If this is true which i actually find very hard to belive, when she started putting on the pounds where were you, were you blind or sleeping? And what have you done to help her so far?
After all there are gymns all over the place, go register her and yourself in one and encourage her to get through the first three months which are actually the most difficult when trying to discipline yourself, also encourage her to reduce her food intake.

Maggot, mostly my fault though, bought a kilo of grape from the road side, and started eating before i washed it, eaten like a quarter of it, cos i was driving so wasnt really paying attention to what i was eating, b4 i finally noticed the maggots, threw the rest away.
Wasnt to surprised when i tested positive for thypoid bout a month later, was prone to thypoid then.
Also strand of hairs a lot, even from top eatries, but that i can live with .

Am from Niger delta and am saying MEND are a bunch of criminals, lets stop fooling ourselves and saying the government should have a dialogue with them.What they need is to be treated like what they are, as criminals and nothing more.
If everybody who feels they 've not had a fair deal pick up a weapon and start threating innocent people where will it get us, so lets not encourage such acts of terrorism from any quarter.
Afterall 70% of the Nigerian population are not getting the best from the nation, but it has not served as a reason for acts of terrorism.
MEND ARE CRIMINALS THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD FLUSH THEM OUT, AND BRING THEM TO BOOK.
