Princkez:That's from #9 last year they listed o! The way these oil people grow is crazy. Although, Okitipupa oil have decades of experience in the business and that distinctly separates them from ELLAHLAKES. Let's keep watching to see if ELLAHLAKES gets it right, if they do the outcome should be the same. |
PuristForest:Did you mean to say 2.7 or 1.7 for real? Pls kindly clarify. |
mikeapollo:Being this technical will most likely put all these Tpain paid e-rats here where they belong than ranting with them at same level. Many economists and analysts are not talking about this. We have a cost-push inflation and the economy managers are applying solutions for demand pull inflation. More like using amplicox to cure headache. The reason why a sizeable tuber of yam transported from Benue to Lagos is selling at 4,000 is not because there's too much purchasing power in the hands of the buyer at Lagos (demand pull), but rather because the farmer in Benue bought fertilizer and other agro chemicals at 200K instead of 40k he used to buy them and also the trader that bought the yam from Benue had to pay #2million for trucking to Lagos instead of the #700k he was paying before Tpain (cost push). Now instead of the managers of the economy to think of how to reduce these costs for producers so that they will inturn reduce prices, they are rather increasing interest rates in order to mop-up excess liquidity thereby putting more pressure on the producers to whom interest rate is a cost also that must be pushed back to consumers thereby increasing inflation the more. |
What's happening to PZ? I thought the management promised that even if they will delist the minority shareholders will be adequately compensated through good buy out prices. Why is everybody quickly selling? Is it sell or hold at this point? |
yMcy56:Thanks so much for the info, you are highly appreciated. I am learning seriously, when I grow up I go like to be like una ![]() Please what's your advice for PZ and soon Unity Bank. Load or watch first? |
yMcy56:YMcy Crownprince just said that you were instrumental (among others) in guiding him to secure the bag when he was new here, I beg I am new here no w o! please come to my aid I want to secure the bag like him too. Thanks in advance. However, I appreciate the contributions of all the FA and TA gurus here, God bless all of you and give you big bags this year in Jesus name - Amen. If I had discovered this group earlier after events of 2008 made me give up on Nigerian stock exchange I would have done a lot better in the area of investment decisions but I believe better days are ahead. ONE LOVE!!! |
Streetinvestor2:Thanks for this bro, let me check them out quickly. |
Please who knows any money market fund that has dollar denominated investment. In other words, that accepts investment in US dollars? Kindly help a brother if you know any. |
Abeg if we try to collect this Oando 'dividend' will the profit takers allow us to enjoy it in peace. The way the price has been moving up and down within these few days I was thinking that 'dividend' lovers will buy it up hasn't been encouraging. In other words fake 'dividend' is really different from real dividend. |
megawealth01:I think the scarcity is expected because according to reliable information only 115.32 million shares were listed and that perhaps should be what is largely contributing to the price rally. Meanwhile, their financials are not bad at all, I think they made 2billion revenue in 2023 out of which 1billion was declared as PBT that's 50%, very massive. These oil businesses are replicating same kind of result everywhere. Is there any reason to believe that Ellah Lakes will be a different case scenario. Professionals like Oga Emma, Emmaodet, Streetinvestor, Ymcy(if I didn't spell the moniker wrongly), Locotrader etc please what's your advice concerning the future of Ellah Lakes so that we the newbies will know wether we can park our bus there before it is too late? |
jp130:I don't think there's any difference. It should be same process via your stock broker because it is still CSCS that handle their operations too. In fact CSCS is also quoted there. |
essentialone: ![]() But some premier league level teams are there o! Like Mobil (11Plc), Access Bank, Friesland and Campina (Wamco), Nipco oil and gas and Dufil Prima Foods, etc. For instance, Okitipupa oil Plc has done over 850% there in a space of 1yr and few months so if the insights are being shared here too many members of the group would have benefitted from the price rally. |
unite4real:NASD is also a NIGERIAN STOCK EXCHANGE because they are regulated by same SEC. Except if the group is meant for NGX quoted stocks only. I stand to be corrected though. |
I am surprised nobody makes mention of stocks that are on NASD on this forum, is it largely because there are just few companies there for now? |
Locotrader:Please don't mind the ingrates, many of us appreciate your contributions here. Especially we the newbies, pls keep giving us insight. |
Locotrader:Welcome back our Locomotive Loco, we have missed you so far. It seems I will look for cash to add CWG and E-tranzact to my portfolio too. |
Locotrader:This is only possible in 3 case scenerios: You are the only one that bought for the day and the total traded was within what you bought, you know all the people that bought and the units they bought same day Or your order was filled with a single trade. Am I wrong? |
Locotrader:With the cash balance I am still seeing on my account my order was not filled. Only what I received through text was bought and I believe it was because of time not that the supply wasn't enough. |
Locotrader:I am serious. I couldn't screenshot because Morgan is yet to upload my today's purchases on my portfolio but judging from text messages from CSCS that I received only less than 2,500m units has been filled out of my request. Except it was time constraint because some of the ones that got filled happened after 2pm |
KarlTom:I am surprised o! I placed a bid at 242 and Morgan purchased the bid at 235 saving me about 1.4m. I don't know wether it is a buying or selling signal o! But I think we are still at the rumour stage, the news stage will happen after we see the percentage increment in tariff. |
Locotrader:I actually placed the order between 2.14 and 2.18. So far some million units has been filled at between 2.15 and 2.16. It has hasn't touched both of my limits yet. |
Locotrader:I actually placed it between 2.14 and 2.18 |
Locotrader:I have submitted my bid already at 2.14 since after all said and done it will still close at 2.14. Btw, what do you think might be the objective of the seller that keeps insisting on 2.14? You can see that the volume available at 2.14 is actually higher than the others asking for above 2.14 in your screenshot? |
Locotrader:Do you think I can still get it at 2.14? I want to become the aggressive buyer you are looking for. |
Please who knows if Morgan Capital can match a volume order for me gradually until they achieve the target. I mean if I send the order by email instead of picking them myself on their platform? |
Pls what's the opening and closing time for NGX on Friday this one all stock's opening prices are written null? I want to place an order but need to confirm current prices first? |
emmanuelewumi:Honestly I can't give someone my #5m to return #15,500,000m to me in 7 years. Not even CBN can project Naira's value over the next 7 years, so I can't trust the Naira that much. The interest rate is almost same as Federal government bond which I can collect the interest instantly and use it for another business and then collect my capital at the end of one year. So the best thing to buy now as you recommended is PRESCO's shares because they will be making a lot of profit in the coming years by borrowing Naira to do export business. Note that if they float the same bond at same rate in USD I will invest Wella. Just my personal opinion though. |
Health3:With all these going on with Chams and Japaul is it still advisable to buy and hold now? Cc. Director Loco |
Emir01:Pls how many percents do they charge as brokerage fees? |
Youngzedd:I appreciate this info bro. |
Valthegreat:Please the masters here should help me before I make mistakes. I Want to invest funds but I need help so as not to use bad platforms. Kindly give me suggestions on the best online broker to use for seamless transactions and low fees too |
Please house which broker is the best in terms of seamless transactions and low fees? I have checked Cardinal Stone as someone here advised but the information about their charges are not explicitly stated in their website. |
