Politics › #OccupyNASS: Peter Obi Should Lead Protest by Validated(op): 11:27am On Feb 06 |
We need to tell this government that their time is up. They cannot continue to do anyhow. Either they pass e- transmission of results or they should close shop. Peter Obi should lead the protest, Buhari led APC protest back then, Obi should not be afraid of this evil governments. With US troops on the ground, they CANNOT shoot peaceful protest. Either we get it right or not. Rigging MIST die!
All ADC leadership should coordinate each state movement and occupy all government offices nation-wide. From Lagos to Abuja to PH, to Kano, etc. It is now or never. |

BlakKluKluxKlan: OP, stop your useless sentimentalising issues without deploying wisdom.
Do you know how many polling Units there are in the country, including many in rural areas.
Electricity supply is just getting better. Steady power supply is essential for e-upload of results. It will simply lead to chaos.
The election of June 12, 1993 was free and fair without this method.
The election of 2013 was largely free and fair without this method.
A proper use of form EC8A at every polling centre is enough to checkmate rigging. But you have tax laws that can be implemented in those rural areas. You collect MTN, Airtel and other VATfrom the rural areas. It is the docile Nigerians that I blame. If this was in countries like Kenya, the streets would be flooded. Not late anyway, Nigerians are waiting for the NLC, Civil Society and the likes to lead the way. This cannot stand. |

Emu4life: Wrong. Stone not worshiped. Abraham and his Son, Ishmeal built the Ka'aba where the Stone is located. It is a wonder of the world, though symbolic. Abraham kè, which son? Ismael that the Egyptian slave mother was chased out? Oga, the Bible predates Koran by over 5000 years. There are archeological manuscripts supporting Bible accounts. Not one, I repeat NOT a single archeological evidences support your FABLES about your Abrahim. Go and verify. When Solomon dedicated the First Temple, he prayed to YHMH saying " Whenever anyone faces this temple to pray, please answer them" 1Kings 8: 44 -45. To replicate it, as the son of perdition does, he made some people to start worship a stone. Same way people built temples to generate trees, Rivers, rocks, etc. The Almighty God does not live in temples, not in stones, but Dwells in heaven and has made HIS spirit to dwell in His beloved. |

Guess what , this uncle couldnt achieve anything throughtout his 35 years of teaching. All his salary was used to pay debt his wife push him into. If not for their first daughter that married a well to do man who helped him to build a house on his land he bought from his gratuity. This man would have just grow old and go without anything. I don't pity him because he caused and brought that upon himself. Op, so the woman without skill bore him a daughter, who built a house for him. How many houses did your father build from your skillful mother? |

Politics › Re: Vdm’s Outburst On The Ekiti State 2026 Budget Is Not Activism (pix) by Validated: 12:28am On Feb 01 |
RealPhoenix: VDM’s outburst on the Ekiti State 2026 Budget is not activism; it is ignorance wrapped in profanity and sold as moral outrage.
What VDM released on the Ekiti State budget is not advocacy. It is noise dressed up as outrage, and the excessive insults only underline a lack of discipline, training, and seriousness.
When someone begins a public intervention with curses instead of facts, he has already told us one thing clearly: he has no argument strong enough to stand on its own.
The claim that Ekiti State “budgeted ₦68 million for healthcare” is flatly false. That figure was lifted from a single, narrow budget line and dishonestly presented as the total health vote. That is either lazy ignorance or calculated deception.
In reality, the Ekiti State Government’s health-related allocations in the 2026 budget run into several billions of naira, covering:
• tertiary healthcare • state-wide health insurance • hospital administration and services • coordination of primary healthcare • drugs, supplies, monitoring, and health data systems. EKSUTH alone has a budgetary allocation of 6.8 Billion naira.
No amount of shouting can reduce billions to “₦68 million”.
On legislative spending, the attempt to scandalise allocations for the House of Assembly is equally shallow. Governance does not operate in abandoned buildings, nor are institutions maintained with slogans. Renovation, equipment, and maintenance are normal, routine costs of keeping a legislature functional. Turning these into moral crimes is pure populist theatre.
But perhaps the most revealing part of VDM’s outburst is the language itself.
A man who cannot express concern without abuse, curses, and threats of divine punishment betrays poor upbringing and weak emotional control. Serious public commentators persuade with facts and logic—not tantrums.
Ekiti people deserve scrutiny of their government, yes—but scrutiny rooted in truth, law, and context, not election-season sensationalism and deliberate misrepresentation.
Anger is not analysis. Insults are not evidence. And shouting does not convert falsehood into fact.
Ola "Lógunọfẹ" Olusola, Igede Ekiti. Oga, list your own or better still publish the budget. Office Equipment- N250m Equipment for Office - N230m Office Computers B250m Etc Thieves.bVDM should get people to translate the budget to Yoruba so ADC can make it go viral. |

Politics › Re: Why Obidients Were So Sure Of A Coup Before May 29th Inauguration by Validated: 4:09pm On Jan 30 |
9jatriot: Who remembers how the "Obidient" crew were openly wishing for a coup long before the inauguration in 2023? They were so confident that there would be no inauguration on May 29, 2023. While many of us dismissed it as wishful thinking, recent events suggest that an actual plot might have been in motion. The belief among the "Obidients" was that the military would seize power and hand it over to "Lamba King." Some hardcore supporters didn’t even care if power was handed to him—they just didn’t want Tinubu to rule. I have reason to believe that if the DSS digs deeper, they’ll uncover more to this coup than what’s currently visible. Given how certain many of these "Obidients" were at the time, it would be very difficult for anyone to convince me that their main sponsors and key players aren’t involved in this coup plot. I also suspect that figures like Emefiele and Malami will be implicated if this matter is thoroughly investigated. Additionally, I believe many of those involved in this alleged coup are also among those fueling insecurity across the country. Who knows? Maybe the ransoms they’ve been collecting from kidnappings were intended to fund this very cause. To think that this plan was allegedly still in play from 2023 until September 2025 when someone came out to report is staggering. If they due you now, your parents will start begging. Please, name ONE Obidient wishing for a coup or just delete this post. That NL provided you a platform should not give you the right to go mad. |
