AEW bounced back from such poor ratings last year or so if I recall. Maybe Tony will put the title on MJF soon to pick things up.

I doubt. Tony doesn't fold to pressure easily. Let these guys give AEW a break though. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but a lot of people want it to succeed. We saw what a world with the only big name being WWE was like, and it wasn't pretty.

As regards your thoughts about AEW being all about storylines now.
I even think WWE and AEW introduced many championships to avoid storylines.
Look at their PPV. You find more matches about championships than personal beef or exhibition match on the card.

In case you missed it, I mentioned liking the Darby vs Claudio match in the last show.
I didn't care for Garcia vs Moxley. I find Garcia pretty bland, that includes his wrestling style too.
I didn't care for the women tag match nor the Don Callis family vs Bandido and friends.

I'm saying if you want to rate a show, it'll be appropriate (since you claim you care about matches) at least mention all the matches. But again, you're not Dave Meltzer. AEW last week wasn't that exciting.
it was Copeland/Christian vs FTR buildup and Darby vs Claudio match that were interesting.
Garcia is boring and so are the Deathriders. Mercedes came to gloat about 9 belts but flower decoration cover one of the belts, so the viewers saw only 8🤦.

Don Callis family is way too populated right now, Wardlow goes from associating with MJF /Pinnacle group, Undisputed kingdom and now Don Callis family.

AEW contacted the WWE virus, it's about storylines now. So I'm not surprised - still rooting for them. Also I notice you're only talking angles, what about the matches? They don't matter?

She and Jasper Troy all na rookies who don't have (Pro) wrestling experience. Hence, they work LFG,LEVEL UP and House shows. The only difference is that she had a 2mins piss break match on NXT two months ago.
Compare their cagematch history, you'll see it's similar.

Jade Cargill was already a top free agent coming from a rival company. They pushed her to main roster same way they put Lucha brothers, MCMG, samoans and their former guys who left AEW.
Is Jade at their level? No. Perhaps, she should have gone the NXT route. I would say Jordynne Grace is more than ready for main roster but she can't cut long promos in the WWE way (maybe that's why she's still on NXT).

so this is the story. Someone asked on this group what happened to her and another responded, saying she sucks (God help me I hope I'm not conflating platforms), so I decided to go check her weeks after, expecting to actually see she sucks but i saw the opposite. And maybe the company wasn't too high on her. They took her to Evolve. You may say it's 2 matches, but how long has she been wrestling. She should have been a regular on NXT like Jasper. But at least she's back, so I just thought I needed to correct that impression. I mean how did I know she was relegated to Evolve if someone hadn't mentioned it, I don't watch WWE.
Top free agent my foot. That lady is the singular biggest embarrassment to wrestling today. Only Nia Jax comes a bit close.

When you see a wrestling card, you should have a conclusive feeling, either to watch or not to. Not the one that has matchups sparsely advertised and you're left to hope that some impromptu match will take place, someone will show up or something surprising will happen. It's how fans end up disappointing themselves. Show us the full card, including the interviews and we pay for what we expect.

NXT LEVEL UP isn't same as main NXT. It's a show for upcoming talents which was replaced with Evolve. Male wrestlers also wrestled on LEVEL UP.

am I seeing things? This is from my YouTube downloads and I just screenshotted it. There's no Level Up anywhere there, in the title or in the videos. The commentators don't mention Level Up, just NXT.

Looking at cagematch, this is her first match on NXT main show. She was on house shows, LEVEL UP, LFG, Evolve. They do that for fresh talents before putting them on NXT. it's same with AEW using ROH for upcoming talents.
