@Mega, YMCY, Peterichy, SonofEllyon Remember the Proverb that if you chop alone you die alone. Please you people release small JAPAULGOLD for us, I thought we are friends naa? LOL! ![]() |
See me chasing JAPAULGOLD like American Visa, since 3 days now only 700k units since day before yesterday, so far all my orders returns unfilled. Peter and Loco abeg make una release small for us naa ![]() |
yMcy56: So who go come buy a company with total revenue of #400m last year at #15, newbies? Even Awesome can trade above their annual revenue in one day. |
zendi:Oh men! You just got me rolling on the floor with your savagery. Seems you have a degree in Savagery? |
yMcy56:MCY Perhaps the bolded may be the case because the rate at which my orders at 44 were filling up before it drops even close to market closing time today was surprising. Doesn't the sellers want another 10% tomorrow? At least JAPAULGOLD drags for over an hour before filling despite my order being exactly at +10% |
Sunrisepebble:In other words, this decision is based on TIPSY analysis right. Abeg no be only una know how to give name to every type of analysis jaree. Make I laugh like my oga Agba ![]() |
vacanci:I can always come back. Which investor will accept to pick up his rights if the price at the floor doesn't become higher than right issue price? If Baba Wale doesn't know what's up let him sleep on it naa. |
ProphetUtuocha:'Prophet' now I just realized you only come here to sell your market just like Loco and Co nothing special. Every Oando order I have placed today at 44 has filled at the speed of light. JAPAULGOLD is now even far more scarce than OANDO. |
Why is JAPAULGOLD playing hard to get at the maximum amount for today 2.76? Abi it has moved from SAND to GOLD already? LOL! |
I have been exiting my GTB @ #115-117 to enter OANDO today at 44 while the offer last. Who is with me on this? |
https://nairametrics.com/2026/02/02/sterling-holdco-2025-full-year-unaudited-profit-jumps-98-to-n90-7-billion/ Why is sterling bloody today despite this news? |
zendi:I want to buy some of which I know it has to be by CROSS-DEAL. Please do you have a seller? Or is anyone here interested to sell? |
wiki15:Where is it selling or you will buy by introduction as ZICHIS was listed by introduction? LOL |
iHaveMadeiT2:I thought DUNLOP has closed shop in Nigeria for many years now why are they still listed? Is it Incase they change their mind and return? |
[quote author=mikeapollo post=138235244]Similar to how Ikeja Hotels was selling below N1 (i.e. 0.70 -0.80k) at the time. It is now at N35 That is how NGX can easily make one a multimillionaire or billionaire. [/qu The question now is how can we discover the future IKEJA HOTEL and CHAMS of tomorrow today? |
deathwing:My bad, you are right I am mistaking Coronation Registrars for Cardinal Stone here. Thanks for the correction. |
mikeapollo:Thanks for your response, but if this is the case it means CORONATION REGISTARS is pushing their job back to me in the mandate form. Coronation registrars are the registrars to MTN and also ARADEL, I didn't receive my MTN dividend and when I wrote them they sent me mandate form to fill and in the mandate form they listed all the companies they are registrars to and are expecting me to provide my shareholder's number for each of them that I hold. |
Valthegreat:CHN number now decrypted from my purchase contracts but SHAREHOLDER'S NUMBER not yet traced, please where can I trace this easily? My MTN dividend not yet paid since last month and now they are requesting I fill E-mandate form which I have never filled before and have been receiving other dividends. |
My people Cardinal Stone is asking for my SHARE HOLDER'S NUMBER for each of the companies I hold their shares which they act as registrars to, please where can I find my shareholder's number and my CHN number too? |
Streetinvestor2:Street another thing I noticed from your attachment is that this particular mall in question do not check properly if their vendors are supplying original products directly from companies. If I am not mistaking, both Royal Stallion and Cap Rice are brands of the Stallion Group owned by the Lebanese, that group was the most famous during the era of rice importation but since Buhari banned importation they haven't been much available in the market and as such disgruntled elements that operate in that industry massively produce their bags for re-bagging of other available rice brands so as to sell them at premium prices. As such I don't take any rice vendor I find Cap Rice and Stallion in their stores seriously. |
Hi Streetinvestor2:Honestly, these malls in South East and South South or their vendors are very wicked. Both Big Bull and BUA were selling at 57,000 when I bought 18 bags last month for sharing. I bought 3bags for my family first and later rushed back the next day to buy these ones so as to avoid increments that may occur due to higher demand for Christmas.
|
ogawisdom:But in this case price hike is already confirmed to be cost-induced and not demand-induced. APC government is taxing air transport operators to stupor after allowing insecurity to fester on the roads. Just making it look like the insecurity is tax-induced ![]() |
chimex38:I think the right thing to say here is that TETfund projects are very visible everywhere but as for transparency they lack it too. You need to imagine the source of their funding and how huge it is to know why they have enough to embezzle and still have visible projects. Do you know what is 3% of the taxable profits of all companies in Nigeria deducted from source annually? Now can you remember, I think during Buhari's administration when it was exposed that Adamawa's chapter of APC has been funded on monthly basis directly from TETfund account for years? That's why I assumed that it is a case of having quite enough to go round. |
awesomeJ:Please who gets this funds directly, federal ministry of education, his foundation distributes among the 36 states and F.C.T ministries/department of Education or his foundation identifies projects to fund directly at education institutions nation wide. It is better the later is the case because if the former is, not more than 60% of the funds will touch education sector for real. |
awesomeJ:That means your Detty December needs to be really Detty with a lot of thanksgiving. Honestly, I don't know how all these hard men enjoy their life with a lot of debt hanging on their neck. I do believe that they no longer have conscience, I don't know when I will be able to grow tough like them walahi. |
Agbalowomeri:This one you didn't put your usual trade marks which shows you are serious this time, are you going as a fellow invitee or just to hold your oga's briefcase (of course filled with dollars and pounds he will spray Dangote) for him? |
awesomeJ:@ the bolded, was it really underestimation or inflation in prices of cost of materials multiplied your estimates, except both contributed anyway. When I completed my house in December 2019 I bought the last batch of cement @ #2,400 per bag (and I was angry that I was buying at a premium) fast forward to 2023 a bag became #10,000 meaning that it would have cost over extra 150% to complete same size of project just within a space of 3years. Inflation no be anybody's mate for this country just that we are resilient people coupled with the possibility of corruption here and there that almost everybody in the country are benefiting from. Besides, if the kind of inflation that happens in Nigeria happen in all these western countries where black is black and white is white most times honestly many people will commit suicide. |
deathwing:If I didn't raise this topic today perhaps I wouldn't have known that informed investors are this averse to real estate (rental income) investment. But all investment books are always talking about cash flow of which rent is among the most strongly recommended? |
ojeysky:You are tempting me to leave my remaining CHAMS for the next 5-10 years even though I am not convinced that they can do a CWG kind of magic in a short while. Only time will tell sha |
crownprince2017:My guy you too like oyel business. ![]() But I think you are right sha. Rent will likely not fall, but uncertainties like default may happen at any time. |
emmanuelewumi:Now you are getting the gist if you know Onipanu well. It is a pure new and modern building. They are just at the last stage of installing fittings. |
Streetinvestor2:You need to understand the intricacies of lease development business to understand the answers to these questions. They usually need liquidity to develop the next property, so let's assume he spent #100m to develop this one deck of six flats (remember he didn't buy land) he is willing to sale some parts to raise block funds to develop his next property ( I learnt he cleared another plot 2days ago for redevelopment). Should he rent the whole property out he should raise only approximately #16m but if he sale these two at #28m and rent the remaining 4 flats at #11m he will likely raise more funds to develop his next project instead of borrowing from bank at around 37%. I believe that's the mathematics behind their decision to accept long term lease instead of collecting just annual rents. In other words his long term profit is still intact via the remaining 4flats as well as the opportunity to develop more properties. |
