^ ![]() But Slim, the guys i listed came from 'outside' the EPL, what makes u think the new replacements won't adapt? Besides, knowing AW. .not all of em (listed) will leave. |
duduspace:Naaah, if he ain't french or some 2-year wonderkid spotted jugging the ball with his head by our scouts, i don't see him coming anytime soon. Every Bose, Chinedu n Mumuni knows that RvP can ONLY go half a season but remains the BEST striker in the team. The must-have-a-lanky-guy buy doesn't cut it for me. .we need hustlers and poachers in the penalty box and NOT 6'plus strikers who'd rather score with their heads than with legs. Yes, Chamahk came in, made the difference early on, got burnt (exhaustion as AW put it) but lost it altogether the moment RvP became fit and our manager kept both of em on the bench for some odd reason. If we have a 20 to 25 goals (without RvP) per season striker, we'd have put up a much better fight!, and trust me MC29 & B52 can't hit that mark. Noticed Walcott keeps drifting between SS and AM-R, AW needs to decide once and for all where he wants him to play permanently. Berbatov is tall. .but Hernandez has gotten more balls in with his "head" than any other United striker, heck EVEN Peter Slouch and Zigish sef be wastepipes. Possible solution. . Sell B52, Clichy, Diaby, Denilson, Arshavin*, Rozzy, Cesc* (add anyone else). Get Gervinho(support for RvP and bring back JET to act as backup), a good DM (for Song). . If we're not getting Eden Hazard, bring back Ryo Miyaichi/Lansbury to act as backup to Nasri/Arshavin (if he doesn't leave) Get a no-nonsense defender (I want Chris Samba-mould, not some kid) Strip FAB of the captains armband (Just a suggestion). .get a VEEEEERY good shrink to work with these boys and WENGER! ![]() Let a former gunner (Parlor, Henry,Seaman or Lehmann et al) speak to these boys before games and YELL at them whenever they screw up as Wenger/Pat Rice dunno how to manage these boys when they drop their shoulders. One more thing. . our pass, pass, pass. .then wait for CLICHY/SAGNA to knock the ball into the box is way too predictable! We need to change our tactics (OFFENSE n DEFENSE) |
duduspace:What about the Willain from Shaktar He's pretty decent, good workrate, scores and creates chances. Here's a funny quote about him from Arseblogarseblog: As for the Brazilian from Shaktar, well I personally hope we sign him and he turns out to be amazing. He’ll score the greatest goal in Premier League history. Picking the ball up in his own box he’ll nutmeg whichever lanky Arrow Sp*rs have playing up front for them, before running the length of the pitch doing keepy-ups, barking like a wild dog, then rounding the keeper, stopping the ball on the goal line, sitting on it, waiting until Gallas just about gets to him, doing a Cruyff turn, flicking it up in the air, and performing an overhead kick which hits both posts, the bar, and then comes back out for him to do a flying scissors kick into the top corner.[ ![]() |
justkunmi:AMEN! Your suggestions people. |

Tottenham vs Arsenal Venue: White Hart Lane K.O Time: 7:45PM Arsenal's title hopes are hinging on balance after their draw with Liverpool at the weekend. Arsenal looked to have closed the gap on Man United, but the late penalty has put Man United the firm favourites for the title. It would mean that Arsenal would have to go for a sixth consecutive season without a trophy. Tottenham supporters, without doubt, will look to take advantage of this situation by heaping more misery on to their North London rivals. They could also improve their chances of finishing in the top four as they could move level on points with Man City with a victory. It is going to provide the biggest inspiration for Spurs, who have a good record against their rivals in recent years. Tottenham have ended up on the losing side in just one of their previous four meetings at White Hart Lane, which should suggest a difficult match for Arsene Wenger's men. Their season could be over with yet more dropped points. Both teams do not come into the match in the best of forms after they have managed just one victory apiece in their last five matches. Tottenham are still struggling with injuries to their defenders. |
Chelsea vs Birmingham FC Venue: Stamford Bridge K.O Time: 7:45PM Local Time Chelsea have won three in a row at Stamford Bridge while Birmingham City have drawn two of their last three on the road. Chelsea team news Alex and Ramires have failed to recover from hamstring injuries and will miss out. The Brazilian duo were expected to be fit after sitting out Saturday's win at West Brom but will now be unavailable until after this weekend's clash with West Ham. Branislav Ivanovic is doubtful with a muscle strain, which was due to be assessed on Tuesday. Birmingham team news Birmingham winger Jean Beausejour is back in contention after injury. The Chile international missed the 1-1 draw at Blackburn and the 2-0 home success over Sunderland at the weekend with a hamstring strain. City boss Alex McLeish, whose side defeated Chelsea 1-0 at St Andrew's in November, has no fresh injury concerns, but strikers Nikola Zigic and Obafemi Martins plus defender Martin Jiranek remain sidelined with groin problems. |
Newcastle United vs Manchester United Venue: St. James Park K.O Time: 7:45PM Local Time Newcastle United have lost three of their last four while Manchester United have won three in a row. Newcastle team news Loan signing Stephen Ireland has been included in the Newcastle squad for the first time. The 24-year-old could make his debut despite spending the last few days at the bedside of partner Jessica Lawlor after she suffered multiple injuries in a road accident last week. Midfielder Cheick Tiote and defender James Perch return from suspension, but skipper Kevin Nolan completes his two-match ban. Goalkeeper Steve Harper has had an injection in his knee and is doubtful. Man Utd team news Wayne Rooney will return from suspension to spearhead Manchester United's attack as the Barclays Premier League leaders look to atone for their FA Cup disappointment by beating Newcastle at St James' Park. Rooney is available after a two-match ban and is expected to replace Dimitar Berbatov. Paul Scholes misses out following his red card at Wembley but fellow veteran Ryan Giggs is expected to return, whilst Jonny Evans returns from his own ban. |
Hoping to get the console next week. Fisogucci, here I come ![]() |
Oh well, the ref had to screw this one up too. 98mins played, Liverpool FK hits the wall. .why not end the match? ![]() On the other hand, Eboue shoulda known better. .you don't do that when you're a goal up and the ball is STILL in your box! ![]() This reminds me of that silly penalty Clichy gave away ![]() Next Up, Shit Hart Lane. |
