Abegi the ibos are more tribalistic, the only reason they voted for LP in mass blocks because it give the appearance of an ibo party.

The first LP governor was in Ondo State Mimiko.

Now all of the one dey change mouth and play innocent. One thing I notice is this victim mentality . meanwhile they taunt ppl and brag and make noise everywhere especially online. But now online yarns are making its way to the street.
Not at all; the Yorubas are more tribal. Most people supported Obi because they thought he was capable. I am aware of several Igbos who backed Osibanjo before the primaries. The Ibos would have cast a sizable number of votes for Osibanjo if he had won that primary election. They are extremely loud, which is the one complaint I have about them. They make all of their plans public, and if they don't change, most politicians won't want to be associated with them for fear of being rejected. They ought to learn from the Hausas. They ought to learn how to conceal their intentions and be strategic.

Even some very educated Yorubas who I know voted for Tinubu because he is a Yoruba man. I was totally dissatisfied! Many “Yoruba ronu” slurs in the Yoruba language. Simply put, it was absurd.

Imagine for a second... Tinubu was an Ibo man who had a very poor health condition and his drug case. He would have faced a significant amount of media attention as well as physical protest. I believe that this nation is biased against Ibos.

PoliticsMy Advise To The Ndigibos by Vado2(op): 12:16pm On Mar 21, 2023
It takes two to tango, as you are well aware. I would be acting hypocritically if I didn't discuss the huge faults of the Ibos in this election. The Ibos are too loud and easily predictable. They act with their emotions and give out their personality easily. After looking through some profiles, I realized that the majority of them are Ibos and that some of them don't even live in Lagos. I had even assumed that some of them were related to Gbadebo because I was seeing so so Rhodes Vivor. Why can't you quietly support your candidate? You don’t have to say it out loud.

Although you don't see us making a big deal out of it, many SS voted for and supported Peter Obi and Rhodes Vivor. Or did you not see the level of support that Edo and Delta gave Peter Obi despite being a state controlled by the PDP for years?? Let your deeds, not your words, do the talking.
Or do you consider yourself to be the only people using social media?? Or do you believe that the Hausas in Lagos don't give bloc votes to certain candidates?? But they never complain about it? It's merely a chest-beating attitude. Everyone rejects that!

After the election, you were treated unfairly, therefore instead of planning in silence, you all posted on Twitter that you were shredding your passports and leaving Lagos or that you folks will quit weddng Yorubas, etc. Why can't you folks just work quietly darn? Must you brag, by disclosing your plans, you're giving your adversaries information. You all determine in groups what you're going to do there without disclosing any specifics of your strategies. People in the SS are making decisions in response to the Yorubas' action, but details are never shared on social media; just the outcomes are displayed. As a result, everyone respects and fears the North and the South, as well as the SW to some extent due to their element of surprise. That’s what you saw on Saturday.

Among your political leaders, only Peter Obi has common sense. He is smart, tactful, and composed. He will never tell you what he plans to do. Incredibly unpredictable.

You guys need to stop bugging one other and start strategizing instead of ruining Peter Obi, by creation and aiding those who want to turn the Obidient movement into a tribal movement. Do not cause the numerous non-Yorubas who supported the Obidient movement to regret their support. Instead of using words, let your actions speak. Be surprising and cover your motives.

PoliticsGrv’s Only Sin, And The Hypocrisy Of The Yoruba Nation by Vado2(op): 9:27pm On Mar 20, 2023
.A son of the soil Omo-Eko, GRV has being denied of a Governorship seat, and being accused of being an omo-ale on the grounds that his mother is Ibo, among a number of other things. Yet, the fact remains that he questioned the “structure”, which is what stoked the tribal sentiments against him. Even individuals of little Yoruba descent have existed. James Faleke, a native of Kogi state, holds an office there and even uses funds from Lagos state to support his gubernatorial bids. The use of Lagos resources to fund an ambition, thats not even part of the a state southwest, and has not anytime be mentioned by any Yoruba leaders that I have seen.

They waged a campaign of slander against him, paid influencers to spread false information about him, and even included all the non-Yoruba tribes in the conflict, as they always do during any election cycle, simply because he dared to oppose the powers that be. Any candidate that’s against their structure they turn into an Ibo candidate.

Also, the horrible evil seed that this election has sown has been planted. These men are unaware that they have damaged the reputation of our country. Hahahha

And for the Yorubas who claim they are not involved in the local politics of others, just look at how they have transformed Peckham, England, into another Lagos, complete with churches, mosques, and private establishments. They even have two elected representatives in the house, and the Anglo-Saxons haven't retaliated against you or claimed you are encroaching on their territory, or you will soon claim there or don’t you think you’re disrupting another man’s local politics by getting elected into his parliament when you’re not even from there??

If you're go to Peckham, you'll believe it to be another Yoruba state. What makes you feel so uneasy around other southern clans?? Same reason why you folks portrayed Good-luck Jonathan as deserving of contempt because he came from a minority southern clan .

This isn’t even able the Ibos, but the subjugation of other southern clans. You will be able to grasp what I'm implying in the upcoming months, SS brothers.

Lies.

Desmond Elliot's mother is Delta Ibo. No Yoruba used that against him.

Banky W's mother is from Cross River. No Yoruba used that against him.
Because he didn’t contest against the system. James faleke is from Kogi and he’s a member of the Lagos state HOA.

You know, if he had run against the system, they would have brought files and said he wasn't qualified to run because he is from Kogi, and that he wants to capture Lagos, just as the Fulanis did in Kwara blah blah. . He has also attempted to become governor twice. Desmond Elliot and the others face the same situation. He’s contesting within the system.

You guys bring up the language issue, and I don't even know why. Will he use the language to govern the state? As far as I'm aware, Bukola Saraki, who was running for governor of Kwara, couldn't speak Yoruba. Even Obaseki, who is nearly 70 years old, is illiterate in the Bini. Is he no longer considered a true Bini man as a result?

All these Yoruba people, you guys seem to amaze me to be honest. You guys are bunch of hardcore tribalist, that’s the reason your leaders always try to whip ethno-tribal sentiments, and it always work.

Goodluck Jonathan didn't experience anywhere near the same level of hatred from the North as he did from the SW leaders. Why should a minority from the South be president rather than us? was the source of annoyance. They were the ones organizing protests after protest, employing Yoruba media like Sahara reporters and Omojuwa as influencers to topple Goodluck Jonathan. Even the religious leaders were not excluded. They also called him various derogatory names, like "clueless," and "sorts of things." They also raised a lot of hell against him before finally pushing the north against him. Maybe Goodluck is still an Ibo man.

The Ibo thing is merely a front. This is a fight against other southern clans.

Dear non-Yorubas in Lagos, it is time to reconsider ur status in Lagos, whether u were born here or migrated, It is time to trace your root.
What happened in Lagos on 18th of march wasn't an election rigging tactics or anything politics, it was a complete call for war and anarchy. Election were rigged all over the country across party lines, but targeting a particular group and threatening them not to exercise their right in their own country and in a state where dey pay taxes is unacceptable.

You may think it was just an igbo vs Yoruba thing, NO, alot of us were targeted because according to them, we look like igbos(i wondered how Yorubas look).
As a South South boy, i was dissappointed and i can never forget it. They may even decide to come for us from the SS tomorrow.

The 2023 census is around the corner, make sure u make arrangement to travel to your state to be counted, if u cant travel, make sure you are never added to Lagos population, let them count only the yorubas in Lagos.

The federal allocaton to states in Nigeria is depended on the state population, dont allow yourself to be a fool the second time, dont add to their population during census, only for them to remind you during election that you dont belong with them

Lessons were learnt and it will never be forgotten.
In reality, these guys are only using the Igbos as a front. It was a war against non-Yorubas yesterday, and as usual, the Ibos are the fall-guy everything. Kate Henshaw was the victim of the assault; did the thugs not realize that she is not Ibo? The goal is to control other southern clans. They will choose a different tribe once they are finished with the Ibos. Or did you not notice the type of hatred a SS leader, Goodluck Jonathan received from them when he was President?

And guess what? All the so-called scholars are silent even though Buhari's administration is significantly worse than Goodluck Jonathan's. The animosity became so intense that Patience Jonathan was referred to as a hippopotamus by a reputable Yoruba scholar.

This is a war against the southern clans, not the Ibos.

Although these tweets are extremely controversial, they weren't specifically intended at any one tribe. Where were they? Just let's be frank about this. I'm aware of how loud the Ibos can be. But, ethnic profiling is a new low.

What are your thoughts on Brymo and Bayo's tweets about the Ibos? You'd be surprised to learn that the Yoruba community overwhelmingly supported both of them.

Why do you guys always manage to turn a rival candidate into an Ibo candidate during election seasons? These are legitimate questions.

P.S. And you all are trying to make the Obidient movement a tribal movement, the obidient movement cut across every tribe. He’s speaking as an obidient, and not as an Ibo man.

You're threatening the Yorubas? See you are a backward clown? You are talking of change you assume will harm a people who are already formally at the forefront of the fight for you to control your resources?

What is shown below, only powerfully backed by the Yorubas, seems the action of those who control SS oil wealth and don't wish to relinquish that power?

Yorubas are now determined to evolve like the UK and other nations that are fantastic and developed yet do not have oil or much mineral resources.

This is why we want regional governance. We want to be free of retrogressive elements like you, and your backwards thinking, even if that means we make big concessions and sacrifices to gain that freedom.

Tribalism is your problem. If not you will have stayed out of this fracas between Yorubas and Igbos, caused 100% by Igbos, if you are not a Yoruba hater.

I don't know how anyone from the SS can hate the Yorubas who are using their most powerful leaders to advocate for what benefits you SS folks the most while your leaders and those of the SE remain irresponsibly silent.

Yorubas are not called progressives for nothing. Keep hating them and continue frustrating and depressing yourself when you realize they will always be a step ahead.

By the way, your leaders are your worst enemies. Incompetent and simple minded. Focus on tackling them rather than myopically hating the Yorubas.

Even with full resource control I still would not trust them not to let you lot down horribly. NDDC is a pertinent example.

If you're rational, you'll realize that the statement "Igbo should not vote" served as a dagger to stab all non-Yorubas, who were harassed and abused; one of my closest friends, Itsekiri, suffered serious injuries during this election. Is he an Ibo? You disgusting lots referred to every non-Yoruba as Ibo. Just so Injustice to one , is Injustice to all.

Are you mentioning threats? At the election on Saturday, the Yorubas crudely threatened the existence of the non-Yorubas. You’re discussing resource control ? These men are acting solely in their own self-interest and do not represent the interests of the South South. Our southern leaders, Ibori, Odili, and Alamiesiagha, have been fighting for it.

Okowa and other south south leaders pushed the topic well into 2020, and even Wike had mentioned it.

A Yoruba man, I emphasize, cannot accomplish anything for anyone else but himself. You all are doing it because you arrogant lot now believe that everyone should not benefit from the Lagos IGR, same Lagos that was built with money from the Niger Delta. That's the plan, not because you care for your Southern brethren, which is obviously not the case.

Nigerian immigrants who live abroad achieve the highest levels of success politically or economically. You don't fucking have any of their bloodline, but as a citizen, you still get to enjoy sane priorities. However, in Nigeria, the political elites have stoked the fires of ethno-religious bigotry for their own self-serving interests. And some credulous individuals have engaged in ethnic profiling. Today it is the Igbos; tomorrow it can be Edo or the Itsekiris The Yorubas intend to enslave other southern clans that are minorities, just like what the Fulanis are doing to the Hausas. Just because you people turned it into a Yoruba vs. Ibo fight because he was able to attract a lot of Ibo support. The Ibos strongly preferred Wike to Amaechi, despite the fact that Amaechi is more affliated with the Ibo community and he never attempted to portray Wike as an Ibo candidate.

You all go to other countries and dominate counties and cities. Yorubas predominate greatly in Peckham; they even have unions, Mosques, and churches there, even parastatals.
