Oh. .it's a W/Router. .Linksys i presume ![]() Anyways, there could be alot of factors. . Driver problems Hardware failure (I highly doubt this but i had to list it) Wrong password perhaps Now, Did you do any updates recently? ![]() If you did, i suggest you do a 'rollback' device driver so your wlan driver can return to its previous state before it was updated. From Start - My Computer - Properties - Device Manager - Network adapters (Search for your wlan adapter then right-click on it, click properties. .you should see 'rollback driver' under the drivers tab). Now, you ONLY need a rollback if you're having issues with the current device driver update. .but if you haven't updated the driver at all, click Update Driver button and follow the on-screen instructions let Windows try to find a driver for your device. OR better still, go to the official site of the laptop manufacturer, enter your laptop details in their 'search' box. .when you see your laptop-make, click on 'software&drivers' then search for the driver for your wlan. *phew* hope this helps you. Can you verify that the password hasn't been changed recently? This could be another reason why you aren't able to logon to the wifi-network. On the real though, you haven't told us the error message you get when you try login-on to the network. That should give us a clearer picture of the situation |
We all here e-punching ourselves and AW is somewhere in the med having a swell time with David Dein ![]() The pictures are. . . . ![]() http:///6LBYUWx |

steve20114ril:Is this network Open(Free) or password-protected(requires a password to access)? Have you connected 'successfully' to it before? If you tried connecting,do you receive any error message? Please provide answers to these questions so we can help you. Cheers |

Lets not drag this on any longer, we're all free to express views as we see fit. .we're all learners in different ways @4ller Be nice ![]() @all4naija There's quite ALOT that Ubuntu has to offer in terms of interaction but you've gotta ask yourself,"How far am i willing to go?". Ubuntu can be very powerful and less-appealing. .depends on who's sitting in front of the pc and running cmds' or doing some customization. Funny thing is when it comes to design. .Ubuntu sort of goes the extra mile than Windows. . the only thing windows 7 has going for it in terms of design is its Aero effect which with time, Ubuntu would catch up with. .if it hasn't already. Windows just makes O.S more interactive while Linux sort of 'engages' you more cause you get to do most of your stuffs via a terminal if your App Center can't get it done. I leave you with the footnote, though stolen ![]() Windows is a bug. .Ubuntu is the cure #OkBye |
@a4naija Haven't tried it out yet, still #famzin' with Mint. Where's 4llerbuntu sef |
Now that was sumn, thank you |
