[quote author=samistry post=138658896]He barely moves at all. Na the same Japanese old man style e dey wrestle but does it badly. Don't even get me started on his chops.
always the chops, you guys should leave him alone. You try to experiment that and see how hard it is. Not everyone is Bruce Lee. You can easily see he's putting effort, but it's rapid hence it comes out that way; but he has to make sure he doesn't injure his opponents.

You want make me go watch Eddie Kingston match again.

You say MJF isn't that good in the ring but praise Eddie Kingston who has a poor cardio despite wrestling the old man Japanese style.
Eddie Kingston has action. For a fat man he moves well. He's got facials and can sell. MJF while being athletic and can act, doesn't seem to want to use his athletism proactively in a match. He's always wasting time on frivolities, so his matches leave much action to be desired.

Successful at what? Why is he no longer at the main show? Tony eyes have opened that he's not that good in ring. He's good at promo but ring work na dud.
na big name abi no be big name? Na former champion abi no be? Has he wrestled and beaten big names or not? Eddie Kingston cannot be undermined.

I don't know their reason but maybe they delayed his debut due to building up Oba Femi. They're similar kind of monsters.
By the way where these ones dey?
I want to see more of Persephone grin
They've been featured on AEW and ROH (just ROH for Ashanti). I've seen Royce, they keep teasing him. He's already wrestled for them, but yet, nothing. A statement will do just fine.

WWE fans, was the clip of Bianca shoving the contract at Rhea a script or not?

On a not-so lighter note.👇🏿

Eh, Punk has always been a tweener. He has always had a more sinister edge to him
this reason isn't really strong. First it was his family he attacked and insulted, now it's his late legend of a dad he's invoking. Something's off. Punk has been accused of being too nice and happy, where did all that come from?
TV/MoviesRe: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by ValeeLove(m): 5:30pm On Mar 03
The foolish girl aside, a babyface telling another babyface that he'll bury him close to his late wrestling legend dad isn't really a 'babyface thing' to say. A heel turn down the line?

I think you people are being worked into making this more of a big deal than it actually is.
She just said Rhea spends a lot of time with creative.

Think about it.
it's not a smart statement to make in character. She also said the office keeps her on top going into Mania (which kind of stupid 'work' is that?). Wrestlers that have no connection to the feud are chiming in and guess what - they're all heels supporting a babyface.😱 Rhea talking about breaking the '4th wall'? And the only person saying it's reportedly a work is Dave Meltzer.🤣
Like CoolUsername said, if it's eventually a work then everyone involved doesn't know anything about their job.

Even if she could talk and wrestle, breaking kayfabe like this, whether as a worked shoot or a legit shoot, makes no sense to me.

And no, it's Tony Khan's fault that WWE decided to sign a mediocre wrestler and push her to the moon.
I understand. But this is why I blame TK; do you know that he praised Jade's run and wanted to give her a bigger deal than the previous? As bad as HHH's decision (assuming it was his) making is as much as you think, he'd never have made that terrible decision. WWE wanted Jade because AEW had already pushed and heavily promoted her (bro she was on everything), she had gotten that fame and had the superstar look. WWE does what WWE does best, look for aesthetic and hype and try to make money out of it. Without AEW WWE wouldn't have given her a job. Tony brought her in to immediately feud with the bosses and had her first match with Cody and Shaq, HHH would never.
TV/MoviesRe: Purpl3's WWE (and Pro-wrestling in general) Discussion And Banter House by ValeeLove(m):
People are saying Jade-Rhea is good business and people are interested. They're not interested for value and quality but for drama, and that interest is temporal. Cargill can't talk and wrestle, how is this feud going to succeed? She can make noise online but this Friday she won't say nor do jack. It'll most likely be heavily scripted to protect her and Rhea (as a pro) will play ball. None of this 'excitement' will spillover to their promo. And the match will be wack.
It's Tony Khan's fault at the end of the day.

imagine burying WWE creative and management for your own selfishness, aside trying to destroy your colleagues reputation. She don tire for wrestling. Make them release her. It's long overdue.

Alright,i will leave it at that.
Another wrestler that had "The Look" in the mid 1990s at WWE was Lex Luger but he had little in-ring skills and that led to him fizzling out
exactly.

Gooldberg had "the look" in his WCW era and was terrific in squash matches. When he got to WWE when they acquired WCW and they put him in 9minute matches,he got boring real quick.
The Great Khalil was just awful...awful to stare at....awful in the ring.
Warrior had an incredible look and was incredibly charismatic. His in-ring skills were terrible but his charisma was able to compensate for his weakness especially for that era of wrestling.
Omos in WWE was a slug to watch. He had "the look" (Giant monster) but had no mic & in-ring skills & that tanked him.

How can you say looks don't matter in other sports when the majority of folks on planet earth believe Anthony Joshua is the best boxer alive.Did you not see how women reacted towards him a few months ago, when he fought one of those Paul brothers?
we're saying the same thing you just dont realise it yet. The fact that you said Omos had no skill and that tanked him is just my point. "Skill" is all that matters. You don't need to be chiseled to succeed in pro-wrestling. Can you wrestle, can you act? Those are it.
AJ? AJ isn't even the champion. Usyk looks like somebody's grandfather.

It may shock you how I feel about wrestling, but the crew here know I'm all about the 'crazy' wrestling theories. Still haven't been proven wrong though.

You should have added Kevin Owens to your list.
The Ultimate Warrior,Rick Rude,Diesel,Razor Ramon,Shawn Michaels,The Rock,Tripple H,Jeff Hardy,Edge,Randy Orton,Cena,Roman Reigns.
The industry is extremely "look-centric".The more of "The Look" you possess, the more oppotunities are handed to you.A Shawn Michaels was always going to be given more time to shine than a Mankind/Mick Foley
i disagree. Looks are irrelevant. If you have it or not isn't a factor - that's my point. The peeps you've mentioned with my names have 1 thing in common, and that's performance ability. Hence guys like Goldberg, Warrior, Khali, Gonzalez, Sid, Omos, are heavily criticized and to some extent unsuccessful. It's why Jade is heavily criticized regardless of where she works. We've got successful boxers and MMA fighters without good looks. Nuff said.

Really? I wonder why wrestling fans (especially the males) spend more time analysing, posting old & new clips & latest news about wrestlers like Liv Morgan,Toni Storm,Nikita Lyons,Bianca Belair,Iyo Sky and Sol Ruca rather than Awesome Kong,Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler
Dusty, Big Show, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, Eddie Kingston; are all names that aren't impressively looking but all successful. One question matters - "can you perform?"; that's all.
