TV/Movies / Re: Naruto Information by v3: 4:04pm On Aug 05, 2019
I literally broke down after Naruto ended, which explains my absence from the thread for a while. I haven't found an anime that tops it in terms of story-line, character development and...jutsu.
I'm nowhere near being married yet, lol. If Firestar is, then hearty congratulations!

Watching Boruto feels like i'm cheating on the LOML.
WackyJ1:
It's almost 9 Years since I started posting on this thread.

Some of us would have been married now with kids *eyes firestar*

I still have fond memories of the feeling that this thread brought.

Well Boruto has begun and for the record, I don't like the boy.

I feel he disrespects his father way too much for someone that is lucky to see both his father and his mother.
He is also a supposed "Genius" that cheats.

I also don't like the way that they are forcing him to have some form of talk No jutsu.

Naruto's Talk no Jutsu was based on the fact that his childhood experiences of Neglect and lack of love made him able to empathize with his opponents and then know what to say to change their views.

Being able to empathize with them is a crucial part of it. Boruto has no experiences to draw on to be able to Empathize with his opponents. So where does his Talk no jutsu come from.

I stopped watching the show because of the reasons above and because they were too many fillers.
The team up of Naruto and Sasuke was the highlight tho.

Please which Province PNP favours IT Professionals?
I would also like to know this.
I wanted to apply to Saskatchewan province but the category closest to IT is Programmers and I only just started web development.

Unfortunately, the website I was referred to does not have a branch in Lagos (They are located in Jos), and all their contact numbers on the contact us page don't exist (Called each).

If anyone knows where I can get CITP (Chartered IT Professional) done here in Lagos, please respond to this. Ify just threw me a lifeline and I fully intend to use it. Or if knows a certification in IT I can run and get certified in a matter of weeks (3), let me know.

Thank you.

To add to this, if there is anyone here writing IELTS soon and in a group of like-minded individuals, please let me know so i can share my details to be added to the group.

Then instead of PNP, you should be looking for an additional qualification. Have you considered the BCS diploma in IT?
I never knew of this till you mentioned it. Looking it up as I type this.

I believe scores will still drop to the 440s. If you're in the high 440s, don't bother with PNP.
If you insist on PNP, then Ontario is the tech haven

Hello Ify,

Thank you for your feedback.

Because of my educational level (ND), the score has not for once risen above 420, even with Band 8 IELTS.

Good day, all.

Looks like PNP will be the way to go, given that my score is below 450. Where (what province) would you advise a Tech person to apply to?

Thank you very much.

There is a colleague i stumbled upon reading this page by chance. Works with a company that starts with H and ends with I. He'd probably be spooked when he sees this but i hope he gets his ITA and soon.

All the best, chief.

Was scrolling through the CIC site and this jumped at me. HOLY COW! shocked shocked

"The latest Express Entry draw took many candidates by surprise when it occurred on Monday, September 24, as it followed just five days after the previous draw. A total of 400 candidates, all of whom were eligible under the Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC). were invited to apply for immigration to Canada through Express Entry on September 24. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off threshold stood at 284 points, representing the lowest threshold of the year so far."

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE.

What is the step-by-step procedure to apply for Canada PR?

Hi,

I did the following

Got my IELTS score. The Score was 9- 8–7.5–7.5

Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) tool: skilled immigrants (Express Entry) - went here and checked my CRS score it was 478 for myself and 468 when I included my spouse ( my wife was pregnant at that time).

Did my Education Credential Assessment from World Education Services at https://www.wes.org/ca/. I applied for this and wrote IELTS in parallel it took more than 30+ days to get the doc in hand.

One I had both IELTS score and education assessment I was ready to apply for the PR.

Applied for PR through express entry program at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada | Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada.

Horrified to see my CRS score got dropped to Bleep points. Found out that since I had work experience among different NOC, CIC only took my recent NOC experience and reduced my points.

Luckily got ITA in the next draw itself, minimum score was Bleep.

Now it was the time to get all the required documents such as

medical certificate for both my wife and myself.

police certificate for both

experience certificate for both.

proof of funds statement.

Submitted all documents and paid fee for PR processing and right for permanent residence.

Once again horrified to see a message saying my application got cancelled after 3 weeks. The reason being I have not submitted documents for my new born baby since.

The baby is only 1 month old when I submitted application for PR.

I have foolishly mentioned I have minor son in family details then only applied PR for myself and my wife. ( I thought I would change application once I get documents for my baby).

Reapplied express entry on the same day of rejection.

Again got ITA the next day itself, the minimum score was 441.

Got all documents for my baby.

Resubmitted all the documents and repaid the PR processing fees for 3 ppl this time.

Lesson learned, even if double / triple check everything something might always go wrong. Do not loose heart and keep at it.

An assessing body has to agree on that too. What will u give them as a transcript and program completion document?
Thank you for your response. I have my transcripts for the completed diploma course, but the other? No, sir, I don't.

Word of advice to people that keep referring people to page 1. While it's okay for people to go through the thread, some people prefer a faster method to things, and yes, I did spot the sarcasm in some of the replies and responded in-kind. The same amount of time spent in coming up with remarks as such can be used to post a helpful answer, but no, Nigerians will be Nigerians.

I don't mean to be disrespectful or anything, but some of you need to have a rethink about how you respond to people online.

Again, thank you, Elfmann.

Is it that the diploma is a three year one? Then year one of a first degree (uncompleted)? Anything u have and claimed, must have been evaluated as so.
Yes, the diploma is a three year one. The degree isn't completed yet (A 4-year course).
