European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Stoke City Vs Chelsea Fc On Saturday, 2nd April 2011 by v3(op): 2:52pm On Apr 01, 2011
Stoke City vs Chelsea FC
Venue: Britannia Stadium
K.O Time: 3PM

After the 2-0 win against City,Chelsea players have now managed to get their manager back in their bandwagon after Ancelotti agreed that they have a chance to retain their title as they are now 9 points behind with a game in hand and they are yet to meet the league leaders at Old trafford. They have the right to do so as they have been playing like a well oiled machine since beating Utd.The team is dialed in hungry for goals and like last season they may once again close the season in devastating form in which they beat Stoke 7-0.

Stoke will be welcoming the Blues to the Britannia stadium knowing very well that the London side has had their number since they were promoted beating them every chance including the 7-0 loss at the Bridge which will not be forgotten for a while. The side are on a good run of form winning 2 of their last game at home which has been known to be a fortress including a rare 4-0 drubbing to Newcastle but overall they have only won 2 of their last 6.At home they have faired well against the visitors only losing narrowly to them in a mostly physical encounters. They are currently in 10th position, 4 points above the relegation zone and they know that a loss would see the in danger of being caught up in the relegation battle which is heating up behind them.

With one eye on the CL match against Manchester United next week,Ancelotti will have be looking to rest key players for the match, but he will have a rather easier time at it than his counterpart SAF,as his team is finally back to full capacity and any team he puts up is strong enough to ensure the win.

Torres is still the topic of conversation as he is yet to score in the blue colours after 8 games, but he had a great game against City. But it was the injection of Drogba and Anelka that led to the 2 goals after great play that produced numerous chances which weren’t put away.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)West Ham Vs Manchester United On Saturday, 2nd April 2011. by v3(op): 2:28pm On Apr 01, 2011
West Ham vs Manchester United
Venue: Upton Park
K.O Time: 12:45PM

West Ham must overturn English Premier League leaders Manchester United if they are to continue their climb away from the relegation zone.

After going unbeaten in their last four league matches, Avram Grant's side have escaped the bottom three, albeit on goal difference only.

They managed an impressive 0-0 draw away to Tottenham Hotspur in their most recent outing and also secured impressive wins at home to Liverpool and Stoke City.

Manchester United meanwhile are five points clear of Arsenal at the top of the table.

They could only scrape a narrow 1-0 win at home to Bolton Wanderers last time out and are likely to have one eye on Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final against Chelsea.

Sir Alex Ferguson - whose side is fighting for trophies on three different fronts - is faced with a defensive crisis at a critical point in the campaign.

Rio Ferdinand may not return this season as he battles a calf injury and is joined on the sidelines by John O'Shea and Rafael.

Nemanja Vidic has also been troubled with a calf problem, but is in contention to return for Saturday's match at Upton Park.

Northern Ireland centre-back Jonny Evans will miss the next three matches through suspension after being sent off against Bolton.

Further forward, Owen Hargreaves' injury nightmare continues with a shoulder problem now ruling the defensive midfielder out of action.

Paul Scholes is suspended for the West Ham match, while Brazilian Anderson is in doubt with a knee injury.

In comparison, West Ham's squad has a relatively clean bill of health.

Fringe goalkeeper Peter Kurucz and midfielders Jack Collinson and Junior Stanislas are set to miss out, while Frederic Piquionne could return from a foot problem.

United will be seeking revenge after losing 4-0 away to West Ham in the Carling Cup on November 30.

Ferguson's side won the first league encounter of the season between the teams 3-0 at Old Trafford last August.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Arsenal Vs Blackburn On Saturday 2nd April 2011. by v3(op): 2:18pm On Apr 01, 2011
Arsenal vs Blackburn
Venue: Emirates Stadium
K.O Time: 5:30PM Local Time

Thank the maker — the international break is over, and Arsenal is back.

After an international break that seemed much, much longer than 2 weeks, Arsenal square off against a Allardyce-less Blackburn. We faced them in the third game of the season back in August, and came away with a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Arshavin and Theo. Let’s hope for a repeat tomorrow.

Blackburn are in 13th, which is a mid-table position, but a closer look reveals they are in quite a bit more trouble than that. They are one of 4 teams on 33 points, and they are barely ahead of the other 3 on goal differential. And the 17th and 18th placed teams are on 32 points. So realistically, they are just one point clear of the drop, and are on a bad run of results since Allardyce was forced out. All indications are that they are in for a survival fight for the next couple of months. Hopefully we can make that situation a bit more desire with a good result tomorrow.

On the other side of the pitch, Blackburn have actually scored a fair amount of goals, and gotten them from a lot of different sources. Not a single player from Blackburn has scored more than 5 league goals this season, but 8 different players have scored 3 goals or more. There’s no real secret to their tactics — they like to hit you on the counterattack, they like to hoof it long and lump it into the box, and they love to try to score from set pieces — they have some huge, strong players who can jump high and head it hard, and that could be a real danger for us. We’ll need to try to make sure not to foul anywhere near the box, and when we do concede set pieces, we’ll have to make sure and mark our man and put a body on him when he goes up for the ball.

In team news, the injuries are the big question. Our long-term guys — Flaps, Wojo, Vermaelen, Djourou, Frimpong — are still out. In better news, Cesc, Theo, Song, and Diaby are back in the squad. van Persie and Bendtner are probably out — we’ll find out about them today. We’ll also find out about Ramsey, who apparently has a groin injury from international duty. No word yet on Gibbs, who had to come back from the U21s with an injury. We’re not entirely sure how fit those guys are and whether they will start, which makes a lot of our lineup up in the air. Here’s my best guess at a lineup:

                 Almunia

Sagna-Squillaci-Koscielny-Clichy

            Wilshere-Song

        Nasri-Cesc-Arshavin

              van Persie

Bench: Lehmann, Miquel, Gibbs, Eboue, Denilson, Diaby, Ramsey, Rosicky, Bendtner, Chamakh

I had vista for a while, decided to upgrade cause most games i tried playing weren't compatible with it. It seems the bug is Windows 7 related. I reverted to vista, used the 'same' battery. . worked. Upgraded to 7, weeks into it. .'Consider replacing your battery'. angry

INCREDIBLE: Hajrovic rolls a tame back-pass Lehmann’s way and, just like Paul Robinson did that time in Croatia, he completely misses the ball after it takes a horrible bobble. The whole ground gasps as the ball, seemingly in slow motion, trickles goalwards. Thankfully for Arsenal, it rolls inches, and I mean inches wide of the right post.
