Programming / Re: (A-MUST-READ) How To Make Real Money By Building And Selling Software by valzey(m): 3:35pm On Apr 23, 2019 |
I see building desktop software as a no go area for those wishing to make money for livelihood. Those areas are for enterprises and there's no way you can beat them in the market so they should focus on learning their solutions and sell, install, support and maintain them for customers. Though you might just have a stroke of genius and develop something excellent but that won't happen on an empty stomach. Focus energy on easier projects like web and mobile. |

Nice app and you have the skill but i don't see anyone dropping whatsapp or telegram for this. You should focus your energy where you can get returns. 3 Likes |
Computer Market / Re: If You Are Truly A Programmer, Then Get In. by valzey(m): 12:57pm On Apr 11, 2019 |
Your PC will cope with learning programming languages and for lower web dev but definitely not Mobile dev. Android Studio and Visual Studio are resource hogs. 1 Like |
Programming / Re: Do You Need A Coding Mentor? by valzey(m): 12:47pm On Apr 11, 2019 |
You misunderstand who a mentor is my friend. You should be mentoring how to be successful in this profession based on where to invest your time, what to learn, how to market yourself, how to get jobs etc. And not how to build a live site. That is of course if you're successful already. Just rename the thread if you can and remove mentor 1 Like |
Programming / Re: What's Needed To Become An Ethical Hacker by valzey(m): 12:33pm On Apr 11, 2019 |
Searching how to hack websites or how to hack Wi-Fi etc..would definitely bring up some tutorial which you can follow and hack but you will never understand why. So I advice you learn a programming language to open up your brain, learn how networking, ports and how HTTP protocol work. Once you know a little on making, you can understand a lot on breaking. It will set you apart from the rest. 1 Like |
Programming / Re: Please,Help Explain This Code In C by valzey(m): 1:02am On Mar 30, 2019 |
octaflav: That program is good for the use case, just provide a valid simple C code in 'program.txt' and watch the results. Then modify as you see fit. Remember anything more than this is entering syntax analysis. I wonder if you've even run it yet. |

Programming / Re: Please,Help Explain This Code In C by valzey(m): 4:54pm On Mar 29, 2019 |
octaflav:Don't be afraid. Its a simple program that: Opens a file called "program.txt" Goes through every string in the file: If it finds an operator (+,-,/,*) it prints its an operator. If it finds a keyword it prints it is a keyword If it is none it prints it is an identifier. |
Programming / Re: Please,Help Explain This Code In C by valzey(m): 8:18pm On Mar 28, 2019 |
From a functional perspective, the code does nothing. It does some processing on some variables (i, j, k) which it never uses. Now 'Hello All' will never be displayed because flag can never be 10. Finally getchar() just keeps the program on till you enter a character and press enter at which the program terminates. So it does nothing. 1 Like |

Obagoblog: If you reside in PH, you can contact me. Not everyone can easily learn their first programming language on their own so don't feel bad, its normal. |

vezycash:Rather than suffer there, if you must build android apps please use java or kotlin. If you prefer cross-platform, try C# with xamarin cos they are all heavily supported by huge communities and company backing. 1 Like |

I always recommend people to learn a platform and not a language and that begs the question: What do u want to build ?...web, mobile, desktop, digital circuits..etc |
Programming / Re: Web Design, Web Development And Mobile App Development Tutorial by valzey(m): 10:17am On Jan 22, 2019 |
Nice attempt bro, but i think you'll have better chances if you provide only dev support to beginners rather than a complete beginner's course. |
