MetaPhysical: Chimamanda is insane for writing head of another government to take action against the government of Nigeria because polls said Obi will win, but after election Tinubu was winner.
Elections determine electoral victory, not polls.
She deserve to be denigrated. I dont care how important she is in literary circles, we have Nigerians that have achieved far better than her, and are incognito. Tell Ngozi Adichie to not end up frustrated and disillusioned like her mentor late Achebe. She never said to take action; instead, she stressed the need for the US to refrain from validating a flawed process. Since the US is the custodian of democracy, it is improper for them to support an undemocratic process. |

It has come to my attention that Prof. Yemi Oke sent a letter denigrating a renowned Chimamanda Adichie's opinionated letter regarding the Nigerian elections and the legitimacy of the Tinubu administration. It's simple for him to say that, and unlike Nobel laureate Profressor, he is an active supporter of the APC and was running for senator in Ogun State under the APC, so you wouldn't expect anything less from him. He and his likes (The Nobel laureate professor) are just another FFK with a Doctorate.

We are fully aware of the friendship between Wole Soyinka and ASIWAJU. In one of his talks, Wole Soyinka admitted to conducting a "rice" trade business with ASIWAJU involving several nations, that are involved in the trafficking of cocaine. And as is generally known, drug dealers utilize code names for their goods. Moreover, Wole Soyinka has a close relationship with Fide Castro, another drug trafficker godfather. Is it conceivable that Wole Soyinka once sold drugs?

It is and will always be: Birds of a feather.
This sentence: “Why will Wole Soyinka have strong ties with drug kingpins, and he’s a deep drug user” - has to be one of the worst sentences I’ve seen on this forum. The grammar is atrocious thus making the sentence unintelligible.
You’re an illiterate and I honestly don’t think you should be allowed to create threads on this forum, lol. Where are the mods?

I've been thinking about this for some days now, and I'll be very happy to share. There is a proverb that says, "Show me your friend, and I'll tell you what you do. This might be wholly accurate in this regard.
We all knew that Wole Soyinka was close friends with Asiwaju, who was convicted of drug peddling in the US, and that Wole Soyinka had significant contacts to a fascist leader in the form of Fidel Castro, who was also a drug-smuggling godfather.
It's possible that these connections are more than just a coincidence. Why would a man who appears to be honest maintain close ties with drug lords and kingpins??

Maybe you should ask him what is smoking because it is working for him. If you smoke it too, you might amount to something in life like Wole Shoyinka. The fact that he is a scholar does not make what he did right or good. Does the fact that Joseph Stalin and Mao Zedong were academics make their crimes against humanity justified? Cannabis smoking is prohibited under the Nigerian law. He broke the law, and that carries a punishment. |

Regardless, you need to go back to school and learn the use of English. Your understanding of the English language is rudimentary at best (same for the other obident zombies) hence most of you have a fundamental problem with Prof. Wole Soyinka. When you congratulate Africans on their small wins, they tend to revert to their default settings, which is a concern. Creeper: LMAOOO. “Just so you know” to start a sentence and “trafficking in drugs” are grammatical blunders only an uneducated village lout, speaking Edolish language (a terrible mixture of Edo and English language) would come up with.
Your use of English is very poor hence I’m not shocked by your inability to grasp my advanced style of writing and punctuation.
When next you meet whoever taught you the use of English: tell him, Mr Creeper the English Scholar, said he’s an utter failure, lol.
That said, you’re an Obidient slave, who accused Prof. Wole Soyinka of corruption - with claims of trying to destroy corruption. It’s interesting you claimed you want to destroy the order of corruption, yet the demagogue in your demagoguery was utterly corrupt as a governor. And under his watch, Fidelity Bank, was used to launder about $6billion of Nigeria’s money, to offshore accounts.
His vice, Datti, was sacked as a senator in 2011 for election fraud (I’m still trying to find links to the articles so I can shame your existence).

Vado2: In 1965, Wole Soyinka "invaded" the NBC-NigerianBroadcasting Corporation-Ibadan.
On October 15 of that year, the NBC building was heavily fortified because the Premier, Chief Ladoke Akintola, was scheduled to address the Region at 7:15pm. Shortly after 7pm, technician Akinwande Oshin entered the continuity room with two tapes that contained the Premier's speech, one in Yoruba and the other in English. Just as Oshin was about to insert the first tape, a man appeared at the door. The man was tall, a little over six feet, light complexioned, and had luxuriant hair, shaved sideburns and mustache, but an aggressively shooting beard from his chin. He wore a pair of blue jeans and a smock of traditional Igbira cloth. The man produced a Beretta pistol and held it to the technician's head, demanding the tapes. Despite the technician's initial hesitation, he handed over the tapes to the bearded gunman. However, the gunman then ordered Oshin to play one of the tapes, which he did out of fear. After listening to part of the contents, the gunman left as mysteriously as he had arrived. Pandemonium broke out when the Premier heard the recording from the tape, which urged him to leave town and take his supporters with him before the people took violent action. Oshin fled the studio, and people all over the region were asking the same question: who was the mystery gunman? A few weeks later, Wole Soyinka, a 31-year-old playwright and lecturer at the University of Lagos, was arrested for the incident but eventually released due to a lack of evidence against him.
