PoliticsRe: PDP Confident Of Reclaiming National Assembly Majority, Presidency In 2027 by Validated: 4:43am On May 17
So says a party that is not selling a presidential nomination form. Never mind, Seyi Makinde is the man we know.
He will deliver for APM and PDP and by so doing reduce Tinubu's only hope to Renewed Losses.
PoliticsRe: Obi Should No Longer Be Scared Of Primaries by Validated: 4:38am On May 17
DomPerignon:
This Direct primaries going on is by far the best amendment to be made on our existing electoral law as it not only entrenches grassroot participation in party selection process but most importantly it puts contestants and the successful candidate to come down to the level of those who ensured they got on the ballot .
That said, Obi who has a deep phobia for primaries should not be scared any longer as he can now get his phantom organic followers to vote him a ticket.
But knowing Obi has no real national spread besides his SE, this will be an upheaval task as he will need to win the primaries in majority states of the federation.
The only solace Obi has is that NDC is a mushroom party with very negligible registered party members outside the Obidient and Kwankwassai cults and that the few registered card carrying members are mostly Ibos outside the SE and spread across Nigeria .
So with this Obi might get the party ticket but all this changes if Kwankwasso decides to contest and that is where he can dust obi across the north.
You this "boy", assuming you are a man that thinks like a 9 year old. NDC is a mushrrom party just like LP, whereas the latter defeated Tinubu in Lagos, Abuja and Rivers in 2023. Come 2027, the defeat would be a "humiliation" of Tinubu in these states, plus Kano, Jigawa and KKK states.

If APC can contest in Edo, NDC has the same right. PO for president 2027 - 2031.

The party is not popular. See how primaries be like general elections.
All these party members must be aliens.
2027, all of una eye go peel.
You are happy 😊 with this turnout in Lagos? Agege alone boast of about 4 million eligible voters. What you have there is not up to 200k. Wait until campaign starts. If Peter Obi and Kwankwaso venture enter Agege, hold up will last 3 days.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria 2027 Presidential Election: Who Stands A Chance? by Validated: 12:09pm On May 15
Seyi Makinde has won the election for Peter Obi and Kwankwaso.
PoliticsRe: Nothing Like PDP-APM Under Electoral Act 2026 by Validated: 5:20am On May 15
Seyi is running under APM, he has the Taminu Turaki PDP faction working for him in APM, just as Wike's faction are working for Tinubu. Effectively reducing Tinubu’s votes to only Ogun and Ekiti wins. Lagos, Oyo, Ondo and Osun are 25% states in the SW for Tinubu. In the SE and SS, Tinubu will be humiliated.
PoliticsRe: 2027: Makinde On The Ballot May Destroy Atiku’s 25% Chances In Southwest by Validated: 11:26pm On May 14
LegendHero:
Makinde contesting the 2027 presidential election could affect Atiku’s chances in Oyo State more than it affects Tinubu’s.
A lot of people believe Makinde joining the race under APM will mainly reduce Tinubu’s votes in Oyo, but if you look closely at the 2023 presidential election results, the bigger damage may actually be on Atiku’s side.
2023 Oyo Presidential Results:
* Tinubu — 449k votes
* Atiku — 182k votes
* Peter Obi — 99k votes

Despite Tinubu’s dominance, Atiku was still able to secure the required 25% in Oyo. But with Makinde now potentially on the ballot and the PDP structure in Oyo no longer fully aligned with Atiku, a large portion of anti-Tinubu voters could naturally shift toward Makinde instead.

Many of the people who voted against Tinubu in 2023 are 50% likely to vote against him again in 2027, but this time Makinde may become the direct beneficiary of those votes.

Yes, Tinubu may lose some support too, but percentage-wise, the impact on Atiku could be much deeper because Makinde directly cuts into the PDP voting base and opposition structure in the Southwest.

At this point, Atiku will struggle to secure 25% in most Southwest states. Osun, for example, will also vote very differently in 2027 because Adeleke openly support Tinubu.

Strategically, one could argue that the best option for Atiku would have been a Makinde/Atiku alliance or Makinde deputizing him. That combination could have opened more doors in the Southwest and strengthened PDP’s chances of reaching the constitutional spread requirement.
As it stands now, even Sowore may defeat Tinubu.

PoliticsRe: APC Clears Governor Fubara For APC Governorship Primaries by Validated: 3:09pm On May 14

Fubara should get the ticket while the Wike group should get the Assembly seats and the Ministerial position of the state. That way, no group is left out. The two groups will also have no choice than to work for the party.
Dreamer, be sharing positions in Rivers, whoch Rivers State, do you mean in SW abi na the one in SS?
PoliticsRe: Thin Crowds, Loud Message: Anioma Turns Away From Ned Nwoko by Validated: 12:40am On May 14
APC has no place in Delta, even Okowa will be defeated by NDC candidate.
PoliticsAtiku May Not Be Running Afterall by Validated(op): 5:06am On May 13
With Makinde seeking to run under PDP-APM platform, Atiku may not get a viable running mate for 2027.
It is on record that Atiku usually like to run with a sitting governor, who would most likely bankroll the elections.
With Makinde out of the market, there are no governors in the South available for
Atiku. The only option for Atiku now is Amaechi or perhaps Ihedioha. Those two would be easily swallowed by Peter Obi's influence in SE and SS.

Hence, I am predicting a two horse race between Peter Obi and Tinubu.
The result will be overwhelmingly in favour of Peter Obi.
PoliticsRe: An Obi-Kwankwaso Ticket Can't Win Against Tinubu In 2027 - Dele Momodu by Validated: 4:56am On May 13
Dele Momodu is not serious, why not face Atiku and his crumbling ADC that is riddled with pending litigations. I hope ADC ticket is now free. I learnt Amaechi may dump the party soon. With Makinde not playing balls, Atiku may not be running for president.

If Tinubu get 10% in Akwa-Ibom, he should be jubulating. 2027 will be a rig and roast election, especially in the South South. The people are getting ready.
I was in Delta state recently, from Warri to Asaba, Tinubu and APC are looked upon as Leprosy.

Governor Fubara, wake up and fight. Work with NDC and get a placeholder in NDC. You can also be a political godfather.
Use Rivers money to install a governor who will look after your supporters. Do not be docile like Ambode, who has since been forgotten and pushed i to the dustbim of political history.

Fight now that you have the power. A governor is POWERFUL and can unmake a an ex-governor and even a president. FIGHT! FIGHT!! FIGHT!!!

Ibehchizzy:
That will spell the end of apc If gej picks and eventually becomes the president
The problem is that PDP results will be nullified, that woukd make either Peter Obi or Atiku win or go for run-ooff. With GEJ on the balls, Tinubu is only guaranteed 4 states in the South West and may be Bornu state in the North. Tinubu remains the weakest candidate after SDP's Adebayo and AAC's Sowore.

I wish to also notify you all that when PO becomes president, I shall be seeking to be appointed as EFCC chairman. My mission is to recover the over $10T stolen from Nigeria.

With such humongous recovery, no Nigerian will ever sleep hungry for 20 yrars. Our hospitals will become first class, our armed forces will be better equipped to fight insurgency, we can provide free and compulsory education, 24 hours electricity
