When Brock said Wrestling is all about the money, it made me think, is it truly ALL about the money? Because Cody literally left the company he help create and grow, because of the money. Is this all a scheme to take our money and put in their pockets? Are we just customers and not actual fans as we think?

i commented the same thing. I'll give wrestling companies like AEW, NJPW, ROH and NXT Black & Gold credit. They brought us back the need for in-ring ability, but without a good character work it's incomplete. Hence why guys in the 80s depended a lot on gimmicks and good characters and got over with them.

I on the other hand will give the worst and that's at Royal Rumble 2000 when he lost the Royal Rumble match after he and The Rock botched the finish with The Rock's feet touching the floor first, but was not viewed by the camera. Rock was announced winner and his music played. Show immediately walked out of the arena without a word. The Rock would later return on RAW - I believe in 2015 - and told Big Show he had admittedly agreed Show should have been announced as winner and mentioning what difference it would have made for his career. Show ended up crying up in that funny and yet heart breaking segment.
Now Paul Wight is signed with AEW.
