pls help i bought a new laptop and it came with windows xp then i gave it to an engr to  upgrade to windows 7 then after the upgrade my Bluetooth can only send and receive when i tried exploring it tells me that windows explorer has stopped working and i cant connect the Bluetooth to pc suite it tells me check if the driver is installed correctly, and also when i try  India web proxy with java run-time it shows a black box and goes off pls really need your help DELL INSPIRON N4030

Yup! Its called a restart loop/ boot loop. It happened to my desktop. What you need to do is  get an xp/vista/win7 cd and run "chkdsk".
Causes :: Improper shutdown, Bad hard disk.

Please help, my computer does not log on when it is turned on. it boots to the logon stage, but after putting username and pwd, instead of logging on to desktop, it logs off and goes back to the logon page. it continues like this without logging on to desktop.

the last thing i did on it was installing avast free antivirus, when restarting after the installation, i aborted the scanning when it was still booting and that was when the unable to logon issue started.

the laptop is an HP 510 with windows xp on it. 60gb hd and 1gb ram.

can someone please assist!
