an update notification came up earlier today, I did the update and now a few things are wrong with my phone settings.

the most crucial of 'em all is that i can't manage hotspot settings anymore, and hotspot won't work.

really pissed about this, anyone experienced this yet?

I'm still waiting for that f**ked up update to reach me. been waiting since last weekend.
you need to confirm if those that did that update suffer the same issue.

Which of the external support do u recommend?

by external power support, I mean those that have provision for connecting to a source. Although they never worked on my hot2 only my hot note. Hot 2 doesn't have OTG, they say its hardware limitation just like infinix zero.

It does, though I think there are some settings one needs to do....not certain sha.

OTG is kinda direct, if it powers another device, its otg supported. but also, if it doesn't, you can make it do so by compiling custom kernel if the chip config support it or else, forget otg. also try those with external power support you might get lucky.

Hi guys, I must say this phone has been awesome. I've not got any problem at all with it...well except that I could not update even though the update just keep hanging in my status bar staring right back at me.

I rooted my phone, but few days later I received the alert to update, as a sharp guy na, I unrooted using Kingroot but each time I try to update the 23MB sized, it just takes me to the recovery try to download but just brings up error!

Well, have been also trying to download the stock rom from Infinix site but the only link available is through Mega, which when I try to download for some reason it just stops and there's no way I can download through IDM.

So guys, if anyone has gone through this problem and fixed it could you help a brother out or better still could anyone point me to another link other than Mega. Thanks.

Don't mind my epistle, I had to give a vivid explanation.

use the android mega app and make sure you have storage space at least 2x the size of the file.of course you'll need a mega account,then import it before downloading.

please guys, if you received the update while rooted, before unrooting can you upload the zip for us?. its in /cache folder

I've been searching in vain on how to force immersive mode on jellybean. I found out after doing some experiments with some xposed modules and I wish to help others looking for the same thing.
I was using expanded desktop mode on gravity box but it didn't provide the feature of swipe to reveal status bar so I used a work-around

xposed installed (I assume we all know xposed framework)

how to
install every thing listed and enable app setting module under modules in xposed installer and reboot.
open app settings and choose your apps ,enable it from the switch above then under full screen, choose force..do for all apps with user interface.
open swipe status bar and enable it and ur good to go.
you can modify ur status bar using gravity box or tinted status bar,all depends on you
note: before installing xposed, take a cwm backup.
