The frenzy that some politicians, political jobbers, celebrities, commenter, bloggers and content creators, regional bodies and government officials have come out to condemn the Edo Killing is commendable. NEF in its first time have asked for compensation to the families of the victims.

However, Nigerians from various parts of the country, Edo, Dekta, Ondo, Imo, Enugu, Plateau and Benue have severally been victims of Fulani herdsmen attacks, raping, killing, maiming and destruction of farmland, homes, etc. Had the President, governors, NASS, PANDEF, NEF, politicians, political jobbers and others risen up and condemned these killings, had the North been proactive in stopping these destruction, had President Tinubu been proactive enough to act, perhaps the incident at Uromi would have ended averted.

The president and commander in chief should be held accountable for the Killing in Edo. The security agencies should be held responsible. In Nigeria, noone has the permission to bear arms, except security agencies. So, for anyone to be roaming the highways with arms and ammunition, they can easily be termed killers and or armed robbers.

My suggestion is that what is good for the Fulanis should also be good for the Ishan. If an Edo man is found in Katsina with gun, how would he be treated?

You are comparing Rivers to Lagos and Oyo where buildings are collapsing and killing people every week? The RVSG was proactive to have demolished as structurally defect assembly complex, and immediately embarked on rebuilding it. What would you have said if the structure collapsed on the honorable members?

As for salary payments, you want the governor to pay assembly members who went to a Federal High Court to swear Affidavit that they have decamped from the party that sponsored them, without a court decision otherwise? Would that not amount to COMTEMPT OF THE COURT?
Point of correction, the governor NEVER declared anyone's seat vacant. The undefected PDP lawmakers did. The defected members should have approached the court and not cause confusion in Rivers.
