I pass here everyday to my sites in ph
This is pathetic I must say...

Odili road was a very sweet access road in ph but bad maintenance culture brought us here.

My name is francis
Check my signature to know us better.
Seconded its in a sorry state and this is one of our major roads.
I am not blaming Wike as the road was already going bad but I am requesting he addresses it immediately before it gets worse.

i have a story too...sci-fi, fantasy action story
Its about an ancient African tribe that existed over 60,000 years ago that had magic and powers, they were more than just Homo Sapiens, but were wiped out in a supernatural nuclear war living only a handful of them remaining who were stuck in the river niger for 60,000 years, they were released back onto the surface as a result of oil drilling in the southern part of Nigeria only to discover that the world they once knew changed and had to fit in it and keep their powers secret.

Calm down Bros! You are derailing. Nobody cares about ur family and nobody certainly cares about your age. The point niga x above you is trying to make is that we should think around our our local fictional powers. Not everyone believes in black magic or witchcraft just like not everyone believes telekinetic power, alien projecting laser beams from their assss and all.

In my view, theirs an inferiority complex at play here. Which would you rather your children See or believe ? Niga hulk with powder and calabash or Some guy getting angry at the slightest pinch and turning into a nine foot, angry, green monster, /a Viking God(Thor) coming down to earth to save you and your kids.

Bullshit is bushitt ..the key is to tell it without blinking
Its called " make believe"..

P.s I bet your godly kids has seen harry Porter.
Happy to disappoint you, movies like harry potter are also not allowed in my house.
If it has any negative undertones it is not allowed even Ben 10. So its not a case of inferiority complex its a case of what is wrong is wrong.
By Gods goodness, I have done a bit of travelling to several countries and i will tell anyone without any doubt that Nigerians are one of the most intelligent and creative set of peeps you could ever come across. Even when i was in the UK this year i was wearing my made in Nigeria dresses and quite a number of ladies stopped me to compliment my outfit and of course i was extremely glad to tell them it was made in Nigeria.

Nigerians are extremely intelligent and creative but sadly most Nigerians choose to put their intellects to negative use. So bro, I am proudly NAIJA, anyday, anytime, anywhere!!!

iammrjohnson:
you are practising hypocrisy,ma

there's more harm in making your kids not know such exists in their home land..i dislike africa magic but not for your stated reason

this is just like sex education,it's better you enlighten your kids asbout it and let them know right from wrong than hide the wrong from them.

how do you expect your kids to handle african related situations/ life experiences?

juju is part of africa, like it or not..and you and i are from here.. people invent according to their society and i wonder what society your kids belong to
I will keep them away from African Magic in their young age because African Magic portrays things the wrong way and celebrates evil. When they are older and the right foundation has been established then they will know about such and at that point they will also be wise enough to realize that the most powerful juju is living right with Man and with God. No man or Woman can harm you when you are on the right standing with God. Work hard, be kind, help whenever you are in a position to help and leave the rest to God. You will sleep in peace and wake in peace daily. You cant sow good and reap evil, there's no two way about it. What you put in is what the earth and all its forces returns back to you.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: How One Act Of Kindness Secured Him His Dream Job by VANENON(f):
Nice one.
Can we all see this, right attitude, a kind and helpful heart not juju got him the job!
Moral of the story, If you are ever in a position to be nice/help, go ahead and help QED.

Why if i may ask?

Have you heard of constantine,scarlet witch,daimon hellstrom,etrigan the demon,timothy hunter,dr fate,zatanna,dr strange, amongst others.
We have so much inside of us. We do not need all this juju stuff in our lives to achieve great things.. In my house we do not watch African magic and the likes because I don't want any child around me to even know such exists. What you need is your brain, determination, hard work, positive attitude and prayers. Why should juju be portrayed as the source of his power, is that what we want children to aspire for/to?

Why does negativity increase because we project it as good to the young ones. In this case you want to portray juju as the source of his power.
Good attempt but kinda felt abit like iron man, would make some sense if the powers where some juju/jazz or something that really reflects Naija/Africa,something like hulk would have made mad sense, pip a monstrous dark skinned hulk, his mother died while giving birth to him and he's father died some weeks before.so all his life has been from ophanages to ophanages, for some odd reason he was never adopted,he just turned 16yrs old and knew he probably wouldnt get a home,so he ran off.started doing petty jobs on the streets, became a conductor, hawked gala, sold recharge cards.until one fateful day he was hungry and broke and saw a well prepared meal in a calabash by the road side, without thinking he dived in and ate the food clean, after which he passed out,he got transcended into the spiritual where he saw he's father who told him he was destined for greater things and it wasnt his time to die, that he has been waiting for the day he was going to have a near death moment so he can appear and reveal the power he posseses, with some incantations and some white powdery substance blown on his face,he awoke and found himself at the motorpark shank he sleeps in,he thought he had a crazy dream until gradually he started mutating, changing into a nigga hulk, with wings and heat vision and all that cool shiit..this just took me less than 3mins to make up,but its something everyone here can relate with, maybe i should get on kickstarter as well...like if you think i should, share to tell me to go fvck myself.

Think you should take out that juju white powdery stuff. We need to start portraying our country in a better light. We have so much inside of us. We do not need all this juju stuff in our lives to achieve great things.. In my house we do not watch African magic and the likes because I don't want my children to even know such exists. Its terribly wrong irrespective of the gender.
Father and Mothers teach your children at an early age what they need to know and keep a close eye on your children especially within the ages of 1 to 15.
Most of all pray for God to keep them safe and far from evil men and women!!!
RomanceRe: My Husband Passed Me Around Like A Sex-Toy! A Lady Narrates... by VANENON(f): 12:48pm On Aug 18, 2015
Sad, disgusting, shameful but could be true. I have come to learn that any and everything is possible.

If it actually happened and you were innocent, then its really sad. Please take heart and be strong.
Also sad to say that your husband either doesnt really love you or has a warped understanding of love.

Your decision to move out was not wrong so that you recover from the pain, take time to think and make a proper decision.
Another question would be has your husband tried to reach you and if yes, has he shown any remorse. In all consider your son and make the best decision for him first not for yourself alone. If you decide to go back to him ensure you put proper checks in place to ensure this can never occur again. I dont know how but you think it through and do the needful.

Note that you are not useless and nobody can make you feel useless about yourself except you give them the opportunity. Its their shame not yours.

FamilyRe: Whom To Blame!!! by VANENON(f):
Vivian is right, she should say no and should stick to her grounds.
She has been having sex with her boyfriend who she loves and there mutual respect and understanding between them.
Dont get me wrong, i do not support premarital sex but in this case at least she believes in the love thats between her and her boyfriend.
She sleeping with her boyfriend is a seperate wrong that has nothing to do with the shameless proposal from a possibly old and stinking man. Who is most likely married and has a daugther her age.

Vivian remember karma is not too far, if you sleep with him be sure you will pay one way or the other.

Her uncle is an animal and it goes to tell what he also would do in same situation with another lady.
The question to the uncle should be "If i were your daugther would this advice still be same"

Vivian refuse to give in it will only be a short struggle before an open door will come your way.
So sad that even so many guys think she should go ahead and sell her body and self respect.

PoliticsLets Help Our New President Move Nigeria Forward by VANENON(op):
We all desire change, we all clamor for change and Buhari has won the elections because he promised us CHANGE!
We have such high hopes and such great expectations from our New president elect and if anyone says Buhari doesn't have an almost impossible task ahead of him then he or she will be telling a great lie.

GMB, If anyone expects a total turn around within 4 years, then i guess they must believe you are GOD and you have the power to perform miracles. I am a realist and i know you cannot bring about a total reform and neither can you perform miracles but i know that there are a few keys sectors you can focus on that will bring about very dramatic and impactful change to the country as a whole.

1. POWER SUPPLY: Get this right and every sector of the economy will be impacted, also the masses will forever be grateful to you.
2. INSECURITY: Fight this menace called Boko Haram and any other ugly monster that tries to raise its ugly head during your tenure.
3. CORRUPTION: Tackle corruption from the root because if you able to minimize/eliminate corruption then there will be more funds available for impactful investments. Please do not turn a blind eye to corruption.
4 PETROLEUM: Ensure its readily available and affordable. These no acceptable reason why a country that exports crude should suffer fuel scarcity.
5 AGRICULTURE: Before oil Nigeria was largely sustained by agriculture so revive our agricultural sector. This will also help to reduce the unemployment situation in the country.

Nairalanders feel free to add yours to the list and if you have ideas of how GMB can make things work please post them.
GMB please create an online portal where people can propose ideas to you. Definitely not all will be useful but i can assure you there would be some golden ideas amongst them. We have great minds in Nigeria and Nigerians understand the way Nigeria works better than any foreigner can.

GMB, we wish you all the best and really do hope you will bring about the much desired change. GOD BLESS NIGERIA.
PoliticsRe: David Cameron, UK PM Congratulates Buhari by VANENON(f): 3:43pm On Apr 01, 2015
Brimmie:
Dear Nairalanders, we all need to understand the concept of Greatness and Heroism. I have been reading Revisionist pieces and White-Washing of Sepulchres on several Social Media Platforms with different people calling GEJ a Hero for conceding to Buhari.

So he is now a hero because he conceded? Did he have a choice?

GEJ has played Politics with the Lives of thousands of our Countrymen for too long. History will never be kind to him. Note that He wasn't magnanimous by accepting defeat, the circumstances and factors were all against him. He didn't concede, he was compelled to. He didn't give us democracy, we demanded it and we got it. He is not a hero by any standard.

We should separate sentiments from matters of National Interest, all those who made hate speeches should be prosecuted. All those who stole our collective wealth must be jailed and made to refund the money.

Sending congratulatory messages to Buhari should not confer automatic Immunity to these Wicked Criminals.

The true Heroes are those who stood up in the rain to vote and stayed to make sure their votes count. Not GEJ who allowed impuntiy unchecked, to whom "Stealing is not corruption".

GEJ's concession of defeat is commendable, but not admirable. He must answer for embezzled funds.

Please look for a time when ur mum is in a good mood and tell her d story like it happened to someone else tell her to advise u.whatever advice she gives u will guide u further.
I have done this before and it worked extremely well.
It was a married man in my office who i had always assumed was a strong christian and so i had a lot of respect for him. Only for me to find out he was asking all the small babes in the office out and it was a joke amongst the babes. I was a bit embarrassed for him and wondered if i should have a word with him or not. Eventually applied this tactic , his reponse was if he were the individual he would want to know and he took my advise extremely well when i told him.

with all due respect ma in as much as I believe women are special, beautiful and wonderful I Dont believe there is anything mysterious abt them. women are just materialistic simple. and they REALLY DO KNOW WHAT THEY WANT O. jeep, comfortability , and unnecessary vanities. that's not mysterious na. mystery is a situation wen someone is hard to understand and predict e.g a very rich man and a poor man comes to seek a ladies hand and she chooses the poor man. everyone will be confused and say .....wow. why did she do that. that's mysterious and hard to understand. but we all know what a normal girl would choose.........THE RICH MAN. so there's no mystery there na. and for your information some people have actually studied ladies and graduated o. and they learnt that the law of love in girls state that ALL THINGS BEEN EQUAL, THE LAW OF GRAVITY WOULD ALWAYS PULL A LADY TO A GUY WHOSE BANK ACCOUNT HAS MORE MASS AND WEIGHT THAN HIS RIVAL. (EXCEPT FOR THOSE LADIES WHO HAVE THE FEAR OF GOD).
You are wrong on this.

Ten Strange Things All Women Has Done At Least Once

1. Laughed or coughed so hard when you’re on your period and more blood comes out.

2. When you think nobody is looking, you readjust your bra, stick your hand in, pull ‘em up one at a time, straighten the band and straps, and add an extra squeeze to make sure everything is in its place.

3. Sit in a strange position when farting, so the fart bubble does not go up the …..you know. lipsrsealed

4. Open your mouth really wide while putting mascara on.

5. When you don’t have a pad around when you start your period…you fold up toilet paper, place in the middle of the underwear, struggle to pull up pants without dislodging the tissue, walk unnaturally so as not to mess up the paper….. Bloody shredded paper in your underwear when you get home.

6. Spending 30 minutes in front of the mirror trying to get the perfect “cat eye.”

7. That amazing back/stomach scratch when you take your bra off after a long day. Best feeling ever.

8. Indiscriminately checking any fellow female for a “period stain” who asks, regardless of who they are-even your worst enemy or someone you’ve never met before.

9. The period check. When you’re sitting down, you “accidentally” drop something and while you’re bending over to pick it up, you sneak a peek between your legs to make sure you’re not leaking.

10. Comment on this thread and say “Eww, I’ve never done that before” cheesy

I see y’all wink
I dont use mascara and as for the rest they are private matters for ladies why bring them up here? angry angry angry
