzz that greeted his arrival OR he prolly ain't getting some from his girl (hope not)

I could remember back in his Southampton days, he played as a CF/SS. . where he excelled through the ranks before breaking into the first team. Fine, he could be so clueless but who ain't?

Nani who ripped apart our defense and put up a good show is STILL totally f**kd up on the flanks(apart from his dribbles), his crosses fail him many-a-time hence Valencia (who has a better crossing/shooting ability). In TW's case, we have a young man, who succumbed to the media hype and all the buzz (one reason why AW is shielding young Jack Wilshere) that followed his transfer from Southampton way too early in his career & coupled with the injuries he's had in the past, one could easily write him off.

One thing i know for sure is IF in the next 2 season we don't get the very best out of him (as a CF or Winger), then talks like this can begin.
